Hi, I have a problem with TOAST wallet: 1) I have the PIN, the passhprase and the wallet backup 2) I go into the app, see my XRPs and see the transactions etc. 3) but a little while ago I discovered through their TWITTER profile that the wallet was no longer working for a few months 4) even if i log into the app and see my balance i can't transfer funds. It tells me that the "passphrase is incorrect" "The passphrase or recovery phrase is incorrect" 5) I have seen that other people also have the same problem 6) thank you in advance if someone can please help me solve the problem Pablo

HI, 2 questions about Toast wallet on Windows 10 .. 1 - Apart from being portable, is there any benefit using the Windows 10 Installer over the Portable Executable ( or vice versa )? 2 - I've been playing around with uninstalliing/securing Toast Wallet and found that if you move/delete the "IndexedDB" folder in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\ToastWallet then the wallet effectively resets. When you next run the executable, instead of your already set up PIN screen it takes you to the Licence Agreement screen for setting up a new wallet. Restoring this folder then restores your wallet. Is it safe to say that hard deleting these files would be all it takes to "uninstall" your actual wallet from a PC ? Reason I'm asking - I'm looking to create a Veracrypt encrypted archive of my Toast wallet, containing just the portable executable and these IndexedDB files. This way I can effectively keep my Ripple Wallet offline when not in use as without these files, if someone gains access to my PC and opens Toast they would just get the startup Licence Agreement screen and process for setting up a new Wallet. Uninstalling Toast does not do this as the "C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\ToastWallet" files are not deleted when uninstalling. And yes I'm aware of the risk of a keylogger getting my Veracrypt password and then somehow opening the archive and copying these files back and cracking my Toast PIN and getting my Ripple, happy to take that risk. I will also be taking a Toast Wallet backup as per the instructions and locking that away seperately. I just need to know if deleting/locking these IndexDB files is enough to prevent access to my Toast wallet. Cheers, Dave

Greetings all XRP forum members, First of all, If I have added this topic in the improper section, please excuse me! Second, my concern and intention of posting this: I intend to buy XRP and deliver it to a toast wallet but I have no solution at the moment to activate the toast wallet by sending just 20 XRP as I have none at the moment and, after the purchase, the service will deliver the full amount when requiring the destination wallet. In this sense, I am very concerned that if I make my purchase, and go along with the process and end up at the wallet transfer step, if I send it to my non-active fresh (empty) toast wallet it will actually go nowhere and the investment will be lost. If the community has had experience with this issue or have actually went through this process (from coinmama to xrp toast wallet), please share and if possible please provide a course of action that I can take regarding my predicament.... Thank you all!

https://ambcrypto.com/ripples-xrp-ledger-gets-toast-wallets-trustline-support/ The update also comes with news of Toast Wallet setting up their own cluster of nodes on Ripple’s network. This is to allow for the smooth functioning of the platform. Trustlines are links between two addresses on the XRP Ledger. They represent an explicit statement of willingness to hold debt obligations for the gateway. It can allow strangers on the network to open credit lines and make payments based on trust. On the XRP Ledger, it requires 5 XRP to open and keep a trustline open. A trustline cannot be closed if the balance is above 0. It is important to note that one must not open a trustline with an entity one does not trust.

I was wondering where does @ToastWallet calculate the price of your total XRP balance which it displays?

Hello. I have my ripple address stored in my Ripple Desktop Wallet. The Ripple Desktop Wallet is going to be discontinued soon and I want to move my ripples (or the address and codes, however the hell it works) to a toast wallet. I am wondering if anyone can assist me with this? I do not want to setup a new wallet in toast as I don't want to burn another 20 XRP in the reserve. I want to just associate my current address to Toast. Is this possible? How do I do this exactly? I am not sure if I am correct or not but I understand that the ripples are not held in my wallets but rather the keys to my ripples, am I correct? If this is the case than I would assume that I can just simply house my keys in a different wallet and not pay another reserve and set up a brand new address? Thanks

Dear Fellow Ripplers and Crypto Experts, Can someone please help me by providing DETAILED step-by-step advice on the following?: 1.) What is the SAFEST way to transfer XRP from a Paper Wallet (Cold Storage) to Ledger Nano S WITHOUT EXPOSING my private key/s on the internet? This is my goal. 2.) Am I able to transfer XRP directly from the paper wallet (cold storage) to the Ledger Nano S OR will I be required to transfer the XRP to an intermediary desktop wallet first (such as RIPPEX or TOAST) and then transfer XRP from the intermediary wallet (such as RIPPEX or TOAST) to Ledger Nano S? FYI: I am not interested in using a hosted wallet such as Gatehub. 3.) Assuming that I need to transfer to an intermediary desktop wallet first (such as Rippex or Toast), is there a way to accomplish this WITHOUT EXPOSING my private key/s on the internet? If so, how? 4.) When transferring XRP from a paper wallet to a desktop wallet (such as Rippex or Toast), will my original paper wallet keys (public and private) stay the same or will the desktop wallet provide new keys? Also, when transferring XRP from a desktop wallet (such as Rippex or Toast) to the Ledger Nano S, will my keys (public and private) change again or will they remain the same? I searched online and the tutorials but could not find exactly what I'm looking for. Your assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help.

I just wanna keep this to the bare minimum, information wise, to get to the question I am asking.... I went through all of the steps to make my first purchase of XRP through Binance. I have successfully moved all my XRP from Binance to my Toast Wallet and have saved, in various formats, every bit of pin numbers, passwords, etc. I have my address and secret key most importantly. Hypothetically, can I delete Toast wallet from my device(s) and be able to access my XRP with the keys that I have?

Hi. Pretty certain I just lost all my Ripple, so a word to the wise. I downloaded toast, wrote down the pin, six words, passworx etc. and then that long number pops up in a box to go to the clipboard for saving, which I did, in the text editor. Of course it's saved by default to the device. Now I'm stuck in a bootloop, that one thing I didn't write down is the only thing that restores. The ironic thing. If it hadn't have popped up in a window for copying, I would have written it down. If you have toast wallet, please write down that long number, and then look after it.

Hi guys, I need help PLEASE. I cannot transfer funds out of my Ripple wallet. I am trying to transfer Ripple out of the iPhone Toast wallet app and every time I get to the first screen and select the account I am sending it to and type in the tag number and the amount of Ripple I am sending and click Pay, it comes up with an error saying that it appears that I have not deposited the initial 20XRP it requires, I have like 40XRP in there?? It then has a button to continue, so I click that. It then asks me to enter my passphrase which I do successfully and then it comes up with an Error saying that it's most likely due to a lack of funds in the account, or this error can also be caused by an invalid or not activated destination address or if the Ripple Network is overload. Now I have tried to send it to 5 different wallets on different exchanges, I have definitely got over 800XRP in that account and I have tried doing the backup thing and typing my secret long *** code in that it gave me when I first got it. Can someone please give me advice on what to do, Am I doing something wrong or is the network genuinely congested?? I read in one article that you can confirm if your wallet is activated or valid, I typed my XRP address into it and it said it was activated on one out of the 4 different coding screen which I didn't understand. Can you guys please please help me out!!! My ripple wallet is rNHFwDFgXGmQUXjVCNN8UKsbm87W4TBtCv Thank you soooooooooooooooooooooo much!!!!

Hello guys. I have a few questions on creating a ripple wallet with public address and secret key on Toast Wallet. 1-) How does Toast generate a wallet? 2-) How does Toast generate a Secret Key? 3-) Which external software/tool is used by Toast Wallet to generate a Secret Key? 4-) How we can ensure that the Secret Key only known by us and it has only recorded in our local machine? 5-) Can Toast Wallet give a guarantee to us for that: When the Secret Key generated it can not known by another people/machine/logs/db ? 5-) How we can ensure that it will never send to your servers or another servers in the future when you put an update on the software? Please don't send me the Toast's faq page, because in that page there is no enough information on this topic. Best regards, The King

I'm new to Ripple, so I hope someone might clear up a question. I am using Toast on my Mac. How do I activate the account I created? Can I simple send XRP to the wallet from a changelly.com BTC->XRP exchange? Then I would just have 20 XRP locked in the wallet if I wanted to move it again, maybe to a hardware wallet in the future? Or do I have to somehow activate it another way? Thanks

Hi All, I have a modest (for me) amount of zerps. I've done some research on wallets, including getting a very detailed response on here a while back from a more technically proficient hodler than me. It was about having an old computer, wiping, and using Linux to re-install this or that and basically use it as cold storage. To be honest I couldn't follow it. That guy was also dismissive of the Toast wallet. I got a new iPhone recently and still have my old one. I'm wondering if using my old iPhone with toast is a good idea? It seems much more secure than using Toast on my actual phone as I won't be in danger of losing it. What do people think? Are there security issues I'm not thinking of? Cheers

Looks like someone (not me) has released a new wallet, based on Jatchili's Minimalist Client - updated! Not sure how secure/audited the software has been, but it has been pushed to the Google Play store if that means anything. https://toastwallet.com/ https://github.com/ToastWallet/core If secure and robust, it's a very welcome addition to the XRP user-space.
