  3. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/another-day-another-50-million-205554590.html I hate these stories. But, it's things like this that show you that crypto is still pre dot com burst. We need to get some kind of regulation that shuts down scammers, and results in the crypto space consolidating into the legit tokens with real businesses. The sooner we do that then the sooner XRP becomes the next AMZ.
  4. I posted a thread, just the other day, about my idea that things might turn around as we enter April. The reason was that we leave Q1 and enter Q2 today. The idea was that people wanted to keep their losses in Q1 and make gains in Q2. Reading all of your comments I started to rethink my position, so I sincerely thank you for those comments. I have come to the conclusion that Ripple might be the biggest scam in the history of Crypto. All the evidence point to this one fact. I believe that Ripple has shorted all of the XRPs they hold in their escrow. This means that it is in their best interest to drive down the XRP price as low as possible. So what's the evidence? It's really very simple, and I prove it in the figure below. Every time the price go up, Ripple publish some major news. This could be that "a major remittance company is trialing xRapid", or "we are signing up more than one bank per week", or perhaps "we're very confident of entering China". You get the idea. Every time such a news is published, the price dips. The greater the news, the larger the dip. We've all seen this. In the figure below I've correlated the dips with the timing of these news, and the evidence is clear! Ripple wants to drive the price down. So what should you do? It's easy! Start spreading FUD as soon as possible with as much force as possible. If good news drives the price down, FUD will surely bring it back up. At this moment we are severely lacking any FUD about Ripple and XRP. We, this community, must therefore take our responsibility and start spreading FUD as soon as possible! Happy 1st of April folks

Among all the team members, the graphic designer named “Kevin Belanger” stood out as he had an uncanny resemblance to the famous Hollywood star Ryan Gosling. https://viraldocks.com/ryan-gosling-cryptocurrency-ico/

  8. Hey all, I would just like to alert new investors to be careful with the following site https://ripple-cloud.com/ and its twitter https://twitter.com/RippleCloud I lost almost 1800 XRPs and it's something I do not with wish to anybody. I live in Mexico so its ~$55k - $60k Mexican pesos over here, amount that its not easy to come by. We talked about this on reddit and turns out there are a lot of people falling in this, probably its something bigger than we expect and it might not be just 1 guy making profits out of this but maybe a group of people. I'm new at this so I paid the consequences... This twitter offers a giveaway bonus if you open an account with them but turns out that when you transfer your XRPs to this "wallet", you are actually transferring your XRPs to somebody else wallet. This was the conversation on twitter: https://imgur.com/a/YSVdD And these are the links to the transactions: https://xrpcharts.ripple.com/#/transactions/655223AA99F89E0237FEACBC9A1F30535E6FA10F6BF301482CEBA67DE2543B3E https://xrpcharts.ripple.com/#/transactions/A8A92A1A6E9C3987A8EEA1CB71A85E721C8678D0F74B4B80B4076061FB08E00A https://xrpcharts.ripple.com/#/transactions/B4954902618B070D5DFF7CB0225AA36B71249D5889575A3A72D9E62B48976486 I didn't know why my balance was showing over a million XRPs in my balance but then one other guy explained thats because Im using an exchange account so it works like a concentrated account, that's why my address contains a destination tag but other than that it shows what I sent, 1770 XRPs lost in total. An user on reddit did some tracking of the wallet i sent my xrps to and came with an User Id from Poloniex ( user id 106230559 ) so a report to Poloniex support was already done just to alert about this. Sadly I'm not going to recover what I lost but I hope this be a warning for all of those new investors like me to just be careful out there. I'm also new at XRPchat so please let me know if I need to edit this post if I'm not able to share information, also if you need or want more information about this situation let me know. Good luck everyone!
  9. 13 days ago I sent ETH from Gatehub to Binance!!! They are nowhere!! I have sent messages to support, sent message on messenger to ENEJ(CEO) and their lawyer. I have also sent mails and messages to other people connected to Gatehub. No response what so f.... ever! I will consider to take legal action. Anybody her have the same experience?
  10. I have had a terrible experience with the xripplewallet.com. I exchanged some ETH for Xrp on December 17 and sent it to the wallet adddess. Even though the transaction was confirmed - I did it through changelly - and I can see it the blockchain , the coins never showed I the wallet. I tried to contact the support number to no avail. Finally I sent a couple of messages to the support email on site : office@xripplewallet.com that bounced back. And then they locked me out of the account and I cannot even get in the wallet . Obviously a scam and fraud operator. Please be aware of it . I saw a few other postings with similar experience. Unfortunately I realized that after I had already done it.
  11. Hi guys. I would just like to ask for a friend. Has any of you tried the https://ripplenet.io/ wallet? One of my friends put in his XRP in this wallet and apparently, they're not allowing him to withdraw the funds since he is "not verified", and to be verified, he needs to add more funds. It really sound like some sort of scam. Just wondering if any of you have any experience with them. Thanks!
  12. I'm still waiting for transaction to appear on blockchain Gatehub are scamming people and running off with the money. Apparently also Gatehub is dissolved since Dec. In any case you could at least respond to all those tickets and people out of millions. Worthless bastar dss! Give me back my funds !

    Beware Scam Exchange

BEWARE AND PASS THIS ON CryptoExchang - Bills themselves as Worlds Most Trusted. "Worlds Most Trusted Crypto Currency Exchange", who can neither spell EXCHANGE (It should have an E on the end) - Cannot spell TESTIMONIALS (Menus top & bottom say TESTMOINALS) , who links their social media icons to nothing but their own website and Google Maps shows their address as in the middle of an empty field. Haha nice try scammers. https://cryptoexchang.com/ripple.php
  14. Hi, I am new to using XRP, and I think I have done a mistake that lead to losing all the XRP I had. I got resembled with the thought of the lost money, but am curious of how did it happen? Some time ago I bought some XRP using Kraken, and played a bit around trying to understand how it worked. I would say I used at most half a day reading about Ripple (big mistake, should have spent longer time). I then downloaded the Ripple wallet from: https://github.com/ripplerm/ripple-wallet and used it to create an address. After a couple of transfers back and forth from Kraken, I felt confident of putting all the XRP I had in the account I created. I have then saved the public key, private key and seed in a text file, and forgot about them. Fast forward to yesterday, when I checked the account again, using the same wallet application. The XRP I had were gone (except the 20 that have to be on an account). I have tried to track where the money went using Bithomp. I can see that shortly after depositing the XRP, there were 3 transfers emptying the wallet. My wallet: rMYjDLLbJXcoFNcx5f7ZwW8qAaDvpx3K7C Foreign wallet: rLGAMEmYQMDV5uV8cyvcVUeCm9RcdSpQ1N What baffles me, is that the money only went into the foreign wallet, but not out of it. How can this happen? Was it converted into the 0.006 BTC on the foreign wallet? If yes, how come the exchange is not listed in the transfer history? Are there any other tools that are more comprehensible than Bithomp, that I could use to track the money?

  16. Is the Changelly xchange a Scam? On December 12, 2017 I submitted a transfer of BTC for XRP. For 3 days Changelly was saying that it's still "Sending to Wallet". After the process took 3 days on Dec 15, 2017 I received a response from support explaining there are some issues with XRP and that their engineers are "dealing with the issue without a break, so that I will receive my money as soon as possible". Later on that morning the Changelly webpage said the transaction was completed, I never recieved the XRP in my wallet. I checked the xrpcharts and receive "transaction not found" for the output transaction hash. Here is the hash: OUTPUT TRANSACTION HASH B9FAACF2A78F0F9A68D123B909132FF6C8E4E309C9881B937559F51263F4911B transaction not found Just wondering if this is normal? How can I get my XRP if the output hash in not valid? Thank you everyone! Please do yourself a favor and avoid using Changelly xchange
  17. Hi guys, I'm really concerned about gatehub. I just opened an account today and in order to buy some xrp i transferred eth to my wallet. It is 12 hours ago and I still can't see any incoming transfer/positive balance except for 20 xrp (which I can't use?!). I thought I would get some eth in my wallet with which I can buy xrp then? Right now I can't log-in any longer at gatehub.. Would be great if anybody could help me , thanks in advance!

  20. My wife and I just watched an interview with a guy by the name of Clif High *sounds like a pseudonym*. In this video, he calls XRP a "ponzi scheme" and states that "any coin that is not mineable raises red flags for me. XRP is pre-mined..." at which point I stopped really listening to what he said. This last statement alone shows that he has NO idea what XRP is about, yet, this video will circulate online as "truth" *and many people will take it as such* while spreading misinformation. https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@etcmike/clif-high-webbot-cryptocurrencies-versus-bankers Feel free to correct him.

  22. Be extremely cautious when someone is approaching you via Personal Message (PM). Social hackers are sighted at this forum! They are after your XRP or online funds. This has happened in the past too when prices suddenly sky-rocketed. More background on:
