Hello, i started yesterday again with the cryptocurrency after months of a break. Now i realised Rippex is not avaible anymore... I just have my passphrase, ripple adress and secret key. Is it possible to get my ripple back? i dont know if i saved any file of my ripple... which file format should it have?

Hello, I have the XRP client version 1.4.1 downloaded from 2016 with an unknown amount of XRP (could be in thousands, or hundreds) don’t remember. I have recovered secret keys with several thousand XRP earlier this year and this desktop wallet may hold the largest treasure however for years I haven’t been able to login to the client. The password and username I’m pretty sure I’ve tried every combo and still can’t access the client, it’s online mode and I know I should have got the secret key from it in the past and I might have but I need it unlocked just for peace of mind to make sure there’s not 10,000 XRP on my computer before I throw the computer away. Hello everyone, I am hesitant to make this post as i know i will kop a lot of hate but I have exhausted all options. Ill try to keep the story short. My old man has invested into ripple and has been a long term holder since June buying chunks of XRP when he can. He absolutely loves the project and doesn't stop talking about it. Today he came in pale as a sheep and said that his funds have gone he had about 12400 XRP all up. He was storing his ripple on a rippex wallet, which after doing some reading has stopped running its services. I dont think this would affect the balance of his account and looking at the transactions it looks like he may of been hacked :( this is his old address rDgrKAmfs5b3MusVk3aqRj8t6LyK6XnUHv. What makes it worse was these transactions happened back in June and while ripple had its run he was so excited for the future. He was literally unaware of what happened cause he's a hodler. Can any of you to help him reclaim his xrp from the hacker (we have contacted theft report and the binance and kraken exchange to where these funds had been sent). Binance have pretty much said meh we can't do anything until the authorities are involved. I have created a wallet for him on Toast (heard its a good one thoughts?). I got the mail that Rippex closes. I have a rippex desktop wallet wich only contains XRP. Is my wallet still useable after closing or not or should I get another desktop wallet?

Hi guys, This is my first post. I have bought some ripples and transferred them to my offline wallet provided by Ripped. When I logged in again it showed 0 ripples and the offline wallet has changed? I tried to contact them but they never reply. When I logged in the online Ripped account I can see the ripples there in the address that should have been on the offline wallet? I added both accounts and attempted to transfer, but in vain Can someone help please

Hello. I have my ripple address stored in my Ripple Desktop Wallet. The Ripple Desktop Wallet is going to be discontinued soon and I want to move my ripples (or the address and codes, however the hell it works) to a toast wallet. I am wondering if anyone can assist me with this? I do not want to setup a new wallet in toast as I don't want to burn another 20 XRP in the reserve. I want to just associate my current address to Toast. Is this possible? How do I do this exactly? I am not sure if I am correct or not but I understand that the ripples are not held in my wallets but rather the keys to my ripples, am I correct? If this is the case than I would assume that I can just simply house my keys in a different wallet and not pay another reserve and set up a brand new address? Thanks

What is the SAFEST way to transfer XRP from a Paper Wallet (Cold Storage) to Ledger Nano S WITHOUT EXPOSING my private key/s on the internet? This is my goal. 2.) Am I able to transfer XRP directly from the paper wallet (cold storage) to the Ledger Nano S OR will I be required to transfer the XRP to an intermediary desktop wallet first (such as RIPPEX or TOAST) and then transfer XRP from the intermediary wallet (such as RIPPEX or TOAST) to Ledger Nano S? FYI: I am not interested in using a hosted wallet such as Gatehub. 3.) Assuming that I need to transfer to an intermediary desktop wallet first (such as Rippex or Toast), is there a way to accomplish this WITHOUT EXPOSING my private key/s on the internet? how do I move my xrp from my ripple wallet to myetherwallet. I have put the xrp token in my etherwallet and want to move my xrp from my ripple wallet. When I enter my address of myetherwallet, my ripple wallet says I need a ripple address or contact. this is a big deal as rippex wants all tokens removed this month. thanks in advance

Purchased last AUG and been holding since. Huge fan of Ripple and XRP. When I purchased I scoured for desktop wallets. Could have sworn I read something from Ripple stating they endorsed Rippex. Today I came across this, "Ripple does not endorse, recommend, or make any representations with respect to digital wallets. It’s advisable to always conduct your own due diligence before trusting money to any third party or third-party technology." https://ripple.com/insights/top-9-frequently-asked-questions-ripple-xrp/ Did I miss or misunderstand something? Again, I could of swore Ripple endorsed Rippex last AUG, now seems like they don't want any liability whatsoever. Anyone else have the same/similar experience? Should I be worried for using Rippex? Pros and cons? Thx!

Trawling through reddit seems like I'm not the first to experience problems with this wallet. I've transferred enough XRP into my desktop wallet to be worried about getting a solution. FIRST PROBLEM: I can access the read only wallet with my ripple address and see my balance there absolutely fine but I cannot log back into my account. I haven't been able to since I first logged out as it hasn't created a local wallet file on my Mac (or at least I can't find one, and I've searched everywhere...multiple times). This means I can't log in with my wallet + password combo. That would be fine as I have my secret key... BUT SECOND PROBLEM When I go to create a new account on my ripple desktop wallet with my secret key, I can't click on the 'Create new account' button (screenshot attached). It's like I'm locked out for some reason. This is 100% the correct secret key, it was copied to a text file, photographed and written down. It's right but for some reason I can't log back into my account. I've opened a ticket with Rippex but as of yet nothing. Has anyone got any suggestions because I cannot understand why I can't get in with my secret key?

Hi, So i'm fairy new to dealing with cryptocurrencies but decided to buy some XRP through Kraken and then transfer through to a cold wallet in Rippex. I managed to transfer over 25 XRP successfully as a test amount, and then proceeded to transfer the rest of my purchased XRP to the same address. I then saw that Kraken took a few minutes to say success, however my funds have yet to arrive in my Rippex account. The first transfer only took around 5 minutes to fully complete. Has anyone else had this issue? Is there anyway i can get my XRP back? Thanks for the help.

I understand that there is a minimum of 20 xrp to activate the wallet. So I sent 22 ripple as a test and minus the little fee it says I have 1.75 xrp available. Understandable, I get that. So I proceed to send over 70 xrp to the wallet. Wait a few minutes. Cleared. Beautiful. Then I wonder, well what if I want to send out some ripple to an exchange or some other xrp wallet? So I do a test send to my Binance wallet and attempt to send 3 xrp. It says I have insufficient funds. I can however send 1 xrp. But I have over 70 xrp, not including the 20 for the holding fee. I look over to the balance tab and says I have a total of 70.42900 xrp, and under that stating the 20 reserve. However, it says I only have 1.75 available. Can someone explain this? How do I not have over 50 xrp available but instead only 1.75 xrp? Is there a minimum to send? I included a screen shot if it helps. I'm quite new to this. Would appreciate some feedback. Please advise. Thank you!

I would like to know if it's possible to migrate an old ripple trade wallet to Rippex. I know there are instructions to do this on Gatehub, but they are not accepting my user/pass info, and I'd rather migrate to Rippex if possible. Is it as simple as create account with secret key? Will the funds from my old wallet just show up? Are there certain settings I should place on the account before hand? Thanks

Hi All, I would really appreciate some help with this issue I am having. I downloaded the Rippex wallet for Mac. Created an account and saved my wallet file. There is no file in that location anymore, and I can only access my account in read only mode, using my Ripple address. In this mode I am unable to send Ripple out of my wallet. If anyone knows a solution to this issue, please let me know. Thanks in advance, mas123

Hi all, I'm having a big issue with Rippex the XRP software wallet, It creates a corrupted wallet 1 times on 3 on my computer when using my microsoft OneDrive/Boxcryptor folder and the problem is that I trusted this wallet and already transferred XRP to it and now I can't login to it... I think if someone could help me debug it (Javascript/C++) and echo/print what happens to the password when it is written to the wallet file then I could reproduce this bug to my actual password and finally decrypt my wallet file and get back my XRP, what do you think? Of course I would pay for this job. PS : I did not write down the secret key, I was in full trust for Rippex like I trusted Exodus or Nano Ledger S.

Hello, Panic! I have created an Rippex account and transferred 205 XRPs from Koinex exchange to Rippex account. The transfer is successful, the XRPs are deducted from Koinex exchange. But when i login to Rippex its not logging in it says "Login failed: Wallet file or password is wrong." The password and wallet i am entering is perfectly fine... PS: i have lost my security key... Is there any way i can recover the account? Thanks a lot in advance.

Hi. Would not being validated on Rippex.net prevent me from logging into my rippex desktop wallet? When I say log in I mean on the tab that says "Open Account" as opposed to the Cold Wallet or Read Only Mode. Those two tabs I can use and see my balance, but when I try to log into the main (left) tab it says incorrect password, even though I wrote it down carefully... I think I did it backwards. I installed the wallet, sent some XRP to it, and only after that created an account on rippex.net. It's been 9 days and I am waiting for validation. I assume that when I'm validated I will have full access to the XRPs in the wallet(?). If not I guess I made a mistake writing down the PW...

OK, I am sure this has been covered, but I cannot find it so I will ask while everyone is smiling at $2! Anyhow, just received my Ledger Nano S. Going to verify it, then transfer from exchange. In the meantime, I have activated with a Rippex wallet. Can I transfer that activated wallet and the 20xrp to my Nano, or is that 20 XRP gone, and I must activate again on the Nano? Hi all...new XRP-er...umm...XRP-ee...not sure which is right...haha...anyway just a few questions about the Rippex wallet. So, I'm buying ETH on coinbase, sending it to Binance, converting to XRP and sending back to my Rippex wallet. Since you can take it off-line doesn't that make it a "cold wallet" when you want it to be? Now, should my computer crash, can I reinstall the wallet and use the secret key to get my XRP back? Or is it not that simple. I notice there is a file that sits on my desktop and I've tried to move it, but when I do it will not let me log in, it has to stay on my desktop. I've noticed some people saying about moving files to a USB drive, how would I do that? Or does it matter because of the off-line mode? Thanks for the help! I'm in at .98, 1.12 and 1.17 for about 500 XRP...looking to buy more on a dip if we ever get one...haha.

Ok so it has been 7 days now since I tried to create an account with rippex. I have the rippex wallet downloaded with my xrp safely stored... But what's with the actual rippex site verification process?? I haven't even received a confirmation email stating I signed up. Anyone else?

I finally decided to venture into ripple today after months of going the easy route and sticking to BTC, ETH, and LTC through Coinbase. I set up a Rippex account, transferred and exchanged some ETH through Binance, and sent back to my Ripple wallet. Sounded easy enough until the last step. When I signed up for my Rippex wallet, a screen came up and showed my password, Rippex wallet address, and Secret Key. I actually have a screenshot of that window so I know I have my addresses right. I sent the XRP to the address, it processed and went through. I logged into my wallet and that's when it all went wrong. It says account not activated until I deposit 20 XRP, no big deal I knew this was a thing. So I thought maybe it was going to take a while. A long time later and still nothing, I started to look closer and I noticed the address it wanted me to deposit the 20 XRP to was not where I sent my transaction. I double checked my screen shot of my account setup and I did not mess up. I sent it to the right address but at some point in the process Rippex changed my wallet address, I have a screenshot confirming this. I'm not claiming malicious intent but maybe some error. I can view my address and account through a cold wallet search on the Rippex desktop program and the XRP is there, but my login keeps taking me to a different wallet. I went back through the wallet creation process and created one using the secret key hoping it would pull the Ripple out of the first account into a new one, but no luck. I have two wallets created by Rippex on my computer, neither of which are the address of what Rippex originally gave me and what I sent my XRP to. If I have the screenshot, address, and secret key to where my XRP is sitting, is there a way to manually pull it out. Right now, the Rippex interface isn't helpful at all, except to prove that my XRP are in the right place where I sent them. Can anybody provide any advice?

Hey, I downloaded the rippex wallet and it is the only wallet I have used since I started buying XRP months ago (for xrp). I want to be sure I understand what I am working with from a security standpoint. When I log in to rippex.com from any device, I can see my ripple wallet address. I can’t see my actual wallet balance anywhere, right? I recall, when I installed the desktop wallet I placed a file somewhere and backed up some phrase or maybe the private key? I am wondering when I send XRP to my wallet address - usually Coinbase ETH > Changelly > XRP> my wallet....where is the XRP if my mac where the desktop wallet resides I’d offline? Can I see my wallet balance publically somewhere? I assume the only way I would be able send or “spend” XRP would be from that desktop wallet client? I am not sure what rippex.com is vs. the rippex desktop client wallet? If I choose to buy a hardware wallet, is it as simple as “sending” from my current rippex desktop wallet to the new hardware wallet? thanks for for any input or help.
