  1. So when will it happen? When will I get rich owning my XRP´s. My Zerps? Sarcasm, irony and a lot of other words are allowed to be used in answers.
  2. Let's play a game shall we... Say you are me and I am you and we do all the things we do... Then, in as little as or less than 115 days you, me, anyone with a good amount of XRP could be seeing prices that are against all the FUD today. You may experience wealth very fast, and perhaps overnight. Could you handle that? Are you ready for that? It's more difficult that you may think. Nobody knows and these realistic view points may be accurate but, I have witnessed what seems as reality become a fallacy... Overnight. One does not assume anyone would perpetuate nefarious tactics and propaganda that could in fact be being shoved in our faces and some, well... Don't know better. Ignorance, is a side effect of controlled opposition. Cognitive dissonance is a by-product It's like wondering why most fast food conglomerates use "red & blue" as their logo colors or why almost every celebrity covers an eye for a photoshoot. Excite and depress. Ever feel calm when the police light 'em up behind you? Excite and depress...over and over Those of us that are viewing things without blinders and at a very wide perspective come off as misunderstood or even crack pots. Lunatics. Imagine how I feel about the masses. ....wear my glasses We know money is going digital. We know everyone will accept it. We will prove that with our wallets. Donald Trump has already said that the playing field will be leveled. February 2017 Every transaction will be tracked and the world wide web will become monetized. (World Wide Web, "W", "W", "W",... The sixth letter of the Hebrew alphabet is "Vav" which represents the letter "w" in the American English alphabet... I've said enough). What does a web do to other insects... Why is Facebook so popular when it is so pointless... People spend whole days on Facebook... As if they are caught in a "web"... And it doesn't have to be one website, it could be many... We know XRP is capable of capturing all transactions and it is only beginning. Call me a sell out, or whatever you will but, I have screamed and fought everyone to put the glasses on. I know what I shouldn't know and it has set me free. Now I am sharing it Because sharing is caring... XRP = HODL
  3. The Colony: Origin of the XRP Legion “My Queen, we are ready,” said General Ant, while bowing to Her Majesty who he and all in the ant kingdom hold in the highest respect. “How many do we have, General?” asks a queen deeply absorbed in thought. “One hundred billion, your Highness,” reported the general in a gentle tone that exhibited unquestionable loyalty. No doubt he would give up his life a hundred times over as he gazed at his commander-in-chief with great adoration. It was the total opposite of the authoritative voice he uses when speaking to the colony on behalf of the Queen Mother. “I would have wanted more but as you all know,” said the Queen as she looked towards her council, “I am not as young as I used to be and there will be no more. Perhaps a young male can stimulate me again,” she chuckled. The rest of the audience smiled politely and glanced at each other knowing it is no longer possible for the Queen to lay eggs. The truth is a normal queen mates once in her lifetime of thirty years and lays a hundred thousand eggs a day for three decades. But Queen Natassia, against her royal physician’s warnings, ingested a special fertilizing brew that enhanced her childbearing rate close to eleven million babies every day for twenty-five years. Coupled with numerous artificial inseminations, the whole process had taken a heavy toll on her once curvaceous frame and youthful beauty. Outside, the immense palace grounds stretched as far as the eyes can see -- from an ant’s eyes, that is. The black Garden Ant colony is located on an ant-made embankment several inches above a flowing stream on its west border. The wall is made from compacted clay dug up and transferred diligently by their ancestors, and years of exposure to the scorching sun had baked it solid. For generations, this barricade has kept them safe from rising water levels. As a precaution from the colony’s Department of Public Works, several flood control channels were dug around and under the settlement. In the event of a massive flood, water will run into these large basins and either be collected into pools or diverted away. Eventually, any excess water will drain back into the stream. Surrounding the colony are contiguous hillocks tall enough to protect the ants from natural calamities and predators. On top of each peak are watch towers equipped with long-range artillery and signaling devices. The humongous anthill’s height measures five hundred and seven worker ants when taking a conservative average length of four millimeters per worker ant into the calculations. One may easily argue that this balancing act of standing upright on each ant’s shoulder is a feat comparable to the mound itself. At the base, a circular line of one thousand three hundred forty-five adult ants plus a day-old baby ant, thrown in just for precision, equals its circumference. All the hype from the great pyramids of Giza pale in comparison to the engineering skill of ants. Picturesque as the land above is, the mini mountain conceals a massive subterranean world. Mazes of tunnels woven into an elaborate network of chambers, pathways, and exits. These caverns extend so wide and deep in the ground that it is difficult to imagine the colossal home of a hundred billion ants. Architectural feats like this take time to build and worthy purposes can’t be rushed. North of the garden ant colony live the Carpenter Ants who are about two to three times larger in size but move slower. There are not a lot of them but each one is very strong and can pull a leaf filled with, if one really took the time to count, 7,350 grains at a time. The record for the heaviest load is 20,000 grains. An achievement that was short-lived because the leaves sewn together to haul all that weight ripped apart at the seams. The carpenter ants have bragging rights on being the first to establish a colony in the forest. As the leading trailblazer, they have, on a number of occasions, wildly thrown their weight around! One funny thing about them is their misplaced belief that they can travel undetected whereas the BGSF, the Black Garden Special Forces, have been tracking their movements for years. Not that it was a difficult task given the carpenter ant’s max speed of seven miles per hour. Both Mobile Defense and the Scout Ranger divisions of the BGSF have approximated their numbers between 17 million to 21 million carpenter ants. Way down south of the stream is another community. A hodgepodge of mixed insects living together. Groups of nomadic ants and bugs of various ethnicities and origins meeting, sharing and co-living together in a unique ecosystem. It works for their lifestyle. While mostly interesting and real innovations have emanated from there, one has to be cautious of some dodgy schemes. “I heard they were recently overrun by a kitty infestation,” whispered a junior member of the Queen’s Guard. Her sister-at-arms remarked, “True. Researchers are still trying to pinpoint what caused the explosive feline breeding frenzy that caught everyone unprepared.” “As you all know,” the Queen suddenly spoke. “Many years ago, an outsider was found washed ashore at the edge of the cold stream. Beside him lay a large, tattered and wet duffel bag with an unrecognizable spherical mark. Inside the bag were pieces of rotting grains. He was, at the time, perhaps, 12-13 years old.” In the ant world, that is like 80-90 years compared to humans. “Near-death, we nursed his malnourished body back to health and accepted him into our colony. As he grew stronger, he narrated stories of his travels over many distant lands. Jonathan is his name, an old and weary ant, his long graying hair displayed his age. He somberly spoke of the many perils and high costs he’s had to endure but he was committed to his cause - to bring grain to other colonies. There were many of them. His parents, grandparents, and other relatives all doing the same task in the same way for 45 years. Most of them are gone due to a method of grain distribution that was dangerously outdated. As a young ant, he was stout and speedy. But time bows to no ant and his legs and back could no longer carry the original load. Tidbits of grain would fall out of his bag as he journeyed losing a significant portion of his cargo, much to his frustration. He was lucky to have survived his lengthy voyages if you can call his deep scars lucky. His left mandible was crushed when, during a storm, his leaf smashed onto the sea rocks. Now, he can only eat by tilting his head to his right side. Our doctors also had no choice but to amputate two of his legs when we found him. Sadly, he is swift no more. Jonathan eventually moved to the east side of our colony, closer to the woodlands and away from curious visitors, to live out the remainder of his life.” The Queen continued, “His stories were both fascinating and ridiculous at the same time. Loss of grain and loss of lives that we are not accustomed to due to our fertile lands and good governance is unfathomable. I was a sheltered child princess who knew nothing about how hard food came by and this affected me deeply. Since then, I resolved to create an XRP Ant Legion whose mission is to ferry grain from our land over the stream faster and better than any system currently known.” When the garden ants first moved in decades ago, the stream had always been the source of their fresh water. Its strong current serves both as protection for the colony as well as a barrier to progress. Trade with other ant colonies is extremely difficult and many ants have lost their lives attempting to ride the rapids. A bridge is impossible to build with the width of the stream measuring seven hundred and fifty black ants lined up from head to tail and not a living soul knows how deep it is. Also, there are no dry seasons to take advantage of. Further on, the main stream divides into many smaller channels separating several land masses from one another. With acknowledgement from the Queen, the General takes the floor. “Our scientists had established that 100 billion ants are needed to make this vision successful. Each ant in the army is capable of physically carrying 65/1000th of a grain. But with new technology such as the magic backpack, it is now possible to increase the carrying load to approximately half a grain. Future plans are improvements to the leaf barge and sails made from fresh fruit skins. Both advancements will increase the capacity and speed of each legionnaire.” The General continues, “It is our mission to improve the movement of grain to other lands. Our responsibility to help those who are hungry and clinging to high fees in order to eat!” “Legionnaires, are you reEAADDYYY?!” shouted the General. “AWOOOOOHH!!!” a deafening roar made from a hundred billion ant body parts rubbing together. “What happened then, Grandpa?” asked Audric, a wide-eyed, energetic two-year old dangling at the end of every word of a mesmerizing history lesson. It is interesting to note as well that black garden ants normally have a lifespan of up to fifteen years. Grandpa Ant smiled and thoughtfully recounted the event as they both leisurely sat on a smooth rock submerged in a hot spring atop a cliff overlooking the vast stream and the busy docks below. Today was somewhat cloudy in the early afternoon. The air was chilly so Gramps decided it would be enjoyable to spend the rest of the day immersed in a natural steam bath. “No one really knew how or where to begin,” said a contentedly soaked Grandpa. “We started with lines formed near the edge of the stream.” Pointing a leg to where it all started and moving it farther and farther back. “It was a very, very, very long line.” “Worker ants handed out fragments of grain to the legionnaires who placed their small stash in their backpacks knowing that each valuable package will feed someone on the other side. The soldier ants then take their individual leaf and ride it much like paddle surfing to different destinations,” said Grandpa. “It was a sight to see. When the weather cooperated, ant lines formed over the calm stream as each ant encouraged the ant in front and the ant behind to propel forward using their forest-grown paddles. Ripples formed as the firmly held twig-like oars struck the water. Multiple lines spanned beyond the horizon via the water channels.” “Why so many different directions?” Audric asked. “Different areas needed to be reached in order to benefit all of antkind. Once a group of XRP ants reached their destination, our Queen allowed them to join the new colony and the other queen can order them to other destinations delivering their variety of grain,” explained Grandpa. “Did every new colony quickly accept our XRP ants?” wondered Audric. “Well, not for a while. There were a lot of naysayers and other ants who tried their own way of delivering grain. Most were too slow while others charged high fees and still others who ran away with their cargo or lost it. Nevertheless, there were dedicated ants who believed in the legion with unwavering conviction. The turning point came when the much larger and influential colonies finally decided our delivery system was the only sensible solution. With our low cost, speed, and reliability, the XRP Legion is unmatched,” Grandpa proudly said. “Oh, and don’t get me started on those red ants who imitated our legion, even birthing 100 billion ants of their own,” rolling his eyes, Grandpa waved the thought away with a front leg. “I WANT TO BE AN XRP LEGIONNAIRE TOO!” proclaimed the little one. Grandpa’s face then turned serious. “In most deliveries, an ant or a few would get separated from the lot and swept downstream, never to be seen again. Drowning also happened when the winds picked up causing swirling vortices that sucked ants into the depths. Worse, if torrents happened, the ants were instructed to roll up tightly into a floating ball, ride the waves, and start praying. “ “Won’t we run out of XRP ants?” questioned an anxious Audric. “Not to worry, there are still 99,991,886,995 legionnaires. And, in the last five years, thanks to advances in exoskeleton suits, water and air transport technology, the legion’s losses are almost negligible. The struggles of carrying the grain over the stream are less risky now. Each legionnaire can easily carry 589 grains. More important than the thriving cross-colony trade is the significant improvement in the ant world’s daily lives,” continued Grandpa. Audric sighed with relief and nodded excitedly in approval. His eyes fixed on the activities below, multitude of ants were coming and going from the stream and the air with hardly any traffic. Each ant’s movements are so fast and well-coordinated that he muttered to himself, “What a marvel.” “Grandpa?” “Yes, Audric?” “Maybe if I become a scientist or engineer, I can make new stuff for ants to carry a thousand grains each.” “You sure can, Audric. And much more,” said Grandpa with soothing assurance. Audric turns his gaze longingly over the cliff, past the shores below, over the stream and beyond, dreaming of the day he will be part of helping ants send and receive grain quickly, safely, and cheaply. A year later, back in the kingdom’s royal court, the elder Queen had moved on to other equally important matters with a younger yet mature Queen taking the helm of advancing the XRP legion to the rest of the world. The General also passed on his role to a highly regarded crypto-ant to not only technically guide the kingdom and community but also take steps to increase trade volume. “Audric, bring over the latest schematics for the updated ion-drive cargo shuttle,” called the elderly crypto-ant. The boy ant, now nine years old, has been his eager assistant for the last six years. Advances in XRP tech had grown by leaps and bounds way beyond any ant could have imagined – full-body mech suits, hover ships, orbital stations, and all the other goodies. “Coming, Grandpa,” Audric prints out and hurries over with rolls of classified documents marked version 99.23.07-b4. Grandpa is old-style like that and still prefers to deal with paper. No longer a greenhorn, the intellectual apprentice subtly inserts extra sheets of a personal project he had been keenly working on -- technical designs for a quantum teleporter that can achieve faster-than-light transfer of information. It’s going to be just another typical late-night work as a full earth shone brightly amongst the stars and over a newly constructed moon outpost. Years of steadfastly running a space marathon and collaborative work from the home planet’s League of Colonies resulted in the successful lunar landing of the XRP legionnaires nine months earlier. As Grandpa burned the proverbial midnight oil reviewing the papers, his eyes widened as he browsed over Audric’s thesis. A smile breaks over Grandpa’s face. Déjà vu, this moment feels so ardently familiar when he, himself, in a defining point in his life, and as Audric had just revealed, discovered his life’s purpose -- surfing the cosmic currents for instant and frictionless interplanetary movement in the grain trade. ----- THE END ----- CREDITS 1) The author gives due credit to the images used in this story to their respective owners. 2) Each image was carefully selected from the internet by using Google’s image filter – “labeled for reuse”. a. https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Anthill.jpg b. https://www.tripadvisor.com.ph/LocationPhotoDirectLink-g48377-d6212903-i192208849-Channing_H_Philbrick_Park-Penfield_Finger_Lakes_New_York.html c. https://www.publicdomainpictures.net/en/view-image.php?image=110903&picture=black-ant-hill-pine-needles d. https://www.space.com/31422-earthrise-photo-nasa-moon-probe.html (Credit: NASA/Goddard/Arizona State University) STORY CHARACTERS Elder Queen Young Queen General Grandpa Ant, Crypto-ant Black Garden Ant Colony Subterranean world BGSF Jonathan Audric XRP Legion Carpenter Ants Southside Colony Naysaying ants Red Ants Queen’s Guard … a few more REFERENCES Grain Weight of Grain Takes time to build / worthy pursuits can’t be rushed Spherical mark Carrying load per XRP Legionnaire Throw weight around 7 mph Kitty Swirling vortex Pools, currents, rapids, spring, via League of Colonies Ants who believed Large influential colonies Backpack, leaf boats, sails, suits, ion-drive shuttle, molecular teleporter Moon colony, interplanetary trade Schematics version number Space marathon Earth’s United Colonies … some more
  4. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/another-day-another-50-million-205554590.html I hate these stories. But, it's things like this that show you that crypto is still pre dot com burst. We need to get some kind of regulation that shuts down scammers, and results in the crypto space consolidating into the legit tokens with real businesses. The sooner we do that then the sooner XRP becomes the next AMZ.
  5. Don’t know if this was posted before, but if not this could be useful.
  6. Sorry if this has been posted or is even old news (pretty sure it's not though) It looks like Walmart have done a deal with Moneygram no less:- https://hadeplatform.com/articles/2018/04/04/how-walmart-nyse-wmt-could-send-ripple-xrp-to-the-moon
  7. First of all. If there's a group like this already planning such event, more info please. If not, lets plan the event I've got xrp in escrow and is going to be released in april 2020...just in time to prepare and the event, you know lambo, space ship and that stuff xD
  8. Did anyone else notice increasing volume and price action the last hours ? Is this Coinbase speculation (again) ? Is it just a pump and dump ? Are we mooning again !?
  9. Great read! http://galgitron.net/Post/When-MOON
  10. Everyone keeps mentioning to the Moon, just a bit of fun what is your moon price? For me any thing over $100 and I'm a moon millionaire.
  11. XRP/JPY second position volume.
  12. Edit1 : Need your suggestion: I prefer historic or artistic site. And taste the best coffee on the road. London --> Paris --> Zurich(several places) --> Florence --> Rome. ------------------------------------- Just FYI. I booked a travel to Europe in May as I got some easy money by XRP. I can't do this if there is no XRP. So just HODL and your little/small/medium/big dream will all come true.
  13. connect two dots: 1 SBI virtual currency list XRP exclusively. SBI virtual site mentioned institutional investors. Refer: http://sbivc.co.jp 2 Brad mention that Japan is special that its domestic cross bank transfer is similar to world cross border transfer. very inefficient!! Refer: yahoo interview youtube. So predict: Japan will roll out xRapid for domestic cross bank transfer using XRP in Q1 2018 after SBI start trading XRP. just my 0.2 XRP.
  14. 15mil (average SWIFT transactions per day) x 365 days is 5.4tril annually. 5.4tril annual transactions consumes 54mil XRP, and that's just from SWIFT alone (Visa processes over 8.9tril transactions annually, which will consume 89mil XRP). For example, Western Union charges a fee of $5 for a simple wire transfer of $50. I can't even imagine the SWIFT fee's on wires in the millions of dollars. 1XRP can facilitate 100k reference transactions. Due to scarcity + volume (not even including subjective market value) it's not unrealistic that 1XRP could become worth upwards of $1,000 or more based on the amount of money saved on SWIFT fee's alone. What do you all think? Maybe $1,000 is low-balling XRP's potential.
  15. investors are waking up; this is only the beginning...
  16. Buckle up people - Go fo. Someone somewhere just made a huge investment on XRP. This could be a business staging for real time use. Thats a huge buy...... 17. Hello all! My first post here, just wanted a throw out a question that isn't a totally mindless question like "Will xrp ever hit $10?". Let's pretend the price of one xrp is $5, or $10...What would that really mean across the whole landscape? What would it imply, would that mean xrp would need more use cases than just liquidity? Besides the obvious answer that many of you may be able to fly to the moon, I think not only would it imply that xrp has become the standard for most cross border payments as a source of liquidity but also being used for P2P or P2B cases. I understand the whole supply vs. marketcap thing but it's honestly not a concern of mine. I think the banks will be too tempted not to be able to save money by using the xrapid method. Even for domestic payments, if the cost to use something like Venmo or cashapp is dramatically reduced by use of xrp, wouldn't everyone say yes I want that. There seems to me to be many factors that could drive the price up to 5 or 10, but what is the most likely or unlikely? Hope any of that makes sense!!!
  18. Hi guys I already bought some xrp at around 0.17€. I am happy about the price trend in the first place but on the other hand I am planning to buy more xrp. My plan was to do it before that xbt hardfork .. but i haven’t. So guys now my question, what do you predict for the next coming weeks? Is that trend going to the moon or can I wait for some lower price to invest? I know 2018 will be the year for ripple - the time runs.
  19. Hello All, I have a long shot question. I have about 11,000 zerps and I hope to become millionaire one day. So I been thinking that maybe it is possible - given that in my opinion XRP price will reach 1-2$ in 2018, 5-10$ by 2023, and 50-150$ by 2035 (if Ripple and XRP complete their vision) Should I be considered crazy and put in an asylum or we speaks some sense (especially dollar inflation) What the members think ?!? Thank You in Advance !!!
  20. I reckon it'll reach at least $3 by January. Exponential growth aligns with exponential fundamental technological growth. Over 100 financial institutions signed up and multiple have already started using XRP? $3 is on the low end.
  21. I ordered XRP MOON plates tonight. XRP HODL is still available. I was torn between the two. I felt more people might get the "to the moon" part than HODL. There is a half-space between XRP and MOON. The DMV requires you to explain what your custom plate means. I proudly typed in "Ripple to the moon! (Cryptocurrency price that is about to skyrocket)". Think this will go viral? (=
  22. Some of you may recall a post I made some time ago (and for some reason can no longer find) were I advocated sending XRP to the moon. Literally. Background. Someone (I think it was @Dizer?) said they would be willing to front some sort of publicity stunt for XRP. This lead to how Doge sponsored a race car which lead to some creative ideas for things XRP could be used to sponsor/ promote. I stumbled across Astrobotic's (one of the Google X Challengers) and their offering of MoonBox. Essentially its a glorified time time capsule that will be hitched to Astrobotic's moon lander and left on the moon. The smallest capsule is more than big enough to send a paper wallet loaded with XRP (turned into a blackhole account and perhaps preloaded with the amount totalling the year it was sent). Fast forward to today. Just got a email update (apparently I signed up for updates back in the day) saying there is now a firm launch date for 2019, 50 years after Apollo 11. The smallest capsule costs $460, or about 2659 XRP. Maybe add another 2019 XRP as the wallet amount. Just saying... To the MOON! Can be literal.
