Hey XRPChat, I noticed this was announced today on the @MicrosoftAU Twitter page and figured it would eventually be posted on XRPChat but I am yet to see it. Please follow link to read the article - https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/microsoft-and-swift-make-azure-cloud-native-payments-a-reality/?ocid=AID729842_oo_spl100000343099791 So much is happening at the moment, with all the partnerships and announcements etc. that I can't recall if this has previously been announced and now verified at SIBOS. I would be interested to know the forum's thoughts on this POC partnership. Thanks XRPRam

Another week, another shakeout of all the weak hands... I ask you?...Which other crypto has their own confrence? Sibos would have limited Ripple severely...they had no option BUT to go for the jugular. Remember Vitalik wanted to work at Ripple before he founded ethereum! Bill Gates giving his approval for Ripple- WOW! The father of the interner Sir Tim Brenner's Lee also did the same-UNBELIEVABLE!!! ......AND.........the price dropped....lol...you know what they say about dumb money.... As brad referenced to in his Q and A session- institutional investors will be coming in on mass eventually.. Happy Hodling! https://themarketmogul.com/ripple-internet-money/

I couldn’t pay a ton of attention to SWELL but from what I gathered (please correct me anywhere I’m wrong) there seems to be some possible hidden hype/relationship around Ripple's Interledger Protocol, Microsoft and Ethereum. ——— Pre-SWELL Marley Gray of Microsoft “Ripple starts to make a lot of sense especially when you throw the Interledger Protocol into the mix. At the end of the day, the thing underlying all of these applications and smart contracts (Ethereum) is payments.” ”In all of these interactions, you’ll have to move money around. So you will need Ripple for that. We see Ripple and ILP becoming part of the fabric of this multi-chain reality.” Source: https://ripple.com/insights/microsofts-marley-gray-ripple-and-ilp-will-be-the-fabric-of-multi-chain-future/ ——— SWELL 1) Bill Gates Gates Foundation partnership 2) Vitalik Buterin "You may want to have digital assets that are based on one chain to be usable on another chain. You may want contracts that are on one chain to be able to send funds to other chains." 3) Stefan Thomas Anyone else see the connection between Ripple, Ethereum and Microsoft?

My latest blog entry talks about the W3C working group for payment requests, along with some interesting XRP wallet statistics and SWELL. There's been some crypto buzz around the "payment request" standard for browsers; I discuss this a bit and then talk about some XRP wallet statistics recently published by some XRP developers on Twitter; I think the numbers are fascinating. Let me know what you think, and please feel free to share my blog on other media.
