How's it going guys, good to a see a community like this.. Seems like you guys all have your head screwed on the correct way.. Well at least I hope we all do as far as investment goes, anyway I just want to ask a small but relative question, does anyone know or have a idea why ripple/xrp are so silent in the last few months.. I would assume a organisation this paramount and with this much gossip and apparent large moves with banks etc would not only be so media quite but also why the actual coin is not making a lot of momentum, I'm assuming a large part of it is to do with the law suit they have and once cleared ripple will soar but also I've not actually seen or heard of any big moves to implemented crypto to a friendly user market! Obviously the viable option would. maybe be coin base at the moment but surely for the future a system has to be put in place I.e platform like say PayPal but implemented from a crypto currency user friendly base's I appreciate any in site were all ripple family here ?

Not a big deal I guess, but I just noticed coindesk.com added XRP to their price monitor besides BTC and ETH. Interesting they skipped Bitcoin Cash.

Hi guys , something just came to my mind. What do you think of: Ripple to announce a "XRP Research Reward Program" - open to everyone (private persons, scientists, professional researchers, journalists etc), people can send a copy of their masterpiece/article/writeup to a specific Ripple mailbox. - once every month, Ripple pre-selects the 5 most insightful/interesting - Ripple let's the community vote the winner - the winner is going to be rewarded with, let's say 100k XRP or so. It's a strong, ongoing incentive for people to familiarize with the concept of XRP, do a high quality analysis, and advertize their masterpiece in the voting process - but most importantly, it's fun! cc'ing @JoelKatz @nikb @warpaul for thoughts
