If coinbase are looking for a safer bet, is Stellar a safer bet than ripple? Ripple invest their xrp in hedge funds and other investments that are vulnerable to an economic collapse of the us stock market, bonds etc. whats your thoughts? If they have xrp invested in the stock market and the stock market crashes, they will loose a lot of money right? Watch the video all the way through to understand what im saying!

According to Bleeping Computer's calculations, as of writing, the attacker collected 669,920 Lumens, which is about $400,192 at the current XML/USD exchange rate. https://m.slashdot.org/story/336101 https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/hackers-hijack-dns-server-of-blackwallet-to-steal-400-000/

Opened an account over 1 week ago on Bittrex bittrex.com. I have put all my information, sent in my ID and selfie photo. Set up Google Authentication. I can transfer BTC and XRP in but I can't withdraw anything until they do whats called Enhanced Verification. Everything is stuck in Bittrex and can't withdraw anything. Does anyone have any info on what they are doing with my information? Are they calling the IRS? What is the timeline to get Enchanced Verification to withdraw? I'm about ready to drive to Las Vegas where there corporate HQ is located to get some answers. Starting to get mad as hell at them! Other Exchanges I have been verified and can do withdraws or whatever I need to do.

a man named Lund said one time .......... "the banks use of Stellar’s digital currency is likely to be temporary. He predicts that, in the next year, central banks will begin issuing digital currencies of their own, and that these will become an integral part of blockchain-based money transfers." I emphasis " """""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" central banks will begin issuing digital currencies""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""

I thought this price jump in STR was the normal, "Hey we used to be related to XRP so we're worth something too." pump and dump routine that happens whenever there's good news for XRP. When it just kept going up I started googling and still nothing. Then I switched to the past 24 hours and find that IBM just partnered with Stellar to use not their software but their token for cross boarder payments throughout the pacific region. They are supposedly going to handle 60% of the money transfers in 7 countries. WTF? Why did they pick Stellar and how big of a blow is this for XRP? https://www.coindesk.com/ibms-stellar-move-tech-giant-use-lumen-cryptocurrency-payments-rail/ I don't understand how or why this happened.

I've been procrastinating on what to do with my "gifted" lumens from the Stellar giveaway to legacy XRP holders, and I noticed a bunch of red on coinmarketcap so I thought I'd better get some information if I want any value from them. I know I can trade them on Polo or Bittrex, but does anybody know if they're listed on any other exchanges? Just curious. Thanks for any info....

untilClaim lumens: XRP holders On June 27th we will provide a link to the claim page, which will walk you through the simple process. In addition to distributing lumens to bitcoin holders, we have also reserved 1% of the initial lumens (1 billion) to holders of XRP. For XRP, we took a snapshot of the ripple ledger 6,762,000 (a ledger occurring May 22nd 2014). Any ripple account holder with less than 7.5 million XRP (~$50,000 USD at that time) in their account at that ledger qualifies for the giveaway. Every qualified XRP holder can participate in either one of two ways: 1) Pro-rata: Similar to the bitcoin holders, eligible XRP holders may receive their pro-rata share of lumens allocated to this giveaway (1%) and be credited for up to 1.5 million XRP. 2) Donation: Eligible XRP holders may also donate up to 1.5M XRP to a selection of charities and receive an equal amount of lumens in return. https://www.stellar.org/blog/bitcoin-claim-lumens-2/

There's a new verified validator on the network. It's ripple.telinduscloud.lu. Interestingly, today there is an event today in Luxemburg where the prize is 1.5M lumens from Stellar; Evan Schwartz from Ripple is one of the judges and so is Telindus: https://www.siliconluxembourg.lu/luxembourg-blockchain-hackathon-2017/
