  1. The first XRP Toolkit beta was released more than a year ago and a lot has happened since then. The original XRP Toolkit creator founded Towo Labs, recruited a small team and began implementing new hardware wallet firmware and a new version of the XRP Toolkit. The reimplementation features complete support for signing transactions using Xumm, Ledger Nano S and Ledger Nano X. The first round of testing with ~50 users has just been completed and the second round of testing is about to begin. If you'd like to participate, signup as a tester through this form: https://forms.gle/m42d4UmrHc3CVWNt6 Signing an order for the decentralized exchange using the Xumm app by XRPL Labs. The new Ledger firmware by Towo Labs supports signing trade orders for the decentralized exchange, XRP escrows, account settings, trust lines, cross-currency payments and even common transaction fields like memos. Everything that's possible to do on the XRP Ledger is supported by the new Ledger firmware. If you want to be the first to know when Towo Labs new firmware becomes publicly available, keep an eye on this pull request: https://github.com/LedgerHQ/ledger-app-xrp/pull/8 Signing an order for the decentralized exchange using a Ledger Nano S, running XRP firmware v2.0 by Towo Labs.
  2. Hey all, been a while since I looked at my ledger nano s and what not. I tried sending some xrp from my ledger nano s to bitstamp and it kept failing to send. Tried with and without destination tag and cant figure it out, probably something hugely simple I'm forgetting. I am prepping for moon to have my cash out plan in order lol.
  3. Dear Fellow Ripplers and Crypto Experts, Can someone please help me by providing DETAILED step-by-step advice on the following?: 1.) What is the SAFEST way to transfer XRP from a Paper Wallet (Cold Storage) to Ledger Nano S WITHOUT EXPOSING my private key/s on the internet? This is my goal. 2.) Am I able to transfer XRP directly from the paper wallet (cold storage) to the Ledger Nano S OR will I be required to transfer the XRP to an intermediary desktop wallet first (such as RIPPEX or TOAST) and then transfer XRP from the intermediary wallet (such as RIPPEX or TOAST) to Ledger Nano S? FYI: I am not interested in using a hosted wallet such as Gatehub. 3.) Assuming that I need to transfer to an intermediary desktop wallet first (such as Rippex or Toast), is there a way to accomplish this WITHOUT EXPOSING my private key/s on the internet? If so, how? 4.) When transferring XRP from a paper wallet to a desktop wallet (such as Rippex or Toast), will my original paper wallet keys (public and private) stay the same or will the desktop wallet provide new keys? Also, when transferring XRP from a desktop wallet (such as Rippex or Toast) to the Ledger Nano S, will my keys (public and private) change again or will they remain the same? I searched online and the tutorials but could not find exactly what I'm looking for. Your assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help.
  4. hi guys; I was wondering about the following imaginary (yet totally possible scenario): A person putting all his coins in the ledger nano S HW wallet and puts it away in a safe for 5 years. after that time period this person tries to connect to the ledger nano S again but there is a HW failure. in such cases I assume the 24 passphrase should help a person to 'transfer' my coins to a new ledger. however, 5 years from now in my imaginary scenario ledger went bankrupt and non existent anymore. what then? you thoughts and comments are welcomed. considering the fact that there are many HW failures reports in the nano s forum and the volatility of the market as a whole. this scenario could be reality tomorrow...
  5. Didn't know where to post this and could find the original thread so move if needed Does anyone know if this was resolved and that all is working now? thanks.

  7. Dear Friends and Hodlers; I have 2 questions regarding Ledger Nano S wallet device: 1- What happens when the coin pays dividend? As I am both XLM and XRP hodler, yesterday I noticed my Lumens (XLM) amount had increased. I thought maybe it was supplied more to the market and hodl'ers got more of XLM. I have also experienced that one in Bitcoin Cash. That time I had some amount (less than one ) BTC and I received Bitcoin Cash (BCH) depending on my BTCs... 2- What should I do, not to end up like the guy 'Man’s Life Savings Stolen from Hardware Wallet Supplied by a Reseller' Thanks and Regards for all your comments
  8. So I'm in the process of setting up my Ledger Nano S so I can transfer my XRP from Gatehub and when I try to download the Ripple application from the Ledger Manager it gives me an "Unable to install application" error. In reading the help guides they indicate that this is because there is insufficient space on my Nano S, but this is the first application I have tried to load. Does this mean I need to somehow delete one of the original applications that were pre-loaded? It looks like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Fido U2F are pre-loaded. Anyone have any experience with this?
  9. Hello, This is my first post! I bought a Ledger Nano s and I absolutely love it. I tested it first before I sent something larger. I sent $100's worth and it went in pretty quick. I also wanted to test sending it back out of course. I was charged $20 to send it to Binance. I thought that was pretty high! Let me know what you think. This was some time ago so maybe fees for that process have changed. Other than that I love it and if you are scared of breaking it or losing it don't worry just save your 24 word phrase and you can get a new one and be back on track. Overall I love the wallet. Feels kinda dinky but It's all good. Cheers Josh
  10. OK, I am sure this has been covered, but I cannot find it so I will ask while everyone is smiling at $2! Anyhow, just received my Ledger Nano S. Going to verify it, then transfer from exchange. In the meantime, I have activated with a Rippex wallet. Can I transfer that activated wallet and the 20xrp to my Nano, or is that 20 XRP gone, and I must activate again on the Nano? Thanks for taking the time to spread Hodlmas cheer!
  11. I will be getting my Ledger Nano S in a few days. I just have a couple of questions. 1. I've been reading on forums where people are complaining about the USB cable being loose & not working for some users. In a couple of years if the USB cable gets twirled n twisted & doesn't work.. what are we supposed to do? Buy a new ledger & use its cable? What if they launch new products & they dont manufacture Ledger Nano S at that time? 2. If I loose my Ledger & try to backup with my 24 words phrases on a new device.. are the private keys & my XRP coins on the ledger nano cloud server/database? If yes, then can't the ledger nano s database/server be hacked & our coins stolen? 3. I plan to hold XRP till 2020, at the moment we would use the Ledger Nano S apps on chrome & desktop as their sites are working fine. If 2 years down the line, if ledger nano site goes down for any reason or they run out of business then what happens to our coins? How would we login to get our coins back? I know these questions are silly but since its a long term investment, it'll be nice to have all my doubts cleared. Thanks
  12. My first post here. Hello. I have searched and read many posts here and elsewhere about moving XRP from Ripple Wallet, etc to a Nano S or really just any different wallet. It seems like the 20 XRP reserve is a real sticking point. I understand that the 20 XRP reserve is required to keep an account active but what if I do not want to old account to remain active? I would like to transfer/move/export/send ALL of my XRP that is in the Ripple Wallet (including the reserve) to my Nano S. Then, close/delete the original Ripple Wallet account, etc. I just want all of my XRP in one place for now. I am still relatively new to all of this as many of you may be as well. So apologies if I am missing some key difference between XRP and most other cryptos. But as it stands, the reserve seems like a way for Ripple to essentially lock you in to your first wallet/account and potentially keep those funds locked up forever? Maybe I am missing something. Maybe there is a way to associate my Ripple Wallet account with my Nano S Ripple Wallet and have all of the funds be available? Thank you in advance for any help.

  14. Why rely on hardware wallets store your XRP securely on the XRP Blockchain in Escrow. https://www.secureblockchains.com/reservoir https://www.secureblockchains.com/reservoir/about Reservoir is an escrow application that allows XRP investors to store their XRP directly on the ledger. As of now we believe it's the most secure way to store XRP long term. https://www.secureblockchains.com/help
  15. Guys my ETH wallet application for chrome is only connecting to my ledger nano s if my computer is connected to the internet. Is that normal? I thought that its an offline wallet? Thanks for your help
