How can XRP crypto investors help mainstream financial markets - and those others already in crypto - move past current limitations into the future? I give my take on this topic in today's blog, and spend some time covering the biggest XRP news items as well. This includes news from some of the biggest companies that build on XRP, including Ripple, Coil, and SBI, as well as two XRP Community members. I guarantee that the average crypto investor - and even those that follow XRP - have had a hard time keeping up with all the latest information; there's a lot to cover, but I did my best to touch on the most impactful items. Hope you enjoy today's latest edition. Please feel free to share my blog with a friend - or on any other platform or social media - and thank you for doing so! So the developers of Allvor are airdropping tokens into Ripple addresses... so each of the 55 Escrow contracts could have 1mil (max airdrop per address) ALV in it...? Plus any other addresses that Ripple owns, that would make them pretty big stake holders in any other coin that a developer chooses to launch on the XRP Ledger if coins are distributed in a similar fashion. It also gives them a bit of influence in the coins that go to market.

Happy Easter morning XRP Fans - It's been a busy week for Ripple and XRP: Ripple donates $29 million to a charity & is drawn into what quickly became viral mainstream media coverage. In addition, the Uphold integration is complete, adding a huge number of currency pairings to the ecosystem; I also discuss other points such as JoelKatz' Asia tour and more central bank news. Hope you enjoy the read - please leave any feedback below: Feel free to share my blog with a friend, or on any other media - and thank you for doing so! A Chinese cryptocurrency startup Miroskii featured pictures of its team members on its webpage along with the details of its upcoming ICO. Among all the team members, the graphic designer named “Kevin Belanger” stood out as he had an uncanny resemblance to the famous Hollywood star Ryan Gosling. https://viraldocks.com/ryan-gosling-cryptocurrency-ico/

Anybody following or invested in neblio token sale? It looks like an interesting project, similar to Stratis but not just for .net systems. It's is language agnostic aimed at enterprises developing dapps. https://nebl.io/pre-sale/ I will admit I have never witnessed a live token sale/ ICO before so not sure what pitfalls to look out for. I am thinking of investing a small amount, considering the traction stratis has gained. Would love to hear others opinions. Token sale ends in 6 days, some details: Max 125,000,000 available. Unsold tokens are burned Sold over 5 million tokens already

Bloom's main mission is to introduce a global credit system. They are still in their coin sale but will be ending January 1st. That is when they will rollout their initial phase 1 of testing their network. I find their mission one that can potentially disrupt the credit industry. They seem to have a solid team and have a ton of partnerships already. Does anyone hav eany other recommendations for cryptos in the credit industry?

I want to premise this by saying 2 things first: 1. Yes, ICO's make me cringe too. 2. The Flint Water Crisis *is* the hill I'm willing to die on. This idea is nowhere near fleshed out, but you guys were so helpful when I posted about the wallet (thank you, thank you, thank you!!!), that I thought I'd brainstorm here. It's been 1,266 days since Flint, MI has had clean water. It's a multifaceted problem with never-ending tentacles on every side. I'll just leave it at that for now. In the spirit of eating an elephant one bite at a time, I want to tackle one small piece that I think is solvable and important, even to people outside of Flint: I want people to have the tools they need to know whether or not their water is safe to drink, without having to rely on a 3rd party, who could knowingly lie, as demonstrated over and over and over again in Flint. America's water infrastructure has been seriously neglected. I want to start a company that sells smart water quality sensors that can easily attach to home faucets. Something like this: https://www.israel21c.org/brightap-takes-first-place-in-gens-startup-open/ Ideally, it would broadcast real-time, water quality data to a public blockchain. Sudden contamination can happen anywhere and people could sign up to receive alerts. Flint would get their water sensors for free and serve as the proof of concept. The company would be set up as an L3C. (http://www.michipreneur.com/michigans-l3c-legal-support-for-social-entrepreneurs/) Those are my thoughts right now. Any input is greatly appreciated!

I really liked this one but it's stalled at 6% of what they want...even though it's only been a couple days, I wonder if this project is going to lift off. What do you think? https://www.hashrush.com/ico/

Current trying to participate in the BitIndia ICO and transfer funds from myetherwallet to the ICO contract address - but any time I make the transaction I get the following: When I check the bitindia contract address I see that a lot of transactions are showing the same error message. The Ether never leaves my account but gas is used on each transaction. Has anyone had any similar issues and found a solution?

http://smartcontract.com/link https://link.smartcontract.com/whitepaper The Crowdsale is Capped at $32,000,000 Total Token Supply of 1,000,000,000 LINK to be distributed: 35% going to Node Operators to Incentivize the Ecosystem 35% will be sold in the Public Token Sale 30% will go to the Company for Continued Development Ethereum ERC20 Token, directly purchasable with ETH SEPTEMBER 19TH ICO BEGINS The LINK Network is the first decentralized oracle network; allowing anyone to securely provide smart contracts with access to key external data, off-chain payments and any other API capabilities. Anyone who has a data feed, useful off-chain service such as local payments, or any other API, can now provide them directly to smart contracts in exchange for LINK tokens. Becoming a ChainLink Node Operator is an easy way to monetize your experience with a specific API as a developer. It's also a great way for data providers, payments providers and various online service providers e.g. e-signature to sell their API based services directly to a smart contract. If you'd like to operate a ChainLink Node to offer your services for direct purchase by a smart contract, we're excited to help get you setup. By creating a decentralized infrastructure for smart contracts to access critical off-chain resources, there is now a scaleable, secure and auditable way to add data, off-chain payments and APIs into a smart contract. gentlemen, i`m very interested to see your opinions on this ico. it`s got serious serious backers with 1 billion supply of tokens

It's bad news week for crypto evidently, and I break down the Chinese announcements and just what it means for XRP. This is my latest blog entry. Even though XRP has fared better than others, the market reaction to the Chinese announcements have still taken their toll. I discuss how it's not the end of the world, and I expect the market to rebound... probably soon ™ Hope you enjoy the read, and let me know any feedback below. So I stumbled across this the other day and though the premise was quite interesting: https://news.bitcoin.com/pr-top-10-coins-value-in-one-coin-aio-ico-just-launched/ It's basically a coin that allows you to hedge you bets across the top 10 coins in the market - essentially given you an average cost of the top ten per 1 AIO. The buy in rate is currently $1 to 1 AIO, with a minimum of $50 required. I've never been involved with any type of ICO before given the high risk nature... but 50 bucks seems like an innocent punt for something that could be quite profitable. Would be curious for thoughts on whether it looks like a rip or not. Direct link here: https://www.aiocoins.io/home/aio
