In today's blog, I go over all the basics of XRP, including its features, capabilities, and include some of the major differences between it and other networks. While it's not an in-depth treatment of 'all-things XRP,' it serves as a convenient reference document if you're looking for a short explanation to share with somebody new. I hope you enjoy the read; leave any feedback below. Feel free to share my blog with a friend - or on any other platform - and thank you for doing so! Global businesses are starting to see the light when it comes to digital assets. This includes international economic organizations that realize the true economic potential of being able to move value across borders at the speed of information. In this blog, I profile a large cluster of news items about Ripple technology adoption. Last week was the week of Disrupt in San Francisco, and I break down the video of both Brad Garlinghouse and Michael Arrington onstage at the huge industry conference. There was also a very high-profile Forbes article that was recently released about the history of Ripple, specifically focusing on David Schwartz's role in creating XRP. Coil, Stefan Thomas's new company, released a video explaining web monetization. And the XRP Ledger just became even more decentralized. I also have some interesting information about more exchanges and retailers supporting XRP. I hope you enjoy the read! Please leave any feedback below. Feel free to share my blog with a friend in any way - or on any other platform you wish - and thank you for doing so! https://www.forbes.com/sites/jasonbloomberg/2018/09/09/enterprise-blockchain-struggles-to-carve-out-a-niche/#116ff9d1600a Interesting take on the state of blockchain. For once a Forbes contributor that isn't a Bitcoin maximalist, and is actually forecasting its doom for the very reason (decentralization) people like Laura Shin are saying it will succeed over XRP. He's pretty hard on XRP though. Although not directly mentioning it, he talks about the speculative nature of most tokens (XRP included) will prevent them from ever having any value - early investors selling and depressing the price of most tokens will prohibit adoption & use. He only mentions Ripple, and spends much more time talking about IBM/Stellar and the introduction of 'StableCoin' on the Stellar blockchain. Overall it's more thoughtful than the usual pieces put out by Forbes, but there's one point he's trying to make that leaves me scratching my head: HUH??? What about ILP? I would love to hear in greater detail as to how he arrived at this conclusion. Yes, there is a lot of hype in this space, but to me, preventing value from copying itself the way information does on the internet is a pretty big problem. And when it is solved, that disruption may not be felt as much in the "West", but there are billions of people whose lives will be changed (hopefully) in a good way. I guess time will tell...

Here are the reasons why XRP will hit 1000 USD. 1. 150 trillion USD daily money transfer between the banks cannot be managed for a company who has less than 20 trillion USD value. 2. Transactions are easier. There are 500,000 USD bills, banks use only. So XRP will replace those. 3. 2030 world will be more criminal. A crypto currency will solve this issue, imagine there is no criminal activities possible since you can track the money. 4. For better future XRP as the USA based money should control the world. 5. Economically world needs freedom, for better economy for all world, and no more under bed money - because everyone will invest XRP- world economy will be super which will prevent world war 3. Win Win

$100 Invested In Ripple Would Have Made You $35K, What About The Rest?
Guest posted a topic in Press

My main reason is that this is exactly the type of article I read about Bitcoin back in Sept that made me start studying cryptocurrencies and ultimately led me to Ripple. I hope this will do the same for many in the months to come. I think these types of articles are valuable in the sense that it creates fomo in the minds of those people who have still never heard of crypto. They are very valuable in bringing in new investors. -

Last couple of days have really been important news and marketing-wise for Ripple. I think this article in Forbes will get more institutional investors on board: The cryptocurrency Ripple, which is used by many banks, shot up dramatically in the last 24 hours, climbing to nearly 30 cents from yesterday's price of around 17 cents. The price surge also saw the total value of Ripple grow to $11 billion, briefly making it the third most valuable digital currency behind bitcoin and Ethereum. http://fortune.com/2017/08/23/ripple/

Ripple XRP is on Forbes! Here is the article. “You now have a network that is able to tokenize brand new assets or create token versions of physical world assets and move them around in a virtual world,” she says. There's a Ripple mention elsewhere in the article. "Adoption of distributed ledgers likely will happen in two waves. First is the development of specific systems focused on international payments, a trend that is already well underway. Second will be a broad disruption of domestic payment networks triggered by digital fiat currencies supported by central banks. While the second wave will occur further in the future, it may have more profound consequences for banks, potentially destroying the entire market for checking accounts and credit cards." http://www.forbes.com/sites/baininsights/2016/09/09/what-big-banks-can-learn-from-bitcoins-technology/#120731401ecb
