  1. When running rippled on Centos 6 using the yum package, you may encounter this error: Or something to the effect that 1024 file descriptors are available and 4096 were requested from rippled, so it shut down. To fix this error, open /etc/security/limits.conf and at the bottom of the file add: Next, open /etc/sysctl.conf and at the bottom of the file add: Run ulimit -Ha to check if open files has been updated to 10240, such as: Execute service rippled start and it should operate correctly.
  2. I was completing a lot of escorts today. Everything was coming along fine until I started getting this error in the results: "engine_result": "tecUNFUNDED", "engine_result_code": 129, "engine_result_message": "One of _ADD, _OFFER, or _SEND. Deprecated.", Each escrow after that kept giving me this in the results. What does it mean, and why did I get it? I had more than enough in my account to cover the escrow and transaction fees. Hi All Have just set up on Gatehub - sofar so good, however even after full verification, a EU bank transfer and a BTC TX from Coinbase, and using alternative Ripple public keys there is the classic error sign when submitting any Gatehub, BitStamp and 3rd party trust key Gatehub acknowledged that the funds are present but need a trust key ( 7 emails.....) Raised 2 tickets, whilst I await a decent response, some questions - I have scooted round many blogs talking that someone external can deposit 20 XRP directly to the wallet to get it moving - but how can that really work seeing that a trust code has to be set and second according to the deposit page, no third parties are accepted . Also Gatehub also state on their help page that on funds being there, 20 XRP will be deposited by Gatehub to get the wallet active. To test the need for Trust - why then now I set up an alternative Hosted Wallet - no trust keys are required. Is it possible to buy XRP and then open ....   4. Hello, Panic! I have created an Rippex account and transferred 205 XRPs from Koinex exchange to Rippex account. The transfer is successful, the XRPs are deducted from Koinex exchange. But when i login to Rippex its not logging in it says "Login failed: Wallet file or password is wrong." The password and wallet i am entering is perfectly fine... PS: i have lost my security key... Is there any way i can recover the account? Thanks a lot in advance.
  5. Hello first of all i am a HODLER i am normally the guy who just reads everyday through all the xrpchat and never is writing something, but now I got a problem. I know, I am not the first with this, so maybe someone knows how to get a faster response. I wanted to send some XRP from Poloniex to my Nano Ledger S and then this came: Complete: Error XRP 2017-11-17 13:48:42 Then of course I made Ticket (maybe when somebody from poloniex is reading this: Ticket number#523525) and i am still waiting for a response.
  6. I’m trying without success to transfer some EUROs to my wallet. However, I received an email saying that I have to setup a EUR trustline. Problem is every time I try to do this I get and error, see attach search shot. I’ve tried repeatedly to request help via the help chat box, but get no reply. I just keep getting an email telling to setup the trustline. Any ideas how I can resolve this??
  7. Hi. I've been trying to send XRP from my offline XRP wallet off/on now for a few weeks now and have not been successful. When I first bought the XRP from the exchange and sent the XRP to the offline wallet, I was having trouble as well. This time, however, it seems that I'm getting a consistent error. I've been trying to use the ripple client at https://jatchili.github.io/minimalist-ripple-client/ and keep getting the same error: Transaction finalized with error: {"result":"tejMaxLedger","result_message":"Transaction LastLedgerSequence exceeded","engine_result":"tejMaxLedger","engine_result_message":"Transaction LastLedgerSequence exceeded","message":"Transaction LastLedgerSequence exceeded"} This error I get even if I'm not sending the total balance in the wallet. I have no trust lines or anything like that and even if I attempt to send 20 XRP less, I get the same error. I'm wondering if I'm sending the correct number. If the wallet balance is 899972999, and I try to send 879.972999 on the form (assuming the correct receiving wallet/tag), should the transaction go through without error? Please help. I feel like my XRP is stuck there with no way for me to trade/use it. TIA.
  8. I have raised the following issue with Gatehub's support but the matter has not yet been resolved to my satisfaction for at least 8 days. The last communication I had with Gatehub was 5 days ago, since then I have been waiting for a reply. The Issue: I decided to move some money off of the Ripple network, so used the "Trade" feature and traded Bitstamp $ for Bitstamp Bitcoin. I was trying to get best execution, so I bought a bunch of odd-lots, some of which didn't fill completely. After the transactions occurred, I then went to send my bitstamp BTC out of the Ripple network, but to my surprise, all the Bitstamp Bitcoin is missing as well as the bitstamp $ I spent on them. Furthermore, I have no "open orders" listed on my account. The funny thing is that all the transactions I made show up in the txn history. So essentially, Gatehub's system realizes that I made all these trades, but has somehow nonetheless lost the proceeds... I raised this issue with support and sent all my txn hashes. The Support manager's first email was 1 line "did you authorize this txn". Great start. Not only is that completely irrelevant to my issue (missing funds) but it's also obviously lawyer talk. So from the get-go, Support was playing defense instead of actually reading my email and trying to understand my problem. Ifeelgoodaboutthis.jpg Nevertheless, I continued the correspondence, what choice did I have? Yes I authorized the txn, I said as much in my first email... Support then informed me that some of my txn hashes weren't completely filled. Though he did not say so explicitly, I presumed that Support said this because perhaps open orders "lock up" collateral in one's wallet. I had to presume though, because the email I received contained only 1 proposition (he merely stated that some of the txns went unfilled), and didn't seem to think it worthwhile to explain to me why this one, choice proposition was relevant to my issue.... . He simply stated that I had unfilled orders and left me to fill in the rest......Great! that really makes me feel better about the thousands of dollars that are missing from my Wallet. So I tell myself to calm down, I tell myself "Maybe things at Gatehub are hectic right now and Support doesn't understand my issue." So I kindly reply, explaining to Support that I dont have any open orders, and that't why I dont think that is the issue, and I include all the txn's that were made, in all the proper amounts and prices, and show that either Bitstamp $ or Bitstamp BTC is missing from my wallet, and that login history and txn history proves I have not been hacked....but since then it has been 5 days, no response. I'm not sure what to do since Support literally left me hanging. Without a telephone number to call at, my only options are to wait, ***** on XRP talk, or seek legal recourse. Obviously I have opted for option 2. What do you guys think, has anyone had a similar issue? I am thinking that my funds are being held by unfilled transactions, but that a bug in Gatehub is not allowing me to see or cancel them. Then again, that could be completely daffy. Thanks

After successfully entering my username, password and validation, i get the following message "Currently unavailable, please try again later.". Does any of you experience the same? Hi everyone, Im new to forum, so sorry if i don't know rules to post. i have problem with Gatehub account, since 1 week i can't access it because i deleted google authenticatior app. And know Gatehub asks for 2fa code when i try to login. Support team is not responding! Any help or suggestions would be appreciated again sorry if didn't posted in right section.
  11. I'm having a bit of trouble moving the XRP from my wallet which seems to be a watch-only wallet. Anyway to enable, modify, or transfer the funds from the account? I've looked around i just don't understand how this is a watch-only wallet.
  12. Hi there, I am unable to sign up onto my gatehub account. The error I get is the following {"code":400,"error":"invalid_grant","error_description":"User credentials are invalid"} I have my recovery key and reset the password multiple times but with no luck. I tried multiple browsers with and without incognito mode. @enej @gatehub is it something you could help with? I've already emailed support. Is there a different website where I can import my wallet and transfer my ripple onto a second wallet? Thank you everyone
