  1. Current trying to participate in the BitIndia ICO and transfer funds from myetherwallet to the ICO contract address - but any time I make the transaction I get the following: When I check the bitindia contract address I see that a lot of transactions are showing the same error message. The Ether never leaves my account but gas is used on each transaction. Has anyone had any similar issues and found a solution?
  2. So, I've set up my Nano Ledger to support my holdings in XRP, litecoin, and Ether, using the Chrome App extensions for each. They are very straightforward to use and I have no issues with either. However I have holdings in a number of other ERC20 coins such as OMG - plus I want to get involved in one or Two ICO's that I also see as having potential. (also on the ERC20 framework) For peace of mind & simplicity, I want the ERC20 tokens to be saved onto the ledger, but i'm unsure how to do this correctly as there is a lot of inconsistent and contradicting instructions. Ideally I want to continuing using the chrome extension app that is native to the ledger, however the instructions I have read showing how to add ERC20 tokens advise that you need to use MyEtherWallet (MEW) interface. Is it possible to add ERC20 tokens the native chrome extensions for the Ledger rather than MEW? If I need to use MEW, then what's the best way to store the tokens - I've followed the instructions as per the following link but it still doesn't answer my questions https://ledger.groovehq.com/knowledge_base/topics/how-to-secure-your-eth-tokens-augur-rep-dot-dot-dot-with-your-nano-s I basically go > send ether and tokens > plug in nano > unlock ether tab on nano > enable browser support / contract data > select and connect ether wallet... So... 1) Once the ledger is connected I get a screen similar to below - all of the addresses will be empty with exception of the top one which will have my current ether balance and the same address as my chrome extension wallet - do I use the address where my ETH is saved to store all my ERC20 tokens given that i'll need gas to send them, or do I select a new empty wallet addresses for each ERC token? 2) Once i've selected either the ETH address or empty wallet address. I then click on 'add custom token', and get the following drop down menu which asks me to add the address , token symbol, and decimals. Token symbol is straight forward, but what does the address and decimal relate too? Why is this address important? 3) Finally, Once i've created the custom token option, how do I then receive funds into that wallet. Do I use my original ETH address as the recipient wallet? Sorry for the noob questions, but the more I read into it the more I confuse myself, and the more I need to understand what everything means - maybe I just need to go with it!
  3. Hey everyone, Apologies if this is a bit off-topic. We're looking for community managers and discussion moderators over at Ethfinex, in time for our upcoming platform launch. If you don't know about Ethfinex, it is a discussion/information/trading platform which is intended to facilitate learning, discussion, analysis and trading of Ethereum-based projects and ERC20 tokens. It is designed in response to the growing number of projects out there, and the difficulty in locating and organising legitimate, valuable information. I've attached a link to our announcement post in case you'd like to learn more. Upon our launch, we'll need a team of motivated moderators, either coin/project-specific or all-around community managers, to help facilitate discussion and control for spam. These positions are fairly important to the survival/success of Ethfinex and will be a large part of what makes the platform function. If you'd like to hear more, please head over to our subreddit and send us a message (/u/kethfinex or /u/plutoegg - we'd love to hear from you. We've set up a weekly ICO review thread which will be used as a bit of a testing ground, so feel free to come contribute there! Our platform being on Reddit is, of course, temporary, so don't let a potential dislike for reddit scare you off Hope to hear from some of you, and happy trading! - Kasper, Ethfinex
  4. I'm interested in compiling a list of profit-sharing/dividend-paying tokens to track their performance over time. Any help would be appreciated, here are some: MASS - www.mass.cloud, masternode staking TAAS - www.taas.fund, closed-ended blockchain investment fund Edgeless - https://edgeless.io, profit-sharing casino token TrueFlip - www.trueflip.io, international lottery Rialto.ai - www.rialto.ai, market-maker and arbitrage algorithms QuantumProject - market-maker with indirect profit-sharing through token buybacks
  5. I came across this while looking at various ERC20 tokens. The website is horrible and the writing is poor but it seems that they're trying to do something with Ripple: http://veritas.veritaseum.com/index.php/23-the-ripple-forensic-valuation-is-available-for-download-showing-value-behind-veri-s-rise They have any ERC20 token too? https://etherscan.io/address/0x8f3470A7388c05eE4e7AF3d01D8C722b0FF52374
