Here is a sample letter to use (feel free to customize to your own liking) to quickly send something to your US Representative in support of the Token Taxonomy Act. Thanks to @LittleLordFauntleroy for most of the original content! For more information, please see the tweet from Representative Warren Davidson: https://twitter.com/WarrenDavidson/status/1111299819757322241 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello Congressman/woman <<your rep>>, My name is <<your name>>, and I'm a resident of <<wherever>>. The reason I'm writing is because there is a bill being proposed by Rep. Warren Davidson called 'The Token Taxonomy Act'. I strongly believe that it is in the best long-term interests of both <<your state>> and the United States to pass this bill, which would support the long-term growth and development of blockchain technology in the US. Countries like China, India, the UK, Switzerland, and Malta are moving quickly and diligently on blockchain regulation, putting the US at risk of falling behind in the race to be a leader in this revolutionary new technology. The Token Taxonomy Act serves to protect investors and speculators by establishing a clear taxonomy for what will constitute a security and what will not, and also designates which US Government entity will have jurisdiction and enforcement responsibilities for each type. The act clearly indicates that the SEC should continue to enforce the laws of the land on any Initial Coin Offering ('ICO') that meets the criteria for a security. In this way, the act strikes a balance between the clear protection of investors, with needed regulatory guidance for the burgeoning field of blockchain technology and its associated financial innovations. This approach is consistent with many other countries around the world that are also addressing this new technology. I hope you will join Representative Warren Davidson in moving innovation forward in <<your state>>. Blockchain technology has tremendous potential, and I want <<your state>> and the US to be pioneers in what will be a a hugely important technology moving forward. Thank you, <<Your name>>

Gatehub asks to authorize new device on every login
xh3b4sd posted a topic in Gateways and Exchanges
Hello folks, I just noticed a super annoying/worrying behaviour when logging into Gatehub. Check the attachment. I get an email and have to confirm the link I received. The first time this was ok. Now I see it every time I log in. Is this on purpose? Is there a bug? Is this a phishing mechanism from an attacker? On my end all looks good but I am still worried. Please provide some information and background. All the best, Tim.- 29 replies

Today I tried to log in to gatehub several times, but I got the following message, but no confirmation email. "It looks like you're signing in to GateHub from a computer or device we haven't seen before, or for some time. Please click the confirmation link in the email we just sent you. This is the process that protects the security of your wallet." The problem is, I do not get any confirmation e-mail! Has anyone else have or have had these problems? Do you know, what could be the issue there? Thank you!

https://xrphodor.wordpress.com/2017/07/02/xrp-wont-just-make-you-rich-it-will-supercharge-the-world-economy/ Latest blog entry. The entire blog entry was inspired by: https://ripple.com/files/fsr_gifford_cheng.pdf (p. 144) Basically, the lesson is that when you make a transaction cost zero (or near zero), and then make it extremely fast, something incredible happens to the number of those transactions - they increase almost geometrically. It's exciting to think what XRP could do if it's widely used as a bridge asset, and this same effect ends up happening to international commerce! Please feel free to leave positive / negative / neutral feedback here. Also, feel free to share, quote, link to, or otherwise point to the blog in any way that helps get the word out in other media. (My next step now is to log into Reddit and alert the Ripple subforum)
