  1. Hi! I am a beginner when it comes to crypto. Recently I bought around 100 xrp via binance and decided it would be more secure to transfer the funds into a desktop wallets. However, not all of them accept ripple and apparently Ripple Labs enforced this rule have 20 xrp taken from you just to activate your account. Is there a way to ditch this? I have currently tried Exodus and Atomic Wallet and it didnt work.
  2. Hello all. I'm still getting used to everything and finally had my account verified by gatehub. Now I'm trying to deposit funds, but I'm not sure if I can do the wire transfer on their site, or if I need to go to my bank and do it. Does anyone know how to do this? The ripple website used to have detailed instructions on how to deposit through gatehub, but now it's gone.
  3. Hi folks, been almost 1 week since I transferred Ethereum from coinbase to GateHub no deposit and no response from GateHub. Should I report to FTC? Any suggestions?
  4. Very simple: unscalable KYC/AML procedures. Imagine you were to send XRP from a wallet address to your bank. How do they know where the funds come from? Sure you can show them that you bought them at an exchange, but since the exchange transfers XRP out of a pooled account (mostly) it'll require quite a bit of work to verify that this is not dirty money. With a fiat transfer from "shady country account" to "good reputation country account" at least there's a country, a bank address, an account holder name or an account holder address to check and potentially block. With any transfer, be it fiat or securities, SOMEONE needs to do the KYC/AML. So, for now, as long as exchanges send from pooled accounts, this "I'll send my zerps to my bank one day" is a pipe dream. Go work in a bank and see how they freeze a $10k worth of security transfer from a US based custodian sent to a European custodian and you'll understand that it is completely unrealistic to send cold wallet stored / exchange stored XRP to your bank. It's gonna be fiat to fiat for a long time. Go ahead, prove me wrong
  5. I helped a friend get set up on Poloniex where I also have an account. I sent over 20.15 XRP (20 after 0.15 fee) to his public wallet. The transaction says it was completed on my end, and I verified that his wallet address has 20 XRP on Bithomp, but for some reason the XRP are still not showing up on his Poloniex balance. Anyone know what might be up? I opened a ticket but from what I've heard from others I'm not expecting a response any time soon or ever. EDIT: his account is verified as well if that matters
  6. Hello everyone, I am new here. I registered now for almost 3-4 weeks on GateHub, I wanted to buy XRP (than was price 0.22), but there is pending problem with EUR gateway. I can't deposit money, to buy Ripple, somewhere I read that I need at least 20 XRP to make deposit. I read the rules I'm not begging for XRP, but I'm begging for help. Is there someone who can help me? We can agree on deal that someone send me at least 20 xrp, so I can make deposit, after I buy my xrp, I can send back 25-30 xrp, so for kindly favor you can get xrp? Thanks in advance. Peace.
  7. Hello all, I'm posting this here because I only recently created my account. I've deposited 1 ETH into my GateHub wallet & everything checks out. I even have a transaction confirmation hash: 63b929ed2670d351a96b4ab6b14efeadd46f40f88c6e052b809257d01db217f9 I've double checked the addresses and everything looks good except my deposit doesn't show in GateHub. After purchasing XRP from this platform before, I didn't expect any problems. I already created a support ticket to no avail and I'm becoming concerned with my misplaced Ethereum. Please help a fellow crypto enthusiast out!
  8. I sent some ripple to my desktop wallet and the transactions went through very quickly. The "available" balance is significantly less than what is stored there. Why? There has been over 200 xrp in this wallet for weeks now, yet the available balance is lower than that! HALP *edit* wow the desktop wallet screenshot matches the exact color scheme of the forums. Nice!
  9. Hi, I'm from the UK and i use Nationwide Building Society, when trying to deposit funds from there into my Gatehub Wallet, it's asking me for more information than i'm provided: https://i.imgur.com/KqB9oY1.png Without the name/street/town for a receiving bank, i cannot proceed.
  10. I noticed a small fee for deposits made to a poloniex account. the amounts are 0.15 XRP roughly - same as their withdrawal fee. there isn't supposed to be a deposit fee as far as I understand, the address has already been setup with the initial 20 XRP. Anyone experienced something similar? I've opened a ticket, but considering how slow their response has been to larger issues going on with their exchange, I doubt I'll hear back from them anytime soon.
  11. HI guys, I have one question. I'm new at gatehub, and i want to transfer xrp that i bought on kraken to gatehub. The validation of the wallet on gatehub is still pending. I tried to transfer funds from kraken with the offered address to deposit xrp on my wallet but with no success... so my question is... do i have to wait till the authorization is complete (it takes really long) or is possible to transfer xrp from kraken to gatehub no matter if the authorization is pending or not? Thank you very much
  12. So I am new to all of this cryptocurrency. I just set up my first wallet with Gatehub, got my account verified, and began trying to transfer USD from FlashFX to my ripple address. FlashFX alerted me that I needed to establish a trustline, and in following the tutorials I can find out where to go to enter details. But I cannot work out for the life of me what the public address is that I enter so that the payment clears. Every google search has turned up empty. This is probably a super simple fix but I need help to work this out. Thanks in advance!
  13. Hi, I have recently signed up for Gatehub. The activation process was really fast and straight forward. Following that, I went ahead and followed the instructions on how to make a deposit. I live in the US and I went to my bank to get help from a specialist. I made a wire transfer using all the information provided by Gatehub. The bank guy told me that the money gets sent in at most 1 business day. However, it has been almost 5 days since my deposit, and my funds are not there. I am just worried that the funds might not have went where they were supposed to be. I emailed Gatehub but I haven't been able to get a reply yet. Has anyone else tried to deposit from the US ?
  14. TLDR: I have a US bank account and want to buy Ripple. What's the best platform for doing so? Is wire transfer my only option? ---------------------------- I'm new to cryptocurrency trading. Trying to buy some Ripple. I signed up and got approved for Gatehub.net, but it seems like my only option to fund from my US bank account is to do a wire transfer. According to this page, there is a $15 fee associated with wire transfers: https://gatehub.net/fees. I live in the US and have a US bank account and would like to minimize the amount I pay in fees. Is Gatehub my best option for buying Ripple, or should I be using something else? Is the idea to deposit USD from my bank into a Hosted wallet, and then moving it over to a Ripple wallet so that I can trade in my USD for Ripple? Thanks !
  15. Hello everybody, A view weeks ago I deposited some $ to my Kraken account. It has arrived, but [on hold] since then. I've send several tickets for help, but no reaction whatsoever... seems that I am not the only one having this problem: https://www.reddit.com/r/KrakenSupport/ So if you want to deposit to trade.... have patience.... will take 2 - 3 weeks probably.

    Deposit?

I transferred a EUR deposit from my bank account to the GateHub account which is located in Slovenia last week. I didn’t receive the deposit yet so I reached out to gatehub support... several times. But there was no response. Any other people facing similar issues?
  17. Hi everyone and good morning. I am a new user on gatehub. I am trying to get some bitcoin transfered to my wallet there and can not seem to do so. I believe ot is because my wallet is not funded with the initial 50xrp. It is verified however. Can someone send me some? I will be happy to repay you. Or is there a easier process i seem to be missing? Please advise and here is my wallet address if you are so inclined. rhhzo4s8D8ZBzuzpmvRqFVGxqpL4b8738P Thanks nickoftime
  18. Hi, I made a wire transfer into my GateHub wallet 14 days ago. I am from the US and I was aware that the transfer might take longer than usual. However, I am starting to think that there might be a problem with my wire transfer. I made the wire at my local bank. Together with an agent, we inputted all the information provided, INCLUDING the reference number, and double checked it to make sure. The agent then provided me with an FTRA (Funds Transfer Request Authorization) copy, which shows all the wire information. Looking at my copy, all the recipient information is correct, as well as the bank information. However, the only thing that does not seem to be straight forward is where the agent placed the reference number: There are two sections at the bottom of the recipient information section Additional Reference Information : (this is left blank) Additional Bank Instructions : REF XXXXXXXXX (this contains the reference number and has the "REF" prefix) I talked to the bank again and they provided me with an MIR/trace number that I could provide to someone from GateHub that is willing to assist me. It's been 2 weeks and I am trying to finalize this long process. I find it frustrating that I have yet to be able to get some assistance. At this point, I'm not sure if GateHub still hasn't looked over my deposit or something is wrong with the wire transfer causing the funds not to be deposited. Either way, I have not heard back from them, although I've been desperately trying to contact support. Should I keep waiting ? EDIT : Thank you Enej!

  20. Hello, I am currently trying everything I can to find out what is going on with my GateHub deposit and I am having no luck whatsoever. I am from the US and I went to the bank and made a wire transfer. This was 10 days ago. The bank agent and I made sure that all the information is filled correctly. I triple checked the reference number and everything was in order. Ever since then, I have been emailing GateHub, sending support tickets, and I've even talked to a GateHub staff member on this forum, but I still haven't been able to figure out where my money is. I understand that it must be busy with the amount of new users coming in, but can someone please help me get this sorted out? It is very frustrating logging in every day only to find out that my money is still nowhere to be found.
  21. Hello, I have made my first deposit to gatehub a while ago which was processed within 4 days and everything worked fine so I decided to do another deposit to my gatehub wallet. This time thought I am still waiting for my funds to be added 7+ days and the payment got through. I messaged the support 2 days ago but still got no reply back. What should I do? thanks in advance.
