https://www.rns-pdf.londonstockexchange.com/rns/9308A_1-2018-9-17.pdf The only mention of Ripple is in the source comments on page 9, but a worthwhile read nonetheless. It amazes me that for a paper published THIS MONTH (September 2018), there are no further mentions of Ripple and/or XRP, particularly on page 15. Given this paper is posted via the London Stock Exchange, it will likely have a wide audience. Any thoughts welcome.

Received a newsletter with a link to their blog “educating” users about how international transfers work. I read the first paragraph of this blog post and smiled SWIFT & SEPA: How international money transfers actually work ? https://blog.revolut.com/swift-sepa-how-international-money-transfers-actually-work/

This blog entry from SaveOnSend discusses the 'big picture' of money transfer, including the perceptions and actions of retail bank customers in the C2C remittance space, the importance of money transfer relative to other sources of bank revenue, and the potential scope for innovation by MTOs / fintech disruptors. Banks and Money Transfer: Sleeping Giants? Excerpt from blog post (italics/bold mine):

I am curious to know if the architecture of XRP as a digital asset (crypto currency) is such that it could be upgraded, enhanced or modified to have new features other than cross-border currency exchange etc.

After reading this article, my understanding is that these guys are competitors, targeting small banks. http://tech.economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/startups/singapore-startup-instarem-with-indian-cofounder-raises-13-million/59439850

I see them. You see them. Addresses on pages or sites that have "tip jars". My gig: I want to direct crypto to non-profits: a clearinghouse address list, if I can. I have reserved several domains but I need to establish a relatively simple way that allows anyone to contribute to xyz organization. A public service sort of thing (creating a use-case model for XRP cross-border, inter-agency contribution coordination). Advice or reference points? Thnx in advance. ...and I'll be global...the world thanks you, too.
