  1. 4H Trend = Down 1D Trend = Down Pattern = Potential Descending (falling) Wedge http://stockcharts.com/school/doku.php?id=chart_school:chart_analysis:chart_patterns:falling_wedge_reversal, needs price breakout above 1.01 and ideally break descending trendline near 1.07 to validate trend reversal. Breakdown and follow-through of lower green trendline invalidates the pattern.
  2. I have to work, and i am working. But the charts..... it's like i am a fly and the charts are bright lights?
  3. Once upon a time there was a list of all XRP holders at the old forum. I was stumbling around leger_data and decided to share this. The list of top 100 is in the post below. P.S. If anyone would be kind enough to teach me how to retrieve account_root entries as shown here: https://github.com/ripple/rippled/pull/2066 it would be much appreciated. Currently, it takes me ~30 mins to retrieve the needed records from a ledger dump on a rented droplet.
  4. I have been watching the change in this chart over the past week. As a novice I don't totally understand, but it looks to me like it is changing shape for the better ...
  5. Hi Everyone, Looking around for the best XRP App and tracker to use, only finding a couple of useful apps out there for the Ripple users, what would you suggest or use ? Thanks Nick
  6. https://xrpcharts.ripple.com/#/graph ..and how do we use it. i read somewhere we can input our public key to see how many we own?
  7. Hey guys its been a good 24hrs for xrp.. seeing some correction which is normal... my question is do you guys follow any charts or have found any analysis useful to see where the price goes from here.. I would like to buy more but maybe not at the current price so wondering if there are any analysts you guys follow whose charts are somewhat accurate. I know no one really knows where the price is going but some understand the markets better than the others so some guidance will be nice. Thanks
  8. Any comment on this captured on Bitstamp XRD/USD right now? 5 minute view. Is this bots trading? Or what?
  9. Things are not looking too good for XRP at the moment and I'll try to explain why. Like I always say, "to those who think charts are bull**** leave this post NOW." So the XRP / USDT recently broke the long uptrend that was triggered near July 30th, and now heading back down. It has also escaped the flat zone and it is desperately trying to find support near 16.5-17.5 cents (USD). Things are looking terrible right now and we might se some rebound when it reaches 16.8 cents, but that is it. There's higher probability of going down after a short rebound. The reason behind this (I am guessing) may be the a. rise of BTC hogging all the $$ and b. recent introduction of Microsoft's new tech. that'll support ETH blockchains (or EEA). Now if we watch the XRP / BTC line, RSI is indicating STRONG sellouts occuring, but this massive sellout has been going on for a while now. This indicates that not much consumers are supporting XRP at the moment even after the SBI, Bank of England news. XRP/BTC never managed to break the long down trend or even the short one. RSI currently indicates it is the right time to buy, but based on the fact that it is dropping rather than rebounding, tells us that supporters repelled back. Here's my speculation of XRP price, and it doesn't look too good at the moment. Is there any reason why Poloniex, Bittrex, etc. are selling their XRP/BTC for? Because I'm a Korean buyer. Comments are always welcomed.
  10. Hey guys, second post for me and I just felt like I wanted to contribute instead of lurking around and do nothing. I'm charts guy, I have been doing charts for quite some time now and just wanted to share my insight. For those who think 'charts are bull****' please leave this post NOW. So the chart above is the XRP / USDT price at Poloniex, we can observe that the XRP managed to hop onboard in the 'rising trend' that has been triggered after Bitcoin SegWit lock-in (approximate data, I don't have the exact dates). All seems well right? However, XRP is currently trapped in the 17.5-18 cents zone, and no volume is backing XRP up to rise. Here's another bad news. XRP / BTC really needs to step up, it is still trapped in a long down trend which started right after May's big price surge. This could possibly mean that the price of XRP is highly dependent on rise of BTC, not the XRP itself. ETH, on the other hand, recently broke the ETH/BTC downtrend and therefore its price rose significantly when compared to XRP ETC or LTC. To conclude 1) XRP / fiat is highly dependent on BTC's price 2) In order for XRP to rocket, XRP / BTC needs to 'step up a notch' and break the long downtrend that started in May. Here's my speculation on XRP's price. Comments?
  11. I've been lurking around the forum since March, etc. and have been reading everything I can get my hands on so I have a fair idea of what's going on... BUT I'm not 100% on what this chart means although I have an idea, if anyone could help would be appreciated as I imagine it's important Thanks and hodl!
  12. I post this earlier in another thread but would like to see whether this proposal gets enough proponents to effectively make a modification on the https://xrpcharts.ripple.com/#/ We all know that the ‘total xrp’ is the the total supply minus the xrp’s burnt, the reason why we are speaking of a deflationary currency. Another element which is not spoken of is the reserve needed for activating an account. I made a quick calculation here. As you can see this amount is much higher than the burnt xrp. The reserve needed is also taken out of circulation. This way the actual deflation rate becomes higher. Could this have an added value when integrating into the charts?
  13. Here's what I'm looking at: Payment Volume stronger than it EVER has been... Does this mean that the adoption of XRP for Forex and Payments has now taken off like a rocketship through the stratosphere? If I'm right, you all know what this means, right?
  14. Hello, it would be nice to be able to see RCL markets on tradingview, right? A lot of traders use it, I bet some of this community uses TV's polo charts to track XRP. Vote at: http://gsfn.us/t/50e20 Here is a sample of how it looks like: This is not the same thing as this request: https://getsatisfaction.com/tradingview/topics/please_add_ripple_xrp_to_tradingview?utm_source=notification&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=new_reply&utm_content=topic_link XRP was added to TV by adding Kraken and Polo markets, I am pushing the addition of RCL markets, like RIppex, Gatehub, Ripplefox, Mr. Ripple, etc
  15. Hi guys, On Gatehub today, I notice that lot of charts are frozen with no real time value and nothing is moving anymore, especially for the USD/XRP which has moved a lot today, but remains frozen on Gatehub exchange plafform. The EUR/XRp on the other hand is correct and real live. When i'm comparing with any other exchange platforms such as bitstamp, all the charts live and accurate. It's kind of annoying for the daily trading on Gatehub then. Any reasons or technical problems today ? Cheers
  16. Take a look at this tx: https://charts.ripple.com/#/transactions/EF67C6E6125B276150911158AA170AB693ADC59884D2BA2FEC9090087A91FEA2 It says: It is talking in UTC terms when the order was created. But then if you look at expiration: Here you see that some other time zone probably is used, I guess SF. I would suggest changing everything to UTC. No point in using SF time for global settlement network... Also date/time formatting is different. I would suggest using the first one, because this second date formatting can be misleading to non-americans. Also order books in charts are displaying expired orders. I should take into account expiration before displaying the order.
  17. Hi All, We're looking into the possibility of creating a site dedicated to real-time information about XRP with integrated dynamic charts, news, and social network metrics among other things. Think features of RippleCharts, CrytoCompare, CoinMarketCap, etc. I don't want to be too specific about what features would be included (although we have many) because we want initial offerings to be suggested by the community. If the community doesn't want such a site, that's okay, our feelings won't be hurt. We don't want to build something that people won't use/find useful. Here are a couple ideas of potential future offerings from XRPTips: 1) Simple Hot Wallet and Cold Wallet applications 2) Email/text alerts (for example account monitor) 3) Filterable transaction metrics (for example if you only want to look at TrustLines or OfferCreates) Some features would be free, and some would be available by one-time subscription fee. Please let us know: a ) what features you would most like to see on such a site b ) what features you would be willing to pay a subscription fee for
