  1. And you thought Bitcoin hard Forks were bad: https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/monero-just-hard-forked-and-it-resulted-four-new-projects/ Just shows the increasing importance of and need for coins that focus on responsible governance and have such mechanisms built into their crypto networks to avoid the fracturing of projects.
  2. Hey guys new to this forum. Hope all is well with you guys. I'm hyped on Ripple just like all you men and women on here are I got Ripple in many exchanges, but don't feel its safe. So my question is what is the best route to safely store your Ripple coins?
  3. Coinbase just added Bitcoin Cash to their support. After they did that, they halted trading because too much traffic LOL.
  4. Bloom's main mission is to introduce a global credit system. They are still in their coin sale but will be ending January 1st. That is when they will rollout their initial phase 1 of testing their network. I find their mission one that can potentially disrupt the credit industry. They seem to have a solid team and have a ton of partnerships already. Does anyone hav eany other recommendations for cryptos in the credit industry?
  5. I'm starting to think the bitcoin forks a big scam and are screwing all the other Altcoins Anyone have the same feelings or thoughts?
  6. Hello, I was looking at the ICO Blockcat CAT. I am wondering. it seems it can get some interest. Any inside on them?
  7. I think we're juat about to see the massess flood out of bitcoin. Good to see that xrp is finally getting dragged along with the momentum....
  8. Tokens soon to be delisted by Yunbi: QTUM, GXS, EOS, ANS, DGD, 1ST, GNT, REP, SNT, OMG, PAY, LUN
  9. any of you guys have any idea about bitconnect coin? it's rising merrily and investors are having a gala time for the past few months. is it speculation? scam? can't seem to comprehend its swing. cheers!

  11. Hi there, I'm kind of new to ripple and cryptocurrency, but I'm ready to start the journey with you guys! With all the hype about cryptocurrencies I've started to look into a few coins and came to the conclusion that Ripple and XRP would have the most value in the future. I'm a believer of the project. But I have a few questions about the other currencies. Is it correct that most of the other cryptocurrencies are in the hands of the miners or at least started off that way? And isn't it pretty 'dangerous' that way? What's all the fuzz about that a coin needs to be decentralized when it will always be in the hands of big businesses and some hobbyists in some way or another. And what's holding miners back from switching out a coin (and dumping it) when all of it is mined? Meaning transaction times will be slower, transactions will be less secure etc.? Also I see a lot of value in xrp in the future. Banks would want to make millions of transactions in the future and with every transaction a little xrp gets consumed, so naturally would like to invest in xrp early while the price is still low right? I'm with you guys for the next few years. If I have it all wrong just tell me. I'm here to get myself educated Thanks!
  12. So, I've cashed out my initial investment into ripple and sitting on a nice stash for the future. Best investment I ever made at this point. I only got involved because it was all you could trade on Bitstamp except bitcoin and the returns appeared to have much more potential. Which was correct. Now, I'm looking for the next train. I see cryptos as a better store of wealth the fiat currency due to appreciation and not depreciation like fiat. I have a several thousand stellar, some ETH and Bitcoin as a result of trading XRP. What other coins do people suggest for long term holdings, either new and existing? I do day trade but generally loose although I do like the excitement. I'm looking at maybe taking part in my first ICO and am considering Tezos, Status and Aragon. Does anyone have any opinions on these or other ICOs to look out for? I like the Tezos team and am still researching others. I do have concerns about ICOs, that they will just get dumped when they come on the market, disappear or run of with my coin. However, I am happy to take some risk. Any suggestions? What are people looking into. I post this here as I like the community and generally the advice is very knowledgeable.
  13. Seeing the POLO DDOS (?)/SCAMs repeating and feeling the agony of those losing their entire wealth (see POLO trollbox) I feel it is time the community stood up and made sure something happens. I believe that traders deserve a FAIR marketplace, FREE of the very possibility of these. We need an exchange that is distributed and can not be manipulated, tampered with and can not be attacked. A place where traders can take their earnings/savings/invest their shirts with confidence, that it will be possible to trade and they will be able to transact and not have to helplessly watch their investment being burnt in a matter of an hour. I would like to call all those who morally agree with this initiative for whatever the reasons, personal loss or just sympathy, to comment on the idea. First off, I'd like to assess what the general perception of the demand for such an exchange is. I have some ideas of the key requirements myself, but would like to invite you to comment without influencing inputs. The technology will be there and parts of it are already available, separately. I believe something like this requires smart contracts and transactions can be done through the ILP.. I will be looking into this as I see a market gap. Am I the only one???
  14. @tomb @AmericanXRP If you both watched the entire video you will realize a) XAGATE has a unique opportunity to potentially partner with Silver Bullet SIlver Shield to create an innovative alliance we are both part of the sound money movement (what an awesome typo now it is a proper thread now!) c) we are both part of the liberty movement d) how can you not see this? f) please watch TruthNeverTold's Son's of Liberty Academy then and wake up or watch the content on his channel an perhaps reread my content then f) study monetary history and quantity currency vs sound money cyclic rotation of free market dominance. Too long for the chat box of course. Gives us all an opportunity to properly discuss. Maybe get Chris Duane, David Morgan, Mike Maloney, @JoelKatz, @nikb @mDuo13 in here too with @Vinnie (??). The absolute best PR stunt right now would be Brad and Chris to respond to this thread.
  15. In the case of mandatory KYC requirements by global govetnments (which is bound to happen at some stage )and heavy fines for non complying Alt coin companies, i think XRP will get direct benefit as i think its one of very few companies ( or may be only one) who is compliant with KYC now. And lot of new buys can jump in because of closure of other altcoin companies. Please share your opinions..
  16. I am beginning the buildout of a new social network for the crypto community called Corner, and am looking for people with something to say. Specifically, I'm looking for an opinion from the Ripple community as to how Ripple technology can help serve the underbanked. Obviously Ripple's technology has proven very innovative and very interesting to the banking industry. But I'm interested also on new takes and opinions to any aspect of Ripple technology. Feel free to ask questions, and if you have any content you'd be willing to share, email me at cornercrypto1@gmail.com You can also find information about my website here: http://www.cryptocorner.net/
  17. Everyone has a new year's resolution. It could be losing weight, getting that 6 pack, quitting something like smoking, bad language and you get the drift. What about crypto. Is there something anyone would like to do differently or try something new with dc's. Could be taking bigger risks maybe.
