Hi, I downloaded the Toast Wallet app on my Iphone 5s and after having sent 45XRP to it, it still hasn't activated. I see the transaction in "transactions" but the account still say "not activated yet" behind it. It also tells me that i am using the offline version and need IOS 11 for the online version, however iOS 11 doesn't even exist for my phone yet. The latest software update is the one i have which is iOS 10.3.3. I really don't understand what i am supposed to do to activate my wallet. It says it should activate after transferring 20XRP to it but that hasn't activated mine yet. When i look at a tutorial on YouTube the guy's wallet is instantly activated after transferring 21XRP. What is going on?

Hi guys, i've created an account with GateHub, i've already confirmed and verified the account and i've created the gateway through which deposit the fund... in fact i've deposited about 500€ with the bank but when gatehub received the funds they started sending me email saying there was a "missing trustline". So what i discovered is that i need to activate the account with 20XRP before being able to set a trustline. I can't buy that 20XRP unless gatehub will do it for me cause my funds are blocked for the missing trustline. How do i buy the 20XRP for the activation if my funds are still pending? Does gatehub do it automatically for me? Thank you for help!!! (i sent the bank payment about 4 days ago) Edoardo

Hello, I am new to Ripple and thought the best (easiest) place to get started would be Gatehub. However, the whole process is very confusing and unclear, and I am not sure exactly how it works and how long it takes; I apologize in advance as I understand similar questions might have already been asked, but still could not make sense of it. First of all, how does the 20XRP minimum requirement work, and how can I start trading XRP if I need XRP to start trading? Secondly, I already own BTC and thought I would transfer them over so that I keep everything in one place. Also figured I could then use those BTC to buy the initial 20XRP required. However, when I click on the "Deposit/Receive" link in the picture below Nothing happens, as my browser (tried with both Internet Explorer and Chrome) gets stuck on the page below Has this happened to anyone else before? Is it a technical issue caused by something on my end, or could it be due to activation issues on Gatehub's side? Thanks everyone!

So im basically a newbie and im afraid i might of lost 100$ worth of btc already... First things first. I created a gatehub account then what i did was buy btc from coinbase.com , so i bought 100 worth of btc. Since im new to all of this i didnt know i had to activate my wallet first on gatehub... I already transferred my btc to my disabled wallet? My questions are will i lose those?will they appear once i activate wallet? And third, can someone please safe me the trouble to buy xrp from other website..? I been going crazy trying to buy xrp but with no success. Thank you for your time . Hey, I opened my Gatehub account in early December and sent of all the documents to verify me, this week i decided i would send some ETH to my gatehub account. Coinbase says the transaction is complete, but the ETH is not showing up on gatehub. I'm trying to activate the trust line for ETH but I keep getting an error. Now i think i know how to solve the trust line issue by depositing 20 XRP into the account, but how do I do this if i cant use the ETH i sent to Gatehub to get XRP? So I decided to send some ETH to my gatehub account from Coinbase .The transaction is complete, but the ETH is not showing up on gatehub. I must still activate my Gatehub wallet by adding 25XRP to the wallet. Now i've heard that Gatehub will give my wallet 20 XRP to activate it, but i'm not sure if this true? If I activated the account myself with 25 XRP would gatehub then give me another 20 XRP aswell or would i receive nothing? My current amount of ETH wouldnt be worth more than the XRP needed to activate the account, so it all a bit iffy at the minute.

To be honest I don't like the whole dissing of newbies when they ask for the 20 XRP to get their wallet activated. If they're new they should be made to feel welcome and politely told that asking for XRP is against the rules, then shown the proper steps for getting their account set up. I can't even remember how I got my Gatehub account up and running - through blind faith - and even then I remember having a shortfall of .5 XRPS or something to activate the account (or so I thought).

Hi All, Im pretty new to this but hope i can explain myself clear enough for someone to help me out. I bought some XRP a while back on kraken and have been told to put it into a more secure place, like a gate hub wallet. so thats what i did. thing is, i didn't check out that there was a procedure in place for activating your wallet so now i seem to have 50 XRP of my wallet frozen! not the best, seeing as XRP is really starting to pick up steam. could someone tell me if there is a way i could request the activation fund that gate hub would have normally sent across, retrospectively?? then again i may be pretty confused about the whole thing and have the complete wrong end of the stick. anyway, if anyone could help me out that'd be great.

Is my coin safe in an exchange server? I'm still not clear on how to activate my wallet. I saw there is a way using a paypal method, but I'm not too sure about it. So, I know that a fraction of an XRP gets destroyed with every transaction, slowly whittling away at the total amount of XRP in circulation, but what about the 20 XRP that are required to activate Ripple Wallets? My understanding is that that 20 XRP is unrecoverable, so in essence every wallet that is activated is removing 20 XRP from circulation. So, the deflation rate is actually higher than the XRP destruction rate, correct? -
I am so lost and clueless and I have spent hours researching and I am so confused. I am really hoping someone on this forum can give me some insight. Back in 2014, I (believe) I purchased XRP. I have a phrase, username, and most importantly, a key. Unfortunately I do not know where I originally went to purchase XRP. Last night I went on the worldexchange.net and plugged in my key. I found out that my account was not yet activated. So here’s my question: did I actually purchase the XRP even though I never activated my wallet or does that mean I never had any XRP to begin with?? I could swear I remember purchasing XRP but I’m now unsure if you can purchase the XRP before activating your wallet. Help this novice out!! Thanks!

Hi all, I am new to the forum. Been an xrp holder for a while though. I have been involved and am holding/ trading other cryptos as well so I have an understanding of this market etc. I had recently purchased a NANO S wallet where I set it up etc. I added ripple on the wallet did the whole 'shabang'. Today I had then decided after reading the forums- as well as taking note of the ripple wallet activation fee - that I was going to deposit a some of my ripple into the nano wallet for safe keeping. I had done so as well as the transaction said it went through from the exchange- I have used this exchange numerously and I have never had a problem. I went to my nano wallet opened it up and a big fat zero is still sitting there. I looked on bithomp and it says the address that I have still needs to be activated. Actions I have taken: 1. Sent a mail to ledger support 2. Currently the exchange I use are investigating the matter 3. Contemplating on activating my wallet through bithomp - not sure if I should. 4.Have restarted and reinstalled the xrp app 5. Restarted my pc Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi guys, new member here. Registered with Gatehub a few days ago as I want to invest so money in ripple. My wallet is has been locked and saying it needs 20XRP to function so i`m not able to deposit any funds to trade for XRP. On the forum it says that you only need to be verified and have a phone number on, and you will automatically receive the 20XRP required to start trading. Well, i have received the confirmation email, saying that "Account verified on GateHub Fifth" , i have a phone number on the account, and all the required documents have been uploaded, but I still didn`t got the 20XRP. Do you know what`s the issue, and what the solution to it could be?

HI guys, I have one question. I'm new at gatehub, and i want to transfer xrp that i bought on kraken to gatehub. The validation of the wallet on gatehub is still pending. I tried to transfer funds from kraken with the offered address to deposit xrp on my wallet but with no success... so my question is... do i have to wait till the authorization is complete (it takes really long) or is possible to transfer xrp from kraken to gatehub no matter if the authorization is pending or not? Hi there, Last night I activated my XRP wallet on bithomp. I sent 0.0028 BTC in order to do this, which I calculated at the time to be about 70XRP. Checking my wallet (on bithomp) it has indeed been activated and has 20XRP. Is this discrepancy an activation fee that bithomp charge? The link I used for bithomp was the one provided in the beginners/how-to post series; but I wasn't able to find mention of an activation charge associated with bithomp. Cheers

Hello, I am new to Gatehub. I am have had my account verified and I am just wondering if the wallet will be activated automatically or if I have to buy XRP elsewhere. I mean that kind of beats the point of using this exchange. I have other crypto I would like to trade but I cannot use it until XRP is in the wallet. Any advice other than buying XRP from a different exchange first is welcome. Thank you!

Hi all, I have Tier 3 verification on Kraken and just got my account verified on Gatehub. I want to fund my Gatehub wallet from my US bank account but it says I need 20 XRP in my wallet. Does this imply I'll be able to use a service on Gatehub to wire money once my account has 20 XRP? Seems like a catch 22 that I need XRP in my wallet to do anything but I can't do anything without having any XRP! Kraken is giving me an "insufficient documentation" error when I attempt to deposit money. I have already sent a support request to Kraken on this issue but have not yet heard back. My bank account has been approved by Kraken too so I know I have the correct account and routing numbers entered. All this being said, how can I most most cost efficiently fund my Gatehub wallet with XRP? My goal is to set up multiple cold wallets that each hold XRP and retain my Gatehub wallet to make any other exchange trades with other currencies. Any help is appreciated, thank you!

Hello, I submitted my passport/bank statement to verify my identity on gatehub, all I want to do is withdraw my USD on gatehub through a wire to my personal bank account, it says its pending gateway activation (up to 5 days), I did this 5 days ago, and contacted support but haven't received a reply yet. Any chance any gatehub admins come by here or anyone else went through a similar situation and resolved this quickly? Thank you for your time!

Hi gals and guys I'm having trouble sending funds out of a paper wallet: I bought 350 XRP on bitstamp, created a paper wallet and sent 250 XRP to my newly generated public key raysN6WHAEcqYGoswar556v7CGJ5poTb6X. As far as I've understood, this deposit should activate my wallet. Now I've downloaded jatchili's minimalist client, punched in my secret key, hit "set identity", conected to ripple and tried to send my 250 XRP back to bitstamp. (Curiously my account balance in jatchili's is quoted as 250 million instead of just 250.) When I hit "send" I get the following error-response: ""engine_result":"tecUNFUNDED_PAYMENT","engine_result_code":104,"engine_result_message":"Insufficient XRP balance to send." I subsequently tried lower amounts such as "249999950" or just "250"with jatchili's, to no avail. I then checked on my public key using https://ripple.com/build/ripple-info-tool/ and can see my failed transactions there. Can someone help me out what I am missing and how I can move my 250 XRP back into bitstamp? Thanks a bunch

Im gettin desperate... Im a little late getting on the ripple train and it seems like all giveaway promos, etc. to get you 20 XRP and your wallet activated are outdated. Where did you get your fix? Any service or promo that's still active to get you started with 20 XRP? I tried signing up on bitstamp, but the exchange rate/fees there are just ridicolous. On the off chance that at the current rate there is a generous gentleman or gentlewoman?! that is looking for a chance to do good today.
