  1. Rumor works very well in this kind of (volatile) environment..
  2. Hi guys, I just want to share response from SEC regarding to my questions about XRP.(Why SEC sided with top two crypto and declared them non security but did nothing about XRP and the others?) Dear .......... Thank you for contacting the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). In your email to the SEC, you state the SEC has "declared [Bitcoin and Ethereum] as non security crypto" and appear to ask why the SEC has not made a determination about Ripple (XRP). As an initial matter, please be advised that notwithstanding any enforcement actions taken by the SEC, the SEC has not made a determination as to whether any specific cryptocurrency may be deemed a "security" under the federal securities laws. Based on my review of the matter, it appears you may be referencing recent public statements made by certain SEC employees about cryptocurrency matters. For example, William Hineman, the director of the SEC's Division of Corporate FInance, made remarks concerning his opinions about Ethereum and Bitcoin at a Yahoo Finance All Markets Summit, These remarks are available at https://www.sec.gov/news/speech/speech-hinman-061418. As you may be aware, Director Hineman's remarks included a disclaimer: The Securities and Exchange Commission disclaims responsibility for any private publication or statement of any SEC employee or Commissioner. This speech expresses the author’s views and does not necessarily reflect those of the Commission, the Commissioners or other members of the staff. For an overview of the SEC's work in this area, you may be interested in reviewing our Spotlight on Initial Coin Offerings, available at https://www.sec.gov/ICO. The SEC’s Office of Investor Education and Advocacy processes many comments from individual investors and others. We keep records of the correspondence we receive in a searchable database that SEC staff may make use of in inspections, examinations, and investigations. In addition, some of the correspondence we receive is referred to other SEC offices and divisions for their review. If they have any questions or wish to respond directly to your comments, they will contact you. Please let me know if you have any further questions by replying to this email or as noted below, and once again, thank you for contacting the SEC. 4. HONG KONG (Reuters) - HSBC Holdings Plc (HSBA.L) said on Monday it had performed the world’s first trade finance transaction using blockchain technology, a major step in boosting efficiency and reducing errors in the multi-trillion-dollar funding of international trade. HSBC and Dutch bank ING successfully completed the transaction for food and agricultural group Cargill, the British lender said in a statement. The use of blockchain technology in the banking industry is expected to reduce the risk of fraud in letters of credit and other transactions as well as cut down on the number of steps used.

  11. We all know the risks. It's part of the life. But controlled media can not manipulate our opinion about cryptos. Most of us have more knowledge than paid journalist. We all know that, this is new and unknown territory but if you think it's dangerous, you should stay away..
