  1. Does Ripple have 3-5 years?

I may be new to crypto but I am certainly not new to investing and building startups. This is not FUD. It is a legitimate question. As I mentioned I own XRP and understand what they are trying to do, but as an Investor you have to think with your head and not your heart. Players like Swift, VISA etc. who are much more entrenched than Ripple will not sit around and let a start up like Ripple take over in 3-5 years. Just trying to start an intellectual conversation about the topic nothing more.
  2. As an XRP holder and a general observer of crypto a thought crossed my mind this morning. With all of the emerging technologies and partnerships in the space, does Ripple really have 3-5 years to accomplish their goal of XRP being the standard for cross border payments? Here is a list of some companies I believe are competing with Ripple. Forgive me if I am wrong. I am new to the space. Red Belly Blockchain http://poseidon.it.usyd.edu.au/~concurrentsystems/rbbc/ Monetago https://monetago.com Visa + Chain https://www.coindesk.com/visa-blockchain-payments-service/ Swift https://www.swift.com/our-solutions/global-financial-messaging/payments-cash-management/swift-gpi Chainlink https://link.smartcontract.com/#chainlink R3 Corda https://www.r3.com Mastercard https://www.coindesk.com/mastercard-hints-plans-blockchain-settlement-system/
  3. Lets get excited again people! This is a huge challenge Ripple has undertaken and it will take time to come to fruition. They are on the right track. SBI explains the how they are benefiting by using XRP from pages 112 to 114.http://www.sbigroup.co.jp/english/investors/disclosure/presentation/pdf/171026presentations.pdf
  4. Hey Brad...

It seems to me that you are trying to bait the public into investing in XRP by spreading fake news. No Ripple did not win the R3 lawsuit as suits in NY and LA are alive and well. Your "cat out the bag" comment prior to Swell was completely misleading. Frankly, I am losing faith in you as a CEO and gaining confidence in you as an agent of propaganda. You have a tremendous team and game change technology yet you pander to traders with your ill timed comments. You owe them nothing.! Shut up and do not get drawn in to making stupid statements by silly internet rumors to satisfy people who have no intention of making a long term commitment to your company. . Let the accomplishments of Ripple speak for themselves. If you want liquidity get XRP on Coinbase. Expand your network of market makers, break down the barriers of entry for the average consumer to purchase XRP in the USA. These are the actions you need to pursue that will create value for XRP in the long run. A true investor who believes in Ripple knows this is a long term project so stop feeling that you have to address the rumors from short term traders. We understand the problem with remittance, we are aware of the size of the industry and speed at which it moves, we know regulations take time and you are working hard at that so stay focused on the end game and get the job done. Facts trump (No pun intended) fake news every time, so I will be sitting back sipping on a glass of Chianti waiting for the real groundSWELL to happen. Stay focused my friend.
  5. I think the market has reacted the wrong way to the comments from the panel of bankers. I actually view them as positive. You must understand the technology is new for banks and crypto itself is a new and unregulated space. What is encouraging is the banks want to use Ripple's technology today. As they become comfortable with transmitting money using Ripple, the natural progression is the utilization of XRP. For the lady to say there is currently no demand for XRP is not a bad thing. It is true, because bankers must first become comfortable with the technology, which is happening today, and then take the next step with clarity from regulators with regards to the use of a cryptocurrency within the banking structure. IMO, XRP is best positioned to capitalize on these eventualities. Banking and government are two notoriously slow institutions, but when this learning period is over and regulations are set with regards to cryptocurrencies, we can all meet at our destination of choice for one huge celebration.

  10. Hi All, I have been following this forum for quite some time and I am upset this has to be my first post but I need some advice. I typically buy XRP on Kraken and send it directly to my Nano S. I have completed this process 5 times. However I sent 910 XRP to my nano and it never showed up. I contacted Kraken and received this response: Hi, I'm showing your transaction was successfully broadcast and included in the Ripple ledger. You can view the transaction details at this link: If you have not yet been credited these funds, please contact your wallet provider for further support. If we can be of any assistance, please let us know. I contacted Ledger and received this response: Thank you for your message. We'll review your request and will make our best to answer the faster we can, from a few hours up to (really) much more days depending on the number of queries we receive. Note that Ledger is located in Paris, France, CEST time zone, and our team works from Monday to Friday, and from 9am to 6pm. And often many more. If we do not answer as fast as we'd like to, please be patient, we won't forget you... Note that crypto-currencies are an expanded shaking market, with more and more users asking relevant and, sometimes, frenetic questions. Here is your ticket ID, in any case: Is there anything else I can do regarding this matter while I await a response form Ledger? Regards,
