  1. Over?... It's not over! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q7vtWB4owdE
  2. Crap...Bought more today@ .44. I should have read Chewie’s post earlier. It’s buy high and sell low...right?
  3. Great Recap of Ripple news and achievements this year. Thanks for the research Also I love your Wii Kart 8 video game!
  4. So well articulated by Dilip... Question: As XRP becomes the liquidity solution, what factor(s) drive the price of XRP from $1.00 to $10,000. It seems XRP could remain at $1.00 and all would work fine. Is something other than trader sentiment driving XRP higher. Any help would be great Thanks
  5. Ripple the business will continue to grow and prosper. XRP’s value is shifting from popular sentiment to supply and demand. Moneygram will be a good test case of value as they demand a supply of XRP for transactions. We will watch the markets reaction.
  6. "The agreement between Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) and US-based financial technology company Ripple in managing a cross-border transaction of local banks will translate to savings of roughly $200-$400 million per year system-wide, according to credit rating agency Moody's." I would say the bank manager would be pleased. This is a first step as: "The agreement does not include the company's digital currency (XRP) or the purchase of shares in it, but the project is limited to the experience of transfers between local banks and some banks involved in service in other countries to accelerate these trans-boundary transfers.
  7. I read this group almost everyday. I thought I would share some thoughts as I strongly agree with the answer to the email. My expertise is the technical side of television and film. I've seen many cycles of disruptive technologies. HD, 2K, 4K, 3D, UHD, streaming, and the complete erasure of motion picture film as a storage medium. Thirty years ago Kodak manufactured film. They "knew" they were in control of every foot of film for every still and motion picture camera in the world. When Kodak heard the rumblings of digital cameras storing images on silicone chips, they closed their eyes. Their logic was: there's no problem. Film is easy, stores images, provides motion pictures and memories for millions of people around the globe. Film just keeps getting better. What could replace film, Digital Cameras are a fad. This mindset brought Kodak to its knees. By the time they got their act together it was too late. Today I see Fintech with the same mindset as Kodak thirty years ago. We don't have a problem. We store money in computers, transfer funds around the world, exchange currencies, provide loans for mom and dad and lollipops for the kids. There's no problem. We have film! Here's why Ripple will succeed. Ripple is embracing Kodak: the manufacture of all the film in the world...Ripple is providing Kodak the tool-set for the new digital workflow. Once Kodak has the hang of the digital workflow and feel they're in control, Ripple will provide the silicon chips to store the images; and then the workflow will crank up into high gear. Ripple is leading Kodak to success. Ripple workflow and XRP specifically is world rattling disruptive. As the writer of the email correctly explains.."However, it’s about power and control – who gets to control what activity, not about how efficiently some activity gets done.." Money-changers around the world are shaking in their boots. It's Jamie Diamond's idiotic statements regarding Bitcoin. Jamie is afraid and arrogant about losing control. https://www.cnbc.com/2018/01/09/jamie-dimon-says-he-regrets-calling-bitcoin-a-fraud.html To the many members here who correctly point out: it's a no brain-er with cost savings, liquidity and efficiencies for banks to adopt XRP. Why would they choose not to use it?... As the writer states ...it’s about power and control. You never give the keys to the Corvette to the sixteen year old first... he or she will feel out of control. Drive the Station Wagon around for awhile first.. To me the big news was the appointment of Chris to the IMF. https://www.imf.org/en/News/Articles/2017/03/15/pr1784-imf-managing-director-welcomes-establishment-of-high-level-advisory-group-on-fintech. The IMF controls the flow of the worlds' money... and they brought Chris into their fold. Do you see a pattern here... HODL. XRP will be worth trillions... sooner than we think. Good to see the Chicken... On a side note re: the recent Bearableguy123 discussion... Here's a clip of Managing Director of the IMF Christine Lagarde's Message in 2014. Best to everyone in the group. We are not in Kansas anymore!
  8. Louis Winthorpe III: Think big, think positive, never show any sign of weakness. Always go for the throat. Buy low, sell high or HODL. Fear? That's the other guy's problem. Nothing you have ever experienced will prepare you for the unlimited carnage you are about to witness. Superbowl, World Series - they don't know what pressure is. In this building, it's either kill or be killed. You make no friends in the pits and you take no prisoners. One moment you're up half a mil in XRP and the next, boom, your kids don't go to college and they've repossessed your Lambo. Are you with me? Billy Ray Valentine: Yeah, we got to HODL HODL HODL
  9. Well said... I remember when 20% growth in stocks over a year was fantastic..(still is) In crypto, some traders sell their entire stack if they don't see 20% growth for the week! Ripple is beyond any annual growth I've experienced in twenty years of investing...and the train is just leaving the station. HODL young one, HODL !!!
  10. https://oracletimes.com/ripple-xrp-someone-just-bought-700-million-usd-in-xrp-major-investment/ I guess Ripple could transfer 700M USD to “buy” XRP, but if they already own it... maybe I’m missing something...
  11. I’m not sure if Amazon needs exact change for a transaction.. . I think what’s exciting for Amazon or McDonalds or Apple, or Uber or Boeing (pick your business) is the idea of conducting thousands of transactions a second, reducing the amount of capital tied up in foreign accounts, and owning complete transparency and accountability for franctions of pennies...That’s exciting. That’s worth investing. As companies, institutions, and governments realize the value add of Ripples infrastructure and corresponding digital asset, trillions of XRP will be needed. We just saw one financial institution purchase 0.9 Billion XRP which ignited the share price from .25 to over $1.00 in 3 days.
