  6. Looks like some positive crypto news out of Hong Kong https://news.livecoinwatch.com/regulate-cryptocurrency-exchanges/
  7. Excellent article, learnt so much. I wonder if Bill Clinton will read this before his keynote speech at Swell ?
  8. Don't care what the outragers believe BUT my best advice for Ripple is KEEP OUT OF POLITICS. This is an extremely poor decision.
  9. or maybe he just rocked up at the wrong event... meant to be at the ogecoin one ???
  10. I've been using Kraken for a few years now, and never had a problem that they didn't tell me about in advance.
  11. Article seems to be an advertorial for Swift, and appears to even be written by them (1st person plural "we"). Probably shouldn't read too much into it?
  12. Would be best to use the Ripple escrow feature https://www.xrpchat.com/topic/3474-how-do-i-use-the-new-escrow-feature/ Don't ask me how it works though
  13. Yes and then if that data is considred illegal by anyone, all those that participate in the blockchain are considered responsible. Wow, our " authorities" are drawing a very long bow here, which could be a major disruptor to applicable blockchains!
  14. A picture says a 1000 words..(ref: taken from https://bravenewcoin.com/news/bitcoin-price-analysis-all-eyes-on-us11500/ ) "Mt. Gox bankruptcy trustee, Nobuaki Kobayashi, moved 36,000 BTC, which according to the wallet address transaction times, was sold in five lots between December and February. Those transactions directly correlate with drops in the BTC price (white asterisk)."
  15. Agree, and the low fees, and I quote "as low as 2.5%", on their homepage, where they also happen to show a screen shot of credit card fees at 3.9%, that turns out to be 6.9% in reality! Oh, also there is a zero ($0) transaction fee but a "mining fee" of 2 XRP . Certainly doesn't leave a good taste in my mouth.
  16. BTW: Here's my token from Zim. Now to figure out how to issue an ICO backed by XRP...
  17. Oops this is not looking too flash (hopefully is an error!!)
  18. Western Australia, and don't forget to pass by the Vegemite Ripplers
  19. Isn't this crash simply caused by the South Korean crisis (outright crypto ban)? Also, it's affecting all cryptos across the board, and not XRP alone, and so speculation unique to Ripple isn't relevant?
  20. Have a look at New Ripple client/wallet: The World Exchange on this forum
  21. Does anyone know why the Korean exchanges' XRP prices (in USD) are so much higher than the others?
  22. Scam alert? https://www.reddit.com/r/Ripple/comments/7nbet0/xrp_to_cash_in_korea_with_centra_cryptocurrency/
  23. Good question Pat. I've just gone through this process with https://www.btcmarkets.net/ Transferred some XRP to my BTC Markets account over the holiday. Sold for AUD on their exchange (which still has very low liquidity, so beware of placing any "market" orders!). Started the withdrawal process for AUD yesterday (note: was a public holiday). I was withdrawing to a Commwealth Bank personal account. Withdrawal immediately went "pending", and today around midday was flagged "processed" and this evening the amount appeared in my Comm Bank account. Not bad, as I'm sure they were VERY busy today, however it was only for $2,000 so I'm not sure about larger amounts etc.. There are others which I haven't tried, for example https://www.coinspot.com.au - seem to offer a vast range of coins to exchange, but only accept deposits for a very limited range? https://www.livingroomofsatoshi.com/ - interesting one, claims to be able to pay Australian BPAY bills, or bank and credit card accounts. Seems very pricey to me though, even though they claim differently.
