  1. I was not sure if you were aware that some of us were excluded from representation by the attorney that Gatehub hired on behalf of the victims. I am one of them. I know I am not the only one that was excluded. I never received an email from them or their attorney. My understanding is they are only representing 43 victims. I was hacked EXACTLY the same way as everyone else. I emailed Gatehub to ask them why I would be excluded and they refused to respond. I emailed them no less than 5 times. Per their “Blog” You could reach out to the Judge in Paris. I live in the U.S. You can not speak to a judge in France without an attorney. You have no idea the degree of difficulty It is to try and find an attorney in another country. I reached out to many lawyers with no response. It is unfortunate Gatehub would choose to do this.
  2. Good to see you made it here, sorry for the circumstances. Just curious to know seeing that you were not hacked until Nov. Did you receive any notice from Gatehub regarding the hack or database leak in June or where you not aware of it until you got hacked ? Also wanted to share the private group here for the victims in addition to this thread.
  3. I wonder if your email could be have been hacked from another site unless it was exclusive to Gatehub. I am not sure the poster is correct about the dates, I am like you I prefer not to download the database. I do think this database and possibly others may have been leaked before and we were never made aware of it . I also believe we are being played by some posters on here who may have a hidden agenda to try and convince us of what happened, we are not law enforcement so I am not sure why they are intent on doing so.

  5. Same situation with this wallet holder back in 2016. Yet again this wallet holders issue never addressed and he is told it is his fault. It so convenient for Gatehub to just dismiss these claims and not investigate. This is one of many. Same crap.
  6. Just curious, when was the wallet they hacked created ? I am wondering if it was an issue with earlier wallets, mine was created in 2016.
  7. Yes I am positive. Even if it was 2017 database I had changed my email 2 times since then but also none of the wallets that were hacked were accessed by using log in credentials. My Gatehub log in records confirm that on the day my wallet was hacked it shows no login entries. Maybe some one here on the forum who is familiar with databases can look closer at the database. However one of the members on Raidforums stated this.
  8. Yes, I sure was. I actually put my password in Have I been pawned Site and it came up as Not pawned and neither was the email. I also went back and confirmed previous passwords and emails used for Gatehub and again none were showing not pawned.
  9. I Appreciate this. Out of all the gd high volume wallets why could you not have just hacked Chris Larson or Brad Garlinghouse wallets. I mean damn, really, why you gotta take out us small guys. Just so you know Gatehub does not give a shit. These were not their coins that were stolen. You all should probably consider thanking them for indirectly helping you.
  10. Is this you on raid forums? Are you Gnosticplayers that previously posted his confession here ? I am not fluent with how the hashes were cracked, are you refuting or agreeing with what this individual posted here on Raidforums in regards to Hashkiller.couk complicity in this ? What I would really like to know is when exactly this 2017 database was stolen ?
  11. This is correct. I used an email address that was exclusive for Gatehub only. I also changed email address 3 times over a two year period, with the most recent being 2 months before the hack. I also changed the passwords each time using 18 characters and not passphrase.
  12. So basically the hack is still ongoing, Unbelievable. I know a few of the exchanges were responsive and some funds were frozen. Mine were sent to ChangeNow. It looks like there are over 500 wallet addresses still unclaimed.
  13. Yes, I would definitely try and get the advice of lawyers in the UK/EU. I think they are termed Barristers, Solicitors. Different laws may apply to UK residents. You could do a search for those that are fluent and experienced in cryptocurrency law, class action. At least they could start you in the right direction and you can usually do a online/phone call and evaluate your case.
  14. I was also hoping for some clarity too. As for cashed out do they mean XRP converted to another currency or converted to flat. Are they attempting to freeze those wallets as well? We deserve transparency as to the amount of funds frozen from the exchanges.
  15. I hate hearing this happened . Were there any police reports filed ? Did Gatehub notify any law enforcement regarding the hack?
  16. I had just changed my password 3 days prior to my account being hacked. I used 18 characters including upper case, lower case letters, numbers and punctuation marks. 2fa on Gatehub account New Email Account was Added 2fa on an email that was exclusive to Gatehub account only never used for anything other than Gatehub. Account was created in 2016
  17. I definately agree, I think all of us who are victims and lost ridiculous amounts of money have been extremely patient. At least try and get some of the funds that were frozen distributed. I am so over this crap now.
  18. Thank you so much for sharing the information ! First phase? How many phases are needed ? For some reason I am still not receiving any emails from Gatehub except for the new device confirmations. I will be sure to store the recovery key in a safe place so I can protect the 45 XRP I have remaining because I have nothing left.
  19. Thank you. Think positive don't give up hope. I hate that this happened. All we can do is see how this unfolds in the next few weeks. Hopefully Gatehub will keep us posted as to the amounts that the exchanges were able to freeze. I will not let this fade away. I lost too much money. I would suggest documenting and take screen shots of all your activity logs on your account. Were you able to file a police report ? I am in the US and filed a complaint with https://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx and a police report too.
  20. I did NOT receive the phishing email or an email that my account was vulnerable. My account was hacked and drained. I had always received the new device confirmation email and the Gatehub support email. I did question this false sense of security they were giving to account holders telling them if they did not receive an email there was no reason to suspect their account was threatened. I pointed this out on my support ticket. Honestly I am starting to lose patience. 3 years with Gatehub. Wallet created in June 2016.
  21. What is concerning to me is that I have NOT yet received any email notifying me of the initial hack to my Gatehub account or the phishing attempt. I do however receive all of the emails from Gatehub to confirm new device and follow up from support. Many Gatehub account holders may not even access the emails they use to for their Gatehub account on a regular basis. Why has Gatehub not placed a banner on Gatehub website warning of the hack and phishing as Karlos did for XRP Chat. I hate this.
