  1. Hello everyone,

ThomasTheTGV aka @Tom_Kuster (Twitter) aka Tom

I'm from the Netherlands but life in Germany, so I consider myself to be a European. I speak Dutch, German, English, Spanish and little bit of French.

Timezone is CEST (Central European Summer Time)

I'd like to participate in a regional team (BeNeLux and maybe North Rhine-Westphalia). My skills?

    • Organizing XRP meetups since 2014 (Last one was in Amersfoort)
    • Connector of people
    • Witty but amateur marketing brain

Next to blockchain my interests are singing, digital learning, AR/VR and gamification all on a non-programmer level.

  2. With 2018 coming to a close we would like to join us for a #XRPcommunity New Year's reception on Saturday january 26 from 13.00 to 18.00 in Baarn (The Netherlands). It is a good moment to look back on 2018 and talk about what may be on the horizon for 2019.

At the beginning of january the full program will be announced, but besides enough time to talk and mingle, we can already tell you that @WietseWind and @xrptwin will speak.

Drinks and snacks will be included, but there will be an entrance fee to cover the costs. Since there are only 30 places available save the date and keep a look out for the registration form!

You are looking for the wrong member, no?

No I was writing a reply to an earlier posted, not the BarryM17 challenge. BTW I'm also easily findable/Tracable, I have chosen to be more public since I'm not much of a trader and more of blockchain enthusiast and like to be able to communicate publicly under my real name if needed.

Please let me know if I should remove the information I posted about you!

You might want to be careful.

If your stack is big enough, bad people could come after you. They won't try to figure out your secret keys, they might just ask you to write them down...

    Thought experiment:

So lets say you own a significant amount of XRP and I want get rich quickly and decide to try to rob you. I now know you use nano s devices, I would only need your security keys (which I can use to restore your wallets on a device or software wallet). So only using this forum I already now a lot about you:

    • removed info

This is starting information to do some more social engineering and I think criminals would blackmail you or rob you/your wife at home for the private keys (again that's the only thing they would need).

TOF, maar tijd is wel een dingetje. Ik ga het sowieso proberen. Kom immers uit Arnhem, maar werk vrijwel altijd in de Randstad ;)

    Vooralsnog "Count me in"!

Thuis wedstrijd dus... Al kom je maar even voor een biertje of een kop koffie toch?

Ben zelf bij meerdere meetups geweest en het is alleen al leuk om de gezichten achter de avatars te zien.
