  1. The UI hung at : "Submission result : Held until escalated fee drops." I understand this should only take a few ledgers, but in any case, the UI is different from the action that actually occurs on the ledger... because it turns out, that these offers got into the ledger.
  2. I have a feeling that you are incorrectly handling fees, and in particular, the transaction result terQUEUED. See my screen capture, which hangs after OfferCreate transaction submission.
  3. What Are the Bots Accomplishing?

I tend not to think so. That pattern is defined as a "spinning top" in technical analysis : Candlesticks with a long upper shadow, long lower shadow and small real body are called spinning tops. One long shadow represents a reversal of sorts; spinning tops represent indecision. The small real body (whether hollow or filled) shows little movement from open to close, and the shadows indicate that both bulls and bears were active during the session. Even though the session opened and closed with little change, prices moved significantly higher and lower in the meantime. Neither buyers nor sellers could gain the upper hand and the result was a standoff. After a long advance or long white candlestick, a spinning top indicates weakness among the bulls and a potential change or interruption in trend. After a long decline or long black candlestick, a spinning top indicates weakness among the bears and a potential change or interruption in trend. http://stockcharts.com/school/doku.php?id=chart_school:chart_analysis:introduction_to_candlesticks To me, it looks like the price knows better than the traders who are trying to push it around.
  4. Were there every any Ripple Wallet clients (or Ripple related apps) released for iOS? I wonder if developing one would be worth an XRP bounty from Ripple Labs.
  5. It's also a barrier of entry for new gateways to issues new assets into Ripple.
  6. The FlowV2 Amendment Was Vetoed

Is the recommended version of rippled still 0.32.1 ?
  7. If a financial institution wants to receive trust from a non-trusted party, then they should not set the asfRequireAuth flag. Here is the documentation : https://ripple.com/build/transactions/#accountset-flags Each wallet which is funded with at least the account reserve, can make that decision for themselves.
  8. @Twarden : Authorized trust lines is optional for each gateway to enable or not. Bitstamp, Ripple Fox, Tokyo JPY and Gatehub are among the largest volume generating gateways out there, and they do not enable authorized trust lines. There are perhaps some private use cases out there where it makes sense to authorize your trust lines, however. You can read more about the new TrustSetAuth amendment here : https://ripple.com/build/amendments/#trustsetauth If you've ever dealt with this feature, you would know how painful it was before this amendment. Here is a summary of how things used to work : https://wiki.ripple.com/Authorized_accounts#Process_Overview With the new amendment, step 3 can be the gateway authorizing the user (like step 5), and the process is done. If you think about the coordination between user and gateway getting steps 1 - 6 done prior to the TrustSetAuth amendment, you would certainly appreciate the innovation released here.
  9. XRP Futures Trading is Coming

Does anyone use the service for Bitcoin derivatives? Any reviews out there?
  10. SMA indicators available on heartbit.io/app

Well, probably not going to do that. What ever happened to heartbit.io/app anyway?
  11. SMA indicators available on heartbit.io/app

We can debate the effectiveness all day. Let's rather focus on the question. Does anyone know of a moving average overlay tool out there for Ripple market data? In general, any tool out there that does technical analysis over Ripple markets would be of interest to me.
  12. SMA indicators available on heartbit.io/app

That's a good time to not use moving averages. Almost all traditional trading software includes these indicators over the price charts. I speculate that it's a missing dimension from the Ripple markets though, because the moving averages cannot easily be seen on RippleCharts
  13. SMA indicators available on heartbit.io/app

@heartbit_io : What happened to this application? Is any of the code available as open source? I'm looking for a tool out there that can display RippleCharts like plots, with and overlay of SMAs and EMAs. The fact that I cannot find them out there, makes me wonder if the Ripple markets move without considering key crossing points of these moving averages, like is well know to happen in more liquid market places.
