There is our most well-known and reputable online bank, active since the 2000's, which is called Swissquote.
You can open an account, trade pretty much any securities and funds, and, since last year, also buy BTC, ETH LTC and XRP.
They have teamed up with Bitstamp re. the foregoing, and they are 100% safe and legit.
My dad had an account over there since 2003 or so. We never had any problem.

Back to following BTC exactly. As always. Was nice while it lasted.
And as always, BTC simply cant have a decent run which would have continued our momentum.
Can't wait for this obsolete coin to simply disappear

Looks like we are slowly but surely starting to align on BTC again.
Well, at least we were lagging 5 cents behind in xrp yesterday (8500 BTC meant 0.80 (hence the 5 cents to make it "equal" at 0.85), now we are trading, on the same ratio, 24 cents higher (8750 BTC --> 1.115 XRP). So before aligning again we gained 28 cents on BTC. Decent enough

Completely agree, looks like it since yesterday already and today confirms it. If only we could have the same 2 weeks now we had back then !!

Thanks for the great advice mate. We are always smarter afterwards, right ? Still invested half of my last deposit on Wednesday, but of course now that we had a rise coming from nowhere I should have invested it all. Was tough to forecast though.
More importantly, thanks to the next two who actually gave a meaningfull answer (unlike you !).
Will wait for the time being and listen to my guts. I am in any case HEAVILY invested right now. (more than 100k zerps).

This really is so funny. Tons of good news and nothing happens.
Then no news and we start mooning. We were on par with BTC for 3 days before lagging around 5 cents behind.
Now we are 8 cents above, no particular reason.
Feels like December all over again.
Funny thing is I got 40k euros credited on my account on Wednesday. Felt pretty smart about investing 10k at 0.76 and 10k more at 0.71.
Now both are well in green....... but I still have 20k to spend
Was not expecting such a rise on no news whatsoever. But given my initial investment at 0.21 and the number of zerps I own, I'll take it !!! We'll see about my 20k remaining later !

Guys stop speaking about going up when we are not ?
We were on par with BTC (8k = 0.80) for 3 days and have lost around 6 cents on that (8k = 0.74).
We are lower than we were today at noon, don't see any reason to get excited just yet sitting still at 0.75.

I keep seeing this Feb 16th reference as it is the Chinese new year.
Just so you know, it lasts until March 2nd, and they have public holidays from Feb 16th until Feb 21st.
So if anything, it will be more after that date that we may see anything happening.

That's just wrong. It's not my opinion, I am just more objective than you are. 3.25 to .55 is not a huge dip ? Let's be realistic here. A 82% drop is what is called a HUGE dip.
If you had read my post I am every thing but a new investor, been on here since June or so. It has nothing to do with "they should not have invested". It is an objective fact.
Sure I believe XRP will recover, and as I said, I am all in green right now since my main investment was made at 0.21. That changes nothing to the picture though mate, even when it will have recovered we experienced a huge dip, period. It may means nothing on the long term price, that does not mean a huge dip.
A huge dip is not something you never recover from, it is a huge drop from one certain price to another. If you have indeed been investing for decades, I am just surprised you can't simply acknowledge that, as it is pretty basic tbh.

I always read you with delectation as you know what you are talking about and I generally really like your point of view on XRP and cryptos in general. However, and I don't mean it as an offense, sometimes you sugar coat it a bit as if you were never ever caring about the price.
I invested at 0.21 in May, just got a substantial 5 figures EUR deposit tonight which I am still pondering how to invest (already bought 10k tonight at 0.76 but I have much more remaining) but in any case I am just very much in the green and I can't say I am really impacted by the dips.
But sorry mate, you just cant say that people are dramatic when they say we have experienced huge dips. Going from 3.25 to 0.55 is more than a huge dip. Sure it was the lowest (0.55) but even now at 0.75, we have to gain 330% to be back to the ATH... which was 1 month ago !!! Let's face it, if that is not a huge dip, nothing ever will be Sir.
Again, nothing personal and I like both your style and your vision of the whole thing, but I think sometimes you should stop pretending "seasoned investors" as I saw you calling them often are not affected by the last few weeks. This definitely IS a major dip, which happened over a very short period of time.
Granted, I agree we may be at 10 at the end of the year and at 100 in 3 years. Still ,those dips will be laughed at if we reach that, but a huge dip is not smaller because it recovers afterwards and makes X20 in the coming years. A (huge) dip is a dip over the current period of time, and the ones we have been experiencing are simply HUGE.
