Ripple and The Uberization of Banks

Cool. I'm considering farming but researching the legality implications behind it first. If I get the green light then I will farm. Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk

Ripple and The Uberization of Banks

Storjcoin is a decentralized cloud service provider that is going through three test modes before they go live with actual real paying customers. You could either store very sensitive information on the storj network (that is decentralized unlike Microsoft, Google, Barracuda, Dropbox & Amazon cloud services that can get hacked). If you wish you can lease your available hard drive space and earn storjcoin in this way and become like a "miner" but really your what they call a farmer. Cool, because all your doing is renting your unused space and making money in process. Still learning. Watch their video on www.storj.io and tell me what you think. I think this is the revolutionary type of asset that really changes markets and brings true innovation to the forefront. Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk
  5. Now I believe I know why other smaller currencies are increasing in value and that is over the concern over the scaling issue with Bitcoin and the process of increasing the 1mb block size to deal with future growth. There could be a panic that this will be a problem with the peer to peer network. Like always there is panic and investors sell and now they are placing their profits into these smaller digital currencies in hopes of keeping their profits by holding with other dc's. I could be wrong but this is what I think is going on.

Ripple and The Uberization of Banks

Two big plays that I love, one is ripple and storjcoin. Both innovative and competitive to the core. Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk

Ripple and The Uberization of Banks

Ripple has so much infrastructure and brains behind their protocol that it is just a matter of time before this whole thing blows up on the upside. Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk

    None ETH gateway?

I think when banks come out and approve the Ripple protocol that's when the price will appreciate in a magnified way. Until such announcements keep building your portfolio up. Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk

    Pathfinding bug in desktop client

I think we'll have to wait until someone develops a new desktop client. All versions of the Ripple Desktop Client back to 1.2.1 have the pathfinding bug. Version 1.2.1 has a bug where it hangs if you try to send a large amount of XRP (10000+). Basically all versions are useless for doing simple tasks you'd expect for a wallet. When you say cold storage you mean on your desktop correct? What about paper wallets for xrp? Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk

    Ripple and China

All we need is for 100 million chinese savers to purchase xrp and it's over. There are 1.3 billion savers in China. Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk

    How are xrp's destroyed?

Anything you invest in you have to believe in it otherwise what's the point, right. Even with any other investment there is always this possibility of failure is in the horizon. This should not deter us from believing in something that can make a real difference in the world of finance. Well, this is where you and I and thousands of others find ourselves at right now. Do I experience doubts with Ripple, of course I do, every now and then. I think this is a normal response to anything you put money into. The opportunity here is the need and how this need is filled with Ripple's technology. This protocol has serious implications for financial disruption. It has more positives than negatives. I just recently saw a funny but very true video about a little boy who had never eaton bacon before. When he tried bacon for the first time he kept repeating the name bacon over and over and over again. He had the biggest smile as he was eating this delicious new thing he never had tried before. The video now with over 5 million hits. It was the funniest thing I ever saw. This is how Ripple will be for people sending funds over seas within seconds. Unbanked people will be banks with this technology. The convenience of having your money protected by a private key which is more superior than gold in a safe. The list can go on and on. Anyone in Seattle?

No. But if you're ever in New Orleans I'll chat with you about ripple. I'd probably get a couple of my friend to join us also. Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk
