  1. Thanks for the love 1. For a long time, all of my dot connecting finds that I posted on here we’re starting to be moved out of the general discussion topic to places no one sees them. 2. I’m CEO of a company I started that’s had quite the roller coaster. Was on the verge of bankruptcy (literally that day), got a lifeline and now things are growing back stronger than ever... Due to personal situations, I stepped back from work before things were dire.... Now back in it full time and I don’t have much time to focus on all the research. Still 100% XRP! Still following all developments avidly and occasionally post on Twitter when I come across something interesting. I miss you all too @Julian_Williams @quetzalcoatl @lucky @invest2lose and fellow xrpchatters

  3. BIS, G20, IMF, IOSCO. All of these are lead by central banks and the countries themselves so I'm not sure there's much difference. It's hard to saw which is leading the charge.
  4. If it’s insured - verifiably, legitimately, completely insured - this would be very interesting. I doubt this is the case, therefore can’t risk leaving XRP sitting on an exchange no matter how much I trust uphold.
  5. I’m suggesting this possibility based on the timing of all the regs coming through at similar times... 6. It could also all have gone through coinfield (unbacked speculation that they are working with Ripple. Just their huge promotion of XRP as a base and promoting XRP so mich in their communications). edit: nm, they don’t have MXN yet.
  7. Given the way ILP works, it could be split into multiple transactions.
  8. “Homesend’s quite into tokenization and potentially digital assets as well. Both of those homesend would be able to support, whether that be sending or receiving. Much the same as blockchain. Homesend’s done quite a lot of experiments with Ripple as well... in the homesend and mastercard realm. This wouldn’t be competition to what we’re doing with banks...” Asssahhhhhh!
  9. So you think they’re referring to EOS? Maybe SpankChain?
  10. “Blockchain is definitely something we are interested in. We are looking at it, we are testing it also with Ripple. Our test is still a test. We are understanding where we can use the efficiency with blockchain and we also have different investment, smaller investments in different startup companies, different innovative companies so that is going to continue to happen. We don't see a big change in our business model yet but we will continue to be investing in, continuing investment relations.” ...does that translate differently to you than it does to me? “Interested in... looking at it... testing it also with Ripple I don’t have evidence for many of my posts or I would post it. In this case, it’s been a long time since I looked into Terrapay and mixed them up with Transpay. I’ll continue to point out the connections I find... and yes, I like likes :p At .6 likes per post, your content must be much more valuable... indeed.
  11. Sorry, mistake here. Transfast and transpay are related... not terrapay

  15. Thanks! I thought this would get moved from the main thread if I posted it to XRPChat 😉 Appreciate you putting it here too. Lately anything speculative that I post gets moved.
  16. Perhaps it will come. This is probably just a first step. I’m sure Ripple wouldn’t have settled with R3 and given them some large amount of XRP for just this.
  17. According to the demo, company a is requesting to be paid in XRP. Company B is paying in XRP. The exchange rate is only calculated to determine how much XRP company B will pay to company A. The is no actual fiat/xrp exchange.
  18. Repeating myself but why is this important unless/until fiat bridging is built in... Which I hope will come
  19. Time will tell, but their video only shows that company A can request to be paid by company B using XRP. B can then pay this using XRP. As it stands from the demo, there is no exchange to fiat. Until this exist, I don't know that anyone will use it.
  20. I watched the demo. Hopefully this is the start of some larger integration. According to the demo, Settler allows the company being paid to request payment in XRP that would be paid in XRP by the payer. XRP makes sense as a bridge currency. Their demo doesn't show any actual bridging and I doubt companies will want to be paid in XRP. Big news but I'm hoping there's more along the way to make it work like xRapid.
  21. On this, I agree with you in a sense. I’ve invested in what I believed to be promising technology in the past, holding it knowing it would go up... Even when it didn’t hit the massive profit growth yet, I knew it was coming... until it didn’t. So I agree in the sense that until you’re there, you’re not there. I also agree that, regardless of our confidence, there’s a chance that we’re wrong. That said, this was 13 years ago and I believe I’ve learned much since then. I’m still 100% confident 😉 The Major difference between the company I invested in and XRP, backed by ripple, is that Ripple has consistently succeeded and achieved everything they said they’d achieve, even though they set a ridiculously high bar. They go from success to success, executing on their long term strategy for XRP along the way. They never said XRP was a short game. Quite the opposite. I don’t think anyone should argue with their results, IMO. Price is not representative of anything at this point. Even on that note, however, look at the price one and two years ago... massive gains if you’re not just looking at the crazy spike a year ago.
  22. There have been massive results. They have 80% of Japan’s banks. They have MoneyTap. xrp is a long game but SBI has been a huge champion for the cause.
  23. SBI group owns 10% of Ripple (~6B xrp) + however many XRP SBI owns outside of that. Yoshitaka Kitao is also all about xrp. They mention other crypto’s but logically, their focus will be on XRP - both from the monetary incentive and the overwhelming benefits compared to other crypto.
  24. I’d say SBI has done an incredible job. The slides suggest MoneyTap will use digital assets (XRP). MoneyTap is going to be expanded to 80% of Japan’s banks. They have also deployed, and continue to deploy, tons of capital in building a huge ecosystem for digital assets/xrp. That said, I am very disappointed to see this report has the least emphasis on XRP than any of the ones from the last 1.5 years, at least.
