GateHub had previously acknowledged a data breach in June, albeit with a smaller number of impacted accounts. Data from the breach included email addresses, mnemonic phrases, wallet hashes and passwords stored as bcrypt hashes. Hacked : Cryptocurrency wallet hashes, Email addresses, Mnemonic phrases
  2. In Order to access the wallet you need the secret key. The secret key has to be stored on the server. With your login creditinals you can decrypt it and access your Wallet. Without it stored on the server you would have to type in it everytime. Thats my understanding. The problem seems that these encrypted keys were very weak encryptet.
  3. Just wanted to share, that my Wallet is from 2016 too, maybe it has something to do with the migration ( I cant remember i did this, but its long )
  4. Mine got stolen too. The Coins were send to rMpC7huipthejwisyzvVsWP8hiMzb2VHJH 3 Days ago. I had 2FA activated. My Password is a realy strong Password iam just using for this Github Acc. I was not logged in for 2 Years (HODL ftw...) Lost 6000 XRP...
