  1. For those interested, here it is: import { deriveKeypair, deriveAddress } from 'ripple-keypairs' verifyKeyPair(address, secret) { const { publicKey } = deriveKeypair(secret) const derivedAddress = deriveAddress(publicKey) return address == derivedAddress } Thanks Sukrim & Wietse
  2. Signing a transaction with the wrong key will not throw an error. Any other way to verify a secret against an address programatically besides trying to submit the TX and burning XRP in the process?
  3. Hi all, I've been trying to do some tests with checks (https://xrpl.org/checks.html) for a project of mine. I'm using the test net (wss://s.altnet.rippletest.net:51233). I can successfully do checkCreate transactions but cannot seem to do a checkCash (tecNO_ENTRY: No matching entry found). I'm using ripple-lib in order to generate those checks. The currency used is XRP, not an issued currency. The test is for 1 XRP or 1000000 drops. Here's the checkCreate transaction: https://testnet.xrpl.org/transactions/F0A3342809F466A216D7930F3001AAAC3CC41877BFEA29A3CC88B4781CC4AC41 Here's the failed checkCash transaction: https://testnet.xrpl.org/transactions/25C901046A4E97B262448EBE339EDC00BBEFDB8366F3ED2E7D499089E8CE6671 The checkID used to do the checkCreate and checkCash is: ABCDEFABABCDEFABABCDEFABABCDEFABABCDEFABABCDEFABABCDEFABABCDEFAF I just can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I've read the documentation on xrpl.org, tried with 'drops' and 'XRP' as currencies (both ways are used in the doc) but I always get a tecNO_ENTRY. Maybe the Check amendment is not active on the test net node I'm using? How can I know that? Thanks a bunch for your help.
  4. Hi everyone I'm Jocelyn and I live in Switzerland (GMT +1). My mother tongue is French but I can also speak English and a little bit of German. I've been working as a software developer (mostly web) for 4 years, always trying to find cool side projects. Many of them failed I've been invested in XRP since July 2017 but never really dug into it. Until recently. I spent hours reading the documentation on https://developers.ripple.com/ and am astonished by the capabilities of the XRP Ledger. Since then, ideas are popping into my head and I'd like to share them to get some feedback on their viability. Cheers
  5. Hi´╗┐, I'm Jocelyn. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and ideas.
  6. Hello XRP people, I recently started an online game development course and I made a super small shooter, starring your favorite digital asset. Here's a first "bare" version without bonuses or anything: https://www.sharemygame.com/share/0bd4fd43-5db3-4ce3-a04e-e47ff70f11aa Move with arrows Shoot with spacebar There's music/sound, check your computer's sound volume ;) The game will stay on sharemygame.com for a max duration of 30 days. I can re-upload it though. Let me know your max score ;D
