  1. I think you didn't understand what I wanted to say with my post. I want to say Western Union is using Ripple technologies for its purpose even though they said it has no use for them etc. This means that Ripples technologies are unstoppable and will be used by every one in the future. It doesn't care if you want to or not.
  2. Mass Adoption is coming guys! Link to Western Union: https://www.westernunion.com/gb/en/zero-transfer-fees.html?src=LFC_zero_transfer2

  4. Guys, something is wrong with the speaker of SWIFT. https://conference.afponline.org/program/sessions/payments When you follow this link the SWIFT speaker is not David Scola but Keith Gilroy, Director, Strategic Relationships, SWIFT Ok I'll repeat it for you: Strategic Relationships.... just saying...
  5. Can anyone tell me what this is about? https://vimeo.com/296113969
  6. AFP Panel 2: Taking Advantage of New Technologies in Payments Strategy When: Tuesday, November 6th | 10:30 to 11:45 AM Where: Payments Room W185ABCD The changing payments landscape has given rise to phrases like real-time payments, distributed ledgers, and blockchain, bringing expectations of reduced fraud, lower transaction costs, increased speed, and a proliferation of transactional data. What does this mean for those in treasury? During this panel, participants will provide guidance on the key questions organizations should be asking themselves as they look to take advantage of new payment capabilities. Steve Bernstein, US and Global ACH Business Development Manager, J.P. Morgan Ryan Gaylor, Director of Corporate Payments, Ripple David Scola, Head of North America, SWIFT Kris Filipkowski, Deputy Treasurer, Marsh & McLennan https://www.swift.com/news-events/events/community-events/swift-afp-chicago-2018 _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Update: something is wrong with the speaker of SWIFT? https://conference.afponline.org/program/sessions/payments When you follow this link the SWIFT speaker is not David Scola but Keith Gilroy, Director, Strategic Relationships, SWIFT Ok I'll repeat it for you: Strategic Relationships.... just saying...
  7. Ripple -> Accenture -> Temenos Ripple follows Accenture on Twitter. https://twitter.com/Accenture Accenture: "Accenture has also established a Blockchain Center of Excellence in Sophia Antipolis, France, which provides access to technical and business expertise in blockchain and distributed-ledger capabilities. The company also has a strategic relationship with Ripple, a provider of global financial-settlement solutions." https://newsroom.accenture.com/news/accenture-launches-blockchain-practice-for-financial-services-industry-and-enters-alliance-with-digital-asset-holdings.htm Now some Speculation for sibos event: Openbanking, real-time payments and fighting cybercrime... hm ok. And here a link from Temenos which describes "Instant Payements" https://www.temenos.com/en/solutions/products/payments/instant-payments/
  8. SmartStream and swift.. connections over connections ?
  9. Temenos on Sibos 2018 (22-25th October): https://www.sibos.com/exhibition/about-exhibition/exhibitors/temenos Products on Show CorporateSuite, with its scalable innovative technology, provides superior features for corporate banks, supporting profitability, customer acquisition and retention. CorporateSuite, one solution for all corporate banking needs includes modules covering Trade Finance, Cash Management, Forfaiting and Factoring, Syndicated Lending and Letters of Guarantee as well as a variety of other tools. Ok, so far this is maybe nothing special... but now read carefully: Our payment product family is a uniquely flexible offering that not only provides banks full, centralised real-time control but also the ability to process any payment type in any format, through any channel from any source to any core-banking platform. The payment hub provides a harmonized customer service experience and centralized control of all liquidity management across multiple regions within a single system. This sounds like RippleNet to me? I think "centralised" only means "all-in-one solution" in this sentences, if you are asking me. Maybe I read to much into it? Just wanted to share this with you. I would like to here your opinions on this.
  10. David Arnott even says in the Interview @19:22 "...nothing obviously i can say on the record at the moment". Just how it feels I would say David want to talk about it sooo hardly but he can't because his partner (maybe Ripple?) don't allow it to him (at the moment). Of course this partner could be anyone, but this fits perfectly to your statement about ripple imo.
