  5. This is the federal case (4:18-cv-03286). Dismissed from district court of northern california. State case # CGC-18-566271 The greenwald case was "related" to the coffey case on 8/14 so I'm not sure what happens to that case. I am guessing it will continue on in federal court
  6. if you are not one of the 5 states, you have to purchase crypto elsewhere with fiat to transfer to bittrex.
  7. Looks like the court denied Coffey's motion to remand the case back to state court. It will stay in federal court
  8. What I mean is....how come only those 5 states are allowed to trade fiat? Is there something special about those 5 states? Why not all 50 states?

  11. The last action on the Coffey case was on August 1st. The plaintiff filed a motion to have the case moved back to state court. It currently resides in Federal court. The judge has not ruled on it yet.
