It's probably not just up to Ripple but the customer may not want to make it known they are working with Ripple so that the competitors will have a harder time to catch up when Uber suddenly can offer instant settlement for their customers.

Exactly this. I work in IT sales and a lot of our enterprise customers have written agreements which state we don't mention them by name etc.

I bought all of my coins way back when prices were lower then .15-.19 cents a piece, so I just recently received my bonus at work and invested it all into xrp as I wasn’t planning on the bonus anyways. As I was looking to place the order I had so many issues, it’s not even funny. I was placing order with one exchange and they require some 3D security that my bank had NO idea what that was. After spending a hour or two calling my bank and getting transferred to MasterCard and then back to my bank I decided I’ll use a different exchange. When I went to another exchange they didn’t sell xrp directly, I had to buy btc and transfer to xrp. I decided I’ll just buy with Coinbase, transfer to my first exchange and transfer btc to xrp. After having issues setting up my debit card with Coinbase because of verification, 6 hours into this mess I finally got my btc, transferred to exchange 1 and I had to wait ANOTHER 50 minutes to receive my btc. In total I spent 7-8 hours buying my xrp.

What im saying is I see why there are still not enough money in this market. We need a way to be able to buy xrp, simple, and fast. Until that’s available to the market I think we will have a lot of missed money. Someone who wants to spend a few hundred or thousand dollars just to invest in hopes it’ll hit big (which I’m sure there is a ton of people like this) they won’t go thru the hassle I did.

Are you referring to Bitstamp?! Seems to be a load of issues there I had the same trouble and ended up using Uphold despite the fees.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, BUT if Swift were to adopt Xrapid. Would that mean that in one fell swoop Ripple would have added nearly every bank in the world by simply getting Swift to use Xrapid? Instead of having to go sign up banks one by one, and convert them away from Swift.

The way I see it would be that the swift interface would stay the same and then plugin to ripples suite in the backend.

    Famous quotes:

"Forget TA patterns, XRP dont need no patterns to run"

    Circa October 2018

Translation: XRP about to pamp it

Nice, looking forward to a little rise!

No worries, you're not the only one.  In fact, I think I'm the only one who remembers having this discussion back in June.

Why does Visa need MoneyGram?  MoneyGram doesn't have much to offer.
But maybe it has something to do with the fact that Western Union ALREADY has this EXACT same service available through MasterCard.  (called Netspend)
Visa is just competing with MasterCard.  That's my theory.

And remember, similar to Western Union, MoneyGram only agreed to test xRapid, I think back in January.
And we haven't heard a peep out of them since.  (and only bad things from WU)  Is there still a partnership between Ripple and one of these guys?

Again, I hope SOMEBODY clarifies this whole mess soon.  The ramifications are BIG in both directions. (IMO)

I am hoping there is a link. I think that the fact SBI is working closely with Ripple and also MoneyGram is that there could be more to it or it could be wishful thinking on my part.

There is a lot going on behind the scenes that we know nothing about and I am sure will actually remain this way.

These too appear to be after SWIFTs market and, on the face of it, competition to XRP. Any thoughts out there? Anything to be concerned about?

Been discussed before. Even looking at their website, without judging a book by its cover is a joke. There are things I am worried about with XRP but this is honestly not one of them.

This isn't me being sarcastic just being honest. I would be worried about the big boys, and Ripple is 100% amongst them and definitely ruffling feathers. I am the point of writing this year off and seeing where we are come January.

Aww you only want to read and hear things that fit you?

Let others post whatever they want! Snowflake

All the predictions seem a waste of time. They are never backed with anything either!

    exactly my plan :spiteful:

..there goes 7/12 support of .42483

Know what this shows? thats charts cant be read accurately right now. the whole market is still connected and there is no decoupling yet (if ever).

I bloody hope this doesn't continue. This is getting broking now and had only been 6 months ?.

It seems as though we are going to bounce about between .44 and .46 for a while. Feels exactly the same as it did last year ?.

Back to just below .44, now sat at .44. I bet tomorrow that we wake up and we are at about .45125...
