  1. Looks like you’re right based on the last paragraph.
  2. SOLVED: I think I had a typo. I can see my claimed spark tokens now Hi all - I followed the procedures on Claim Spark Tokens | XRP Toolkit a while back before the snapshot date. I also checked my address after the snapshot which confirmed the claimed spark tokens. I'm happy that I also printed the Message Key, Flare Address and my XRP address back then. However, when I now include my XRP address at xrpscan.com it does not show any results anymore (404: Not Found), same for Bithomp. Am I doing something wrong?
  3. I am not from the US but I would like to understnd the impact of the Warner Portman amendment. Are US exchanges required to track all transactions for tax purposes, resulting in a significant burden/higher cost or even halt trading for POS crypto? And any impact for XRP expected?
  4. There is a closed Sunshine Act Meeting at the SEC tomorrow again where they discuss resolution of litigation claims and settlements. I believe this meeting has been canceled multiple times and part of the reason could be that there was no new Director of Enforcement which now is in place. In my view it is not a coincedence that this meeting is planned right after the appointment of the new Director of Enforcement and right after Hinman’s deposition, but maybe I’m just seeing things that are not there We’ll see…
  5. https://ripple.com/insights/first-live-on-demand-liquidity-offering-in-japan/ Great news!
  6. Do we expect this price of $1.68 to be a reliable estimate for the price at go-live/first distribution?
  7. On June 3, there is another closed meeting at the SEC to discuss litigation claims and settlements: https://www.sec.gov/news/closedmeetings/2021/ssamtg060321.htm
  8. Sorry for my limited knowledge but can you please explain the reasoning behind XRP being a BTC hedge?
  9. Decided to take a risk and just bought some additional xrp
  10. No, in the Netherlands we only pay a tax on the holdings when it comes to cash and investments.
  11. We, in the Netherlands, pay a capital tax based on your capital position at the start of the year (cash and investments), don’t we? Not when we exchange investments for cash. At least that is how my tax return is reflecting it
  12. Definitely appreciate that courage and vision, and I wish him all the best, don’t get me wrong. But when I see such videos I just can’t finish them based on their communication style. I blame myself and I trust others can govr constructive feedback on the TA that he provides. No offense, just my opinion!
  13. I stopped listening to this guy after the first 10 seconds sorry can’t help.
  14. Do we have any clue how these markets are manipulated? I am no TA expert but my gut feeling also tells me these markets are being manipulated. Do we think the volumes that we are seeing are x% fake and that the market is much more thinner than we all think? If I am not mistaken Coinbase already pumped volume by using bots that trade with each other (for which they were fined).
  15. After the prior bull cycle in 2017 XRP fell back enormeously (from USD +3 to somewhere in the USD 0.20-0.30), do you expect XRP to repeat this pattern (when we leave utility out of the equation for now)?
  16. I don’t want to ruin the party but is nobody afraid of potential bad news for Ripple as result of today’s discovery call, leading to a dump? I feel everyone is expecting only good news.
  17. I think it’s because livecoinwatch shows an average of all the exchanges while Bitstamp is only one exchange, but i’m not sure
  18. Maybe the next discovery call on April 6 will be a trigger for some action.
  19. I’m thinking this is a bad April fools action...
  20. I just noticed that Coinmarketcap does not list XRP anymore (?)
  21. I believe the benefit that Ripple has are their relationships in the financial world. By now they have a lot of expertise in banking/financial institutions and technology, plus they have an integrated solution. Most other coins I expect only to have a part of the technology component (no integrated solution) and they don’t have the banking/financial institutions relationships. I think it takes years to build such relationships.
  22. Confirming that we never saw XRP as an investment contract with Ripple, and never expected any profits from Ripple.
