XRP is probably dead for another year or so before we will hit the ATH again.  I hope I'm wrong

Very easy to be empathetic with other people's money isn't it? I simply don't see how living in an economic fantasy world helps anyone. Scarcity is real. Using tax payer dollars, much of which comes from those who do not have college degrees and work in construction, skilled trades, or any other number of blue collar professions, to pay for others (usually upper middle class) to avoid work for four/six/eight years and get degrees that cannot justify the cost, is not charity at all. It is extremely elitist. If you really care about helping others pay for college, then start a scholarship fund with your job that pays extremely well. If you want to fix the college loan problem then start pushing for reform that allows them to be discharged in bankruptcy.

Why not sell them for $73,000 per XRP??!!!! Even Better! Then we could not only pay off the national debt, pay off the entirety of Argentinian guy's student loans (which is totally fair as I assume someone put a gun to his head and forced him to take them on), but we could also give a new lambo to every needy teenager in America!!! Oh, and of course the plastic island....that will be turned into a resort destination known as Plastopia. After all, we have to do something with all our new found wealth.

I want to drop my 2 cents into this thread. There is a lot of uncertainty and doubt due to price swings lately. My suggestion is to look at history where things were being done for the first time ever. Bill Gates and Microsoft. Started out of a garage. Building computers were never done before, but computers (even in their earliest stages) created efficiencies for tasks that were considered repetitive and mundane. This efficiency created an increase in work productivity and lessened the cost of labor.
Ripple is doing exactly the same thing but with a different asset. Ripple is to XRP as Microsoft is to a computer. They are entering territory that has never been entered. How do you create an asset virtually from nothing and put intrinsic value into that asset? The answer is simple: Utility. Create an efficiency that will replace repetitive and mundane tasks or even cut out the middleman. You will eventually increase work productivity while dropping the cost of labor.
Now many may think, "Yeah but Microsoft would have taken 30 years to make me a millionaire." True, but that's also why your not quitting your day time job. In order to put value in an asset it HAS to grow over time. Ripple wants to get this right the FIRST time otherwise Ripple loses EVERYTHING they been working for for the past decade.
With that being said, Ripple already has a running start. How long did it take Bill Gates to sit in the same room as a former President or when was the first time Bill Gates was sitting at the same conference table with the President of the IMF? It definitely was not within the first 5 years. Ripple has connections. This will speed up adoption. If you cannot not stomach the fact the XRP will go to zero tomorrow, then you are over exposed or you are too attached to your investment. Either way, you should not be investing or you need to seriously rethink your strategic plan.
If you are reading this and you are invested in XRP, you are EARLY. How early? Well, governments around the world are STILL arguing over what cryptoassets actually are. That's good news because when they finally determine what cryptoassets are, the mainstream and commercial adoption will take off exponentially. Think about it this way, there are not going to be many times in your life that you can say, "Yeah... I invested in that early on."

I think that’s where Ripple got it wrong, they expected a more robust regulatory framework to be adopted in 2018/2019 and IMO that has hindered them tremendously

They may regulate digital assets someday though.

O jeezz. Not this again.  Who knows. IT’S ALL SPECULATION, it could go to $ 100 or to $ 0.   It’s a waiting game, and yes, all fudsters could be right in the end, would be a pity and atm I don’t think they will, but it’s very well possible.
As bonus this post from @Trendkill .

But from your perspective this makes perfect sense because “you’re out”. Which is a bit of a quandary because you’re still here...
More amazing is your inside knowledge of intentions of all the banks. I don’t know how you managed to get confirmation from all banks that they each have no plans to use XRP.
    Why waste any time here?

Artificially being bearish and giving contradicting views, just for the sake of it, is something different than “ challenging and triggering healthy discussion”. I’m sure you know that.  So far most of the “ balanced or contrarian views”  are just circle FUD in a negative echochamber.  There’s nothing informative about it for new investors.
Challenging with the right tone of voice would be better, but is very rare and not given to everyone it seems.

Well, I've heard it all now.  What you're saying here (and this really is funny) is that it's somehow strange/wrong that people are putting their mouth where their money is (yes, that way around).  Of course investors are bullish on their investment.  Duh! Their "agenda" is they openly and obviously have money invested into XRP.  Not sure what you want here? Investors to be bearish on their own investment? If I become ultimately bearish about XRP, I'll sell up and move on.  I won't be hanging around here trying to justify my decision.  I won't be chastising XRP holders to try to balance their opinions in some weird PC-controlling kind of way.  Life's too short, and there's way too many other things I can put my money into.   I guess this is the modern disease of everyone having to have absolutely balanced opinions on every topic, and if they're more bullish than merely neutral, then some killjoy comes in and says "hey X% of your posts are too bullish, how about your tone it down a bit?".  SMH.  I think you can't stand the idea that someone somewhere is enjoying themselves and being positive about something.
