BLPinfinity got a reaction from cryptoxrp in Japanese Bankers Association adopt SWIFT GPI
Swift GPI is just a messaging system like xcurrent. It makes it bidirectional and fees mostly transparent.
The SWIFT upgrade ISO20022 which all banks must do by November 18 is making them compatible with the ILP as ISO20022 is one of the 3 main protocols it uses for comms.
SWIFT Temenos and SAP are all aligning to be connected into the ILP and in some cases the ripple suite directly.
The above news is all positive IMO.
I am very certain we will see swift payments settled instantly with the use of the ILP and this XRP at some stage.

Exactly. What people are not seeing is that ripple have the deck stacked no matter which way people go.
XRP gets used regardless because if the ILP.
Temenos have 3000 banking clients and are integrated and licensing/whiteboxing ripple solutions to plug in for their customers.
SAP are doing the same thing for their some 300,000 business customers world wide with Xvia which will use XRP for settlement when it goes live.
SWIFT know they are screwed so they either upgrade internally to plug into the ILP and upgrade their own messaging system (GPI, Swiftnet) not maintained their customer base or they go away.
Ripple can also work directly with banks and businesses.
What's coming if you are patient will blow your mind. It will be incremental as liquidity builds but it won't take long.

@vsyc you were a good functioning member of the Zerpening. You were even a mod. Your contributions both positive and negative towards XRP used to be welcomed. You then started attacking other members of the group for what reason I don’t know. Only you will know. For this reason you were removed.
It’s a Private Club with over 800 members. It’s deliberately a fun “hang out” style, chat room where we talk a lot of crap,  with a lot of “shoot the breeze” types discussion. There is also a lot of very serious, educated discussion from some very intelligent members. Yes, we are pro XRP, of course we are. Some of the members believe in $589 a lot don’t. But we are all pro XRP. And why wouldn’t we be? The site is XRPChat and the Club is called the Zerpening. Where else would you go to discuss and celebrate your investment.
You have taken another opportunity to bash the Club and insult some of its members. If you seriously did not care about the Club (which you say you don’t) you wouldn’t continually rubbish it in the general forum or on zerpbox, which you do often. No one is forced to join or read the posts. It’s very easy to ignore altogether. If the Zerpening is not your cup of tea, great more power to you but stop bashing it
This forum is full of many diverse people with diverse opinions about XRP. This should be cherished. Insulting a Club that you were once a very active member of is not cool and just shows a negative jealousy. I hope you can move past this and celebrate what hopefully will be some positive movement in XRP’s price in the near future, whether that’s $5, $10, $50 or $589.

Yes there is the Zerpbox for chat, I will grant you that, and it absolutely has it's place on this forum as a chat room for serious discussion as well as the odd amusing moments.   I lurk there often as well as other parts of this forum and enjoy it for what it is. I consider the Zerpening a much more friendly, easygoing place to read amusing as well as informative posts.  It is not  an every minute cheering/dreaming club. That is simply not true, it is a fooling around/joking/sometimes very informative place, and that works for it's members.  It serves a purpose for them. You are right in that they celebrate bronze/gold etc, but I still say the reaction counts are a direct result of banter and I have yet to see one of the Gold/Silver members using their credibility here irresponsibly.   This forum is called XRP chat, and therefore you are going to, mostly, find people here that are pro XRP and will argue against people being negative if they cannot supply a reasonable argument for their negative posts. There most certainly are people who post here with an agenda, but the gold members of the Zerpening are not among them.
I don't often engage because my life is crazy busy, and if I make a statement, (like I did last night here with you), I often don't have a chance to come back and reply or argue my point for many hours.  I am commenting here and then leaving for a day of driving for work, so please don't take my lack of any further response as being rude or admitting you are right.

Both FUD and FED often are coming down to what one believe is gonna happen. Sometimes based on an extrapolation of historical patterns, sometimes just based on gut feelings.
Point is:  debates and discussions about believes and feelings do tend to have a standard  pattern : “ yes, it is” - “ no it isn’t”.
FUD or FED is in the eye of the beholder.
If you don’t like it ,then a Physics or Science forum is a better place to go. Although saying that the galaxy isn’t infinite is considered as FUD by some.
    Anyway: when moon?

We're already in the "it took years" era right now.
The original idea for Ripple was launched fourteen years ago.  XRP was launched six years ago. ILP was introduce two and a half years ago. xRapid was announced one year ago.

Your more likely to be struck by lightning, then to win powerball......yet it happens......who would have predicted amazon at a trillion? Put in the cash in your okay losing....then let people dreams be what they are...it’s pretty simple..the long term value is zero or close to.....or substantially better? TBD....you don’t like speculation....stay out of a speculative market, in the time inbetween please offer me more than personal attacks and short sided low quality arguments about price predictions. If you don’t like the 589 price prediction..great but why? Marketcap? Custody issues from FI? Lack of adoption? Regulatory hurdles etc?

At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I disagree: While I don't know when the new parabolic price increase will take place, I believe that it will take place.  That was the point of my introduction to the blog - the last one took place with just a few main exchanges, and those ones encountered great difficulties in on-boarding new traders.  Now we have over 300% more exchanges, and there is very little obstructing new investors from very quickly transfering fiat value.
The current status of XRP's liquidity ecosystem is literally apples-and-oranges different than last December.
That being said, my hope is that the new parabolic price increase will be reflective of paralleled utility-driven demand this time, so that we can plateau the price and stabilize it at the new level.

Ethereum went from $10 to $1,353 in less than a year. Aside from ETH being listed on twice as many exchanges as XRP, I have a hard time understanding why XRP couldn't/wouldn't have a similar run when xRapid goes lives.
    Can anyone elaborate?

When xRapid goes live, RippleNet reaches hundreds of millions of people instantly. And then we’re talking about Metcalfe’s Law in action.
Currently people buy cryptos speculatively; buy today, profit tomorrow. Amount exchanges is essential and one buy, one sell is just one buy, one sell. xRapid changes all this!
With xRapid all joining banks / financial institutes /corporates transactions go to xCurrent, and all value changing transactions source their liquidity from XRP.
EACH CURRENCY CHANGING TRANSACTION IS ONE BUY, ONE SELL !
    EACH ONE !!!
People disregard this when calculating amount exchanges instead of amount transactions.
That means we all are customers to an exchange without even knowing it, each and every transaction being one buy, one sell, and that is revolutionary!
you are customer to something you don’t know about, never heard of, don’t care about, but still all your transactions add value to us all ??
The amount of transactions skyrocket in an instant! No matter how small they may be, the overall volume is beyond wildest thoughts.

And thank you @Hodor for another well written article ?
