  1. It’s like an ETF for cryptos...for example the IBB (iShares NASDAQ Biotechnology Fund) is a weighted index of shares of biotech/Pharma companies listed on the NASDAQ. This is great new because it is institutional & retail investors buying XRP through this investment vehicle.

  4. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/nist-blockchain-report-examines-tech-135310696.html Here is the link to the actual paper —> Didn’t learn anything new regarding XRP or Ripple, but some interesting comments on quantum computing and its potential impact on cryptography. I don’t have any significant knowledge base in this discipline. Wondering what others think about this comment and if and how Ripple’s blockchain can stand up to such technology and or safeguard against what is mentioned here.... “The report notes that practical quantum computers, which could be developed in the near future, would be capable of greatly weakening (and, in some cases, rendering useless) existing cryptographic algorithms. This could result in the need to change, or update, the cryptography technology used in today’s blockchain systems. The report provides a table, taken from NIST’s 2016 “Report on Post-Quantum Cryptography,” describing the impact of quantum computing on common cryptographic algorithms. In summary, RSA, Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECDSA and ECDH) and Finite Field Cryptography (DSA) should be considered as no longer secure. AES, SHA-2 and SHA-3 should use larger key and output sizes.” thanks for any comment / insights....
  5. That’s what makes me even more excited about my growing stash of XRP. If XRP was not a threat, why spend so much time and effort warning everyone about how useless it is as an investment (i.e., in their opinion). I don’t think their intentions are purely altruistic.
