This OP was actually a slightly snarky response that hasn’t aged very well to just such a thread.

I guess I should of added a /s to the above post just incase someone was unsure on which side of the fence I was on and didn't get the irony.

I don’t take take investment advice from strangers on the internet. And I’m here to chat about XRP at a place called xrpchat. 💪

There is absolutely no way we will drop down from our current level of 32c! Its all upwards from here. Claiming we will drop is pure FUD. I see us in the mid $.40 by Friday.

    Oh, excuse me very much.
I didn't know that you can't afford to have a little fun, even if a person makes wild claims, doesn't substantiate them in a public forum, but only makes the information available through dubious PMs, and overlooks all his false predictions afterwards and simply makes new claims.
To this day we have no reason why PhiGuy saw a high chance for 40+ cents. ("data looks good")
It's always possible that the prediction won't come true, after all we're talking about high probability and not absolute certainty (and that is totally fine). Nevertheless, people who make claims without justification are not to be taken seriously.
But PhiGuy went even further - he didn't substantiate his claim, let the time of his false predictions simply pass by and then had the audacity to open another thread with "it begins now, enjoy the ride".
I'm old enough not to make my investment decisions dependent on people from an internet forum, but there are certainly a handful of young inexperienced cryptokids who need to be protected from such posters

Jesus. Why are there so many god damn people like this involved with this investment. Doesn't matter where you go, here, twitter, reddit, discord. There's always some rando chode claiming just wait until (insert vague date.) Can't say what it is because "they'll get in trouble" but truly there is nothing. Come on. This kind of hopium crap is what makes the price stagnant even when we actually do receive real, legit good news. This kind of crap should not be allowed.

Dude I know about Amazon Uber etc etc with their venture capital monopol plan. That's not the point.
The point it that either the CEO or CTO said they do not require the sell of their digital asset to keep the lights on and now they do say it. The contradiction and dishonesty that's the point.

First off all i don't know how reliable this news is since the crypto space is filled with shilling shady articles that hype sh!t up more then it means. But if it's true then this is another sign that Ripple is dishonest with us.
And notice how i'm not talking about them using XRP sales to build the railway perse because most of that has already been done.
I'm talking about the fact that he says that they need the XRP sales to keep the lights on, because i recall either Brad or DS saying they do not require the sale of XRP to survive but do it out of necessity to spread XRP on the market to increase the liquidity.
If the article above is accurate, then this is yet another thing that contradicts with what Ripple said earlier.
We already have the famously overly optimistic predictions made by Mr Garlinghouse about the big bank(s) using XRP. And now this.

Jotaro I think happiness is an elusive quality largely connected to identity and having a sense of self worth.  Your plan would give you lots of pleasurable experiences, but life is more than a string of pleasurable experiences, although I guess you would develop passions through developing your skills like languages and entertaining with magic tricks.  My personal experience is that we find happiness through our relationships with other people, such as teaching, raising children, running a business, being very good at something others find useful.

as much as i dont think your contribution make sense, i cant/dont judge you, everyone is different. I asked one of my best friends what if he had retirement level of money, will he quit job? He said he'd still continue to teach, because teaching is his passion.
Maybe you find a high level of satisfaction in raising kids up, you're willing to go through hardships, living a hard life / giving up life just to see that happen, am i right? you can elaborate more so i can understand better as a human being
