Its in swedish, but the news is from the government of sweden that a deal with the world bank abot sending money directly to the cell phones of Sudan people.
No dates mentioned, not either how the transactions will be made. But bank the unbanked sounds familiar 🙂
Edit: to the original governant press release.

XRP is the only sure thing in crypto. I just added more @ .18 cents. Even small investments at this price will drastically lower you average. I just wish I had more ÂŁÂŁÂŁ

It's one thing to identify a technology, a product, or a service even, that has success written all over it. It's another to not get overly excited and jump in either too early or especially, too deep. Only if you can weather a long storm of uncertainty, with no financial duress influencing your outlook, do you really have a good chance of knocking it out of the park with an investment. It's written all over most of the major success stories, that they've had periods of huge price retracements, before eventually going on to incredible appreciations. It's sad to see people get shaken out of good projects, before their roots have had a chance to take hold.

He provided some great insight into the bank issued coins here, nice find!
But Garlinghouse has labelled it deeply misguided. In a post on LinkedIn, he says: “A bank-issued digital asset can only really efficiently settle between the banks who issued it. Then, two scenarios can play out. Scenario one: all banks around the world put aside competitive and geopolitical differences, adopt the same digital asset, agree on its rules, and harmoniously govern its usage. Fat chance. Scenario two (the more likely scenario): banks not in the issuing group issue their own digital assets with their own sets of rules and governance.”
We’re seeing this already, he argues, with Citi’s Citicoin and Goldman Sachs’ SETLcoin. “The result would be an even more fragmented currency landscape than what we have today. If banks of different digital asset groups want to settle trades with one another, they’ll have to make markets between their unique digital assets or trade between their digital assets and a common fiat currency. What a mess!”
Another problem with the Utility Settlement Coin is it will be backed by a basket of currencies. Once backed by cash, it’s no longer an asset; it’s a liability, Garlinghouse claims. Trading liabilities then ultimately requires moving cash across borders, re-creating today’s system but adding more friction.
“We strongly believe banks need an independent digital asset to enable truly efficient settlement and we believe XRP (the native digital asset to the Ripple network) is best positioned for that role. It goes back to the fundamentals of what makes digital assets unique and special – they’re universal currencies, meaning anyone can use them as units of value anywhere in the world. That universality gives digital assets global reach and the ability to settle much faster than traditional assets,” he writes. “Compared head to head with other independent digital assets (like Bitcoin or ether), XRP settles the most efficiently cross-border, in just seconds. In fact, we’ve run tests with global banks to prove XRP can lower liquidity costs for cross-border trades. More to come on that front."

    Brad Garlinghouse from the article:

"Scenario two (the more likely scenario): banks not in the issuing group issue their own digital assets with their own sets of rules and governance."
"We’re kinda seeing this already, as the FT points out, with Citi’s Citicoin and Goldman Sachs’ SETLcoin. The result would be an even more fragmented currency landscape than what we have today. If banks of different digital asset groups want to settle trades with one another, they’ll have to make markets between their unique digital assets or trade between their digital assets and a common fiat currency. "The second big problem with the “utility settlement coin” is it seems it’ll be backed by a basket of currencies. Once backed by cash, it’s no longer an asset; it’s a liability. Trading liabilities then ultimately requires moving cash across borders, re-creating today’s system but adding more friction!"

I have some green after making a big purchase at 0.29, but I am in the red overall.
Why cut your losses now? You'll miss the big show.
Did you invest more than you should have? Do you not see the reward massively outweighing the risk here?

Dont focus on the price or your profits/losses, focus on the fundamentals. You'll feel better.

@HelmsdeepIt is becoming a bit obvious that your only purpose here is to spread  FUD and disillusionment.  Your ultra low projections for next year on another thread and now your invention of insane conspiracy theories on this thread make it very clear that you are not invested in XRP.  You seem to have a malicious agenda to undermine confidence?

First of all a good idea to leave the majority of your stash alone for a few years.

Whether trading the remaining 10k of XRP's is a good idea depends on how you manage to 'time the market' and increase your stash. One wrong bet and you could lose a lot of those 10k xrp. The theory is simple ofcourse, sell high, buy when lower. The fact is that there are not many succesful traders around. In the end it's all a bet.

I read about a research done to see what sorts of people made the most profits when being in stocks. Number one were those that forgot about their investment for years. The second best were the ones that died during the investment. Third in came traders.

Ofcourse in traders there are plenty of stories about succesful ones, and there simply are good ones, but most were the ones that got in early (like in btc) and were patient. The stories about the majority that lost, you don't hear those very often.

Saturday november 17 i made a banktransfer from Thailand to Holland.
    THB/EURO
western union had the exchange rate of almost 41 and transaktion fees/commision for 2250 THB.
SCB had the exchange rate of almost 38 and teansactionfee/commision of 550 THB.
At SCB they Said transfer could take 3-5 bankdays. We where There on saturday, on monday the money was on the Holland account. If bankdays not involve saturday and sunday it means the transfer was made the same day
Sounds at least interesting since the fee and the time was really low and fast. The amount to send was 48000 THB or about 1300 Euro.
