  1. I think the rich do have a duty to give to the poor. But not in the biblical sense that @ringer2 is on about. The returns that we get from our cryptoinvestments don’t just come out of nowhere. And it’s impossible to say that cryptocurrency mining doesn’t affect the world’s poor. While we have the luxury of the internet to sit and type away on chat forums, more than half of the world’s population do not have access to electricity and are still dependent on wood, crop residues and animal wastes as their main cooking and heating fuels. The majority of us are in countries that have reached peak progress while there are people struggling with water, global climate, economic and food security. Western colonisation and enslavement of poor countries is at least partly responsible for the conditions of the global poor. And the conduct of the rich imposes and supports unjust global structures and systems that harm the global poor. If we are not choosing alternatives that would do less harm to our planet and our fellow humans, how are we any different from the world’s one-percenters? Giving doesn’t have to have monetary value. It can be your time, sharing of your skills, etc.
  2. Happy birthday! I don't think turning 30 would feel anymore different than turning 25. I'd say you become more confident in your decisions and life-choices, but that's all.
  3. https://www.finder.com.au/western-union-why-we-arent-doing-cryptocurrency Seems like Western Union will not be using Ripple in the near-term. "A lot of cryptocurrencies are being created to facilitate distributed ledger payments, and adoption will probably get a lot easier once they're up and running. In some ways, the more direct solutions like Ripple XRP aren't the most practical."
  4. Hi all, I've next to zero experience in chart analysis, but I'm starting to gain an interest in TA, having made my first investment in December using some birthday money (In other words, I'm a newb) I think it could take another dip to 0.50 before breaking out past $1.5 USD, or, break past 0.5 and return to the 0.2-0.4 support range. Either way, I think we're about to lose all of its December to January 4 gains and we are still in a bearish market. Hope I'm wrong!! ><
  5. Hi @Still1 I found another article with the same price prediction. https://www.theindependentrepublic.com/2018/02/07/692-30-per-ripple-xrp-and-3-other-price-predictions-in-a-nutshell/
  6. Haha.. This reminded me of the gym I used to go to and once looked in on a crossfit class briefly to see if it's something I could do and I saw a coach yelling at clients to pump them up. I immediately knew it wasn't for me. If someone raises their voice at me instinctually I either need to yell twice as loud or send them a 2 page long text about how they've disrespected me, neither of which I would be allowed to do there.
  7. Nevermind, I might be wrong after all. Haha.
  8. Hi @Ripplista79 This is exactly what I do too. 70% core, 30% play money. You explained it much better than I did though
  9. Just ordered my Nano S. Will have to wait till March 26 for it to ship. :/
  10. Hi @johnlogan I don't mean to be rude, but could you please stop posting pics of scantily-clad women on an XRP- forum. Regardless of whether it's your gf or not, this isn't 4Chan.
