  1. Etoro haven't suspended buys for UK. They've stopped CFD products, so shorting and leverage for retail buyers. Unless there are some 'new' account restrictions I'm unaware of?
  2. Fingers crossed, After spending hours and hours on youtube and the internet on the SEC case I'm perfectly happy that this will be just a bump in the road. Pretty much all legal opinion is that this will likely settle with a fine, no admission of guilt and clarity on how Ripple can sell XRP in the future.
  3. This has actually worked out for me personally better than I thought. Sold on the SEC news, bought BTC and ETH and waited for XRP to settle down. Bought back at 0.26...I've doubled my bag!
  4. I don’t see any advantage to doing it. After going through the SEC complaint, yeh Ripple did some shady stuff (allegedly) but it’s not particularly surprising when you think about the difficulty of what they were trying to do. I really think the case will be settled and hopefully that will finally give some clarity.
  5. Do nothing and wait for the case to settle.
  6. I think there is a difference between security transactions and XRP being deemed a current security? correct me if I'm wrong. The court case is hugely damaging for Ripple, but this is a civil case, not a criminal case. Huge fines, new legislation, XRP not a current security and we move on is my best guess at this stage.
  7. I find it a bit odd that the SEC have engaged in FUD...it's almost like it was written by a bitcoin maxi. We know that WU didn't make significant savings because what ripple found was huge companies like that on their own network already have a pretty efficient set up that works for them. I think that's what this is referring to.
  8. Cheers for the replies, some great discussion - lots to pick through and learn about!
  9. woah, can’t believe I got some TA right. Although we haven’t dropped that far yet.
  10. Potentially if it does confirm bearish ascending wedge target about 0.53 ish?
  11. My question would be is this a rising wedge? Which could signal a leg down?
  12. lol, well, it's really winding up at the moment. I'm going for a break downwards :p
  13. Bit of an ascending wedge pattern now on XRP, this potentially could see the price fall into the mid .5 range? Might be a great buy opportunity if it does.
  14. So it looks like Libra will launch as early as January 2021 with 1 dollar backed coin. I've been trying to understand how stable coins are used and whether the pose a threat to XRP. My question is simple really - could Libra be used for cross border transactions or are fiat backed currencies simply creating more friction? https://www.ft.com/content/cfe4ca11-139a-4d4e-8a65-b3be3a0166be
  15. This has whats got me really interested, not sure why there has been so little focus on the XRP volume which now appears to be holding above ETH and at times within a billion or two of BTC. This is excellent!
  16. This is a little confusing. They seem to have been very positive about ripplenet but for whatever reason for the time being have opted for traditional correspondent banking messaging systems? I think they key thing for me is that they haven’t suddenly solved and of the problems ripple is trying to solve, but maybe you can correct me.
  17. Unexpected?! We’ve gained 200% in a week or so. This was long overdue!
  18. Volume now above ETH and a few billion off BTC. Not sure I’ve seen it so high before.
  19. Looks like xrp broke the neckline of the inverse head and shoulders. 0.4 incoming?
  20. I suspect we will get up to 0.3 to test the neckline of the inverse H&S? If that breaks 0.4 isn't unlikely quite soon.
  21. Interestingly your arrow points right at the inverse H and S :p
  22. More I look at it the neckline of the inverse H and S sits at a very important level, could be interesting should XRP break above 0.3 toward 0.4...could potentially be the reversal point? Until then we are still in the XRP bear market.
