I will be selling all the way up to 100 and buying back as well. It ain't gonna be a straight ride up, but i do agree many people will sell. Imagine we go to $12 and back to $4. Rinse repeat all the way up to 100 and you can bet plenty of people won't be able to deal with that kind of pressure.

You've been HODLing since $2? So like 4 months? Wow what patience you have. You should probably get out now.

I am expecting between $10 and $30 EOY however that is based on current information and is my conservative estimate. I genuinely see no reason whatsoever that it couldn't be far, far higher. This product has the potential to be in the hundreds of dollars by the end of this year. If all the stars align and the institutions move in, the price will fly. You will know it has started because it wont go up 15% in one day, it will go up 400% in one day and keep going after that.

People are thinking too small IMHO. Oh, and don't listen to that pussycat. He is exactly that.

Nothing to do with balls. I don't want to wait for 5-10 years. I am in this for 2-3 years, max 5 depending on developments. Each to their own right? I am in my early 30s and I don't want to start enjoying the wealth only when I am 40.

Thanks for the video Alex.  Lotta whack jobs on this forum unfortunately.  Anyone bashing and demanding “answers” I suggest you buy a webcam and get recording.  Keep up the enthusiasm bud and don’t get discouraged.  XRP will have its day.

I agree with your points Alex; XRP's reach is growing leaps and bounds despite the current market downturn.  First Safari integrates the W3C Web Payments standard, and then Ellen tweets to her 78 million followers.
In terms of mainstream coverage... I can't think of any other crypto that is as well-known.  Except Bitcoin, of course!

@Babelly same here. I sometimes felt jealous with the guys who bought at .006. Shoulda, woulda coulda..
Some are still around, but many gave up due to XRP price not meeting their expectations fast enough. In fact, I believe the founder of first XRP community forum got fed up with the lack of price movement and abandoned the forum.
It is easy to be jealous with those who got in first, but it takes a lot of determination and courage to invest your money into something and keep bearings on the end goal. I don’ t care I’m in the red now, I wont be selling anytime soon but I will re-evaluate at the end of the year and might adjust accordingly.

No no, I first got into crypto in july 2017. So yes, I’m in the green, but not in miles near enough profits to retire. And sold only a tiny bit at the ATH, to celebrate the gains and finance a ski holiday in Austria with my wife and 2 sons. The holiday took place in february and was fantastic, but while skiing I saw XRP plummet..... some apres-ski helped to soothe the pain.

I've arrived at the same conclusions.
The existing legacy intentional monetary system is still really screwed up at the moment.  I don't think that most people can truly appreciate the creative accounting tricks that were implemented by central banks back in 08 and 09 to stave off economic meltdown and to keep bellies full...
Ripple, XRP and crypto as a whole provide central bankers with new tools to help slowly unwind this mess.

My assumption is that XRP and ILP are positioned as the new reserve liquidity and framework for international transactions, effectively replacing the dollar as reserve currency with no strings attached to any of the world players. This goes combined with a global debt reset. Revolutionary? You bet! We have had several of such paradigm changing events happening in the past.
Pure speculation, but that's my assumption. As you said, they haven't elaborated on it. Whether the above is true or false, one thing is sure, Ripple provides enough value to catch the interest of some of the most powerful institutions.

Ripple is much bigger than many here seem to think. They have their tentacles in pretty much every institution involved in shaping the future of monetary policy and their staff is well connected and part of all sorts of policy bodies.
Then they have a product that appears to be rock solid and dare I cautiously say - seems to be going to deliver a real product rather than a theoretical concept.
And then they work together with 40-50 Central Banks. You really believe such a substantial number of CBs would work together with Ripple if they had serious doubts?

I don't see the need for these kind of fanboy posts - with all due respect. As this is a Ripple/XRP dedicated forum, it naturally attracts supporters as most of us have a stake in it. I have no problems however to debate people with critical views or who have lost confidence in Ripple. It's in fact a very healthy thing not to be blinded by bias and have critical discussions on our investments. Obviously that is something different from the useful spread of FUD. It just goes too far to me that those who are pessimistic are not welcome.

Technically the valuation is higher. Many assumptions made but can't really make a proper valuation without making certain assumptions, it is certainly better than most of our assumptions here or most other youtubers.
Importantly she makes the link between Xcurrent adoption and XRP price (via regulation-->investment fund managers entering crypto/XRP based on their professional evaluations).
Based on bank international settlements only, does not include burn rate and other use cases that Ripple are trying to target (Xpring, Codius) but she acknowledges these amongst other things. Fast forward to 43:20

I agree with you.  Criticism of XRP should be encouraged.  There was another thread talking about how much XRP (37% including escrow, 80% not including escrow) is held by the top 100 wallets.  That's quite worrying and an undeniable fact - my point isn't to suppress this kind of information (https://ledger.exposed/rich-stats)
I was talking about people continually obsessed with the price and not fundamentals.  The price right now is neither here nor there and it's obvious some posters' views are completely influenced by the price so whenever they post it's always a negative comment.  I am struggling to see genuine information in these comments.
I just gave some advice - they don't need to take it, but they probably will feel better selling their XRP for some short-term gains.
