@Hodor very interesting post from your early days I just came across via google.
Would you mind sharing an update on your report from 2017. I have come to the same conclusion and I strongly believe ILP with XRP as liquidity asset are planned to be used in the near future with SDR (e)currencies to replace the dollar as a more stable and fair reserve option.
    Some snippets:

"Zhou Xiaochuan, the central bank’s governor, said the goal would be to create a reserve currency “that is disconnected from individual nations and is able to remain stable in the long run, thus removing the inherent deficiencies caused by using credit-based national currencies”.
To replace the current system, Mr Zhou suggested expanding the role of special drawing rights, which were introduced by the IMF in 1969 to support the Bretton Woods fixed exchange rate regime but became less relevant once that collapsed in the 1970s.
    ...
China’s proposal would expand the basket of currencies forming the basis of SDR valuation to all major economies and set up a settlement system between SDRs and other currencies so they could be used in international trade and financial transactions."

I can appreciate your enthusiasm Alex, but I tried and found your videos unbearable to watch.  You should work off of a script to avoid the constant repeating of your points. Please don’t take this in a negative way, it’s meant to be constructive criticism.  I had a horrible time giving speeches when trying to wing it and found that putting in the hours of practicing my lines helped tremendously.  You have great drive and it will serve you well in life.

Because I've accumulated enough for my liking. Enough is enough and my risk appetite doesn't let me buy more.
Besides, if we ever reach +$10 i'll make a nice sum of money, so why would I increase my risk even further?

No, this is whats going to happen: Coming weekend the price will rise a little and also during the beginning of Swell. Then on the second day of Swell Brad will suddenly come on stage with his bear-suit on. He will be pointing at his 9th tooth while he runs towards a large red button. He grabs his XRP magic wand and slams the button. The stage is going to be filled with a golden shower of garlands while Brad screams: "Five Eight Nine! Five Eight Nine! Five Eight Nine! Five Eight Nine! " At this point Christine Legarde will come up the stage and starts singing the national anthem of Europe. ... and thats it... price will blow UP.
    - Hope so -

I'm not quite as optimistic, I think if we break over $10 we're going to come back down quickly, but I do think there will be a new ATH within 6 months.
on the sentiment front I'm seeing a change too - strangely, after this last rise in price a lot of naysayers from the cryptotwitter space are softening their anti-XRP stances and actually trading it. I guess missing out on an opportunity to double your money is a pretty strong motivator.

This - so many people have sold their XRP already. At these levels, there would be a huge uptake, simply because people know XRP has been at $3. So spending some money on such an undervalued asset and it being close to rock bottom would imo usher in a huge buying spree.
But can we go there, certainly. There was a guy saying here that XRP would go below $1.50, he got almost stoned to death - this was blasphemy and impossible. Look where we are at now.

It's quite hard to imagine at this point how scarce XRP will be:
Imagine 200 Banks want to buy xrp for all their offices in the world. That's literally tens of thousands offices having XRP on their account to trade with. Let's say every office needs 500,000 zerps as a minimum, times 10,000 or more. That alone would require 5 billion XRP, just for penny-trades. Now think about FI's moving tens of billions worth of dollars every day: bingo! On top of that there would be needed tens of billions of XRP to move around money in the Derivates market........
Please keep in mind that the circulating amount of XRP of 40 billion coins isn't available on the market at all atm. It would be 10-12 billion max. I read in another post.
Once this coin goes in full production 10, 50, 100 or maybe even 1,000 dollars a coin won't be enough. It's the timeframe we all are anxious about. This could take-off next week, but might take 2-3 years. HODL is the keyword people. We don't wanna be Greg...
For me it's quite simple. I invested what i can afford to loose. I will sell gradually down the upward line, taking some profits but leaving most of my xrp for insane prices. If it goes to zero: i will kick myself in the ..ss but move on with my life as usual. If it turns out to be the best investment i've ever could have made, i'm financially independent for the rest of my life.

DQA got a reaction from XRPRJB in So, where do we stand today
Ever since the joy of ripple Christmas gifts back in December, we have only gone done for 8 months straight. BTC declined over 70%, which I believe brings this correction on par with the previous biggest correction dating back to 2013. There's little margin left to correct one would think.
I never though i'd see an opportunity to buy XRP $.20s so I am not complaining but I am curious where you guys think we currently are at.I am not feeling desperate neither have I panicked, but I am wondering what the general market sentiment is like. Are we currently in the "opportunity stage" or are we in "denial"?

DQA reacted to lucky in 11 banks leave a Japanese bank consortium.
If I google for the title in Japanese, I see many references to this news in april. The increase of monthly contribution from 300,000 to 600,00 yen was the main reason for the departure.
"Its' better to use the remittance technology for the Ripple network when it is ready, we think it can then be used regardless of the membership of this association". Seems like a healthy business decision, to say no to a 100% contribution increase, without good reasons. And a stupid move from the consortium to double the membership fee.

    * The product xRapid that is being prepared for live release, will make it easy, there's no question about that.
    * Price fluctuations will only be relevant within the time-frame of the transaction, which is so short that it still reduces exposure to rate changes, compared with traditional systems.
