  1. Similar movement to January 2017 when Bitcoin rocketed to $1,128 nearly it's previous ATH of $1,163 in 2013 then fell to $764 a few days latter before resuming its move up. Will it play out the same way again??

  2. These pull backs happen. The bull run has hardly begun and we went up 140% and pulled back less than half of that which is pretty normal in crypto. The problem is that you cannot predict volatile crypto markets with accuracy, which is why to play them is more dangerous than holding. We were on .26 a few weeks ago, now we are on .50. You did the right thing in selling at .75, it was the perfect exit point for you, too early for me. The likelihood is that we will have some recovery in coming weeks and the ATH of 3.3 for XRP will be happening in the not to distant future.

  3. If XRP can honestly consolidate here for a few days without tanking, I'm not sure I have the vocabulary to describe how bullish that would be. Pray for a sideways consolidation to set a new base here between $0.60-0.70. Even typing that sounds bizarre after watching literal years of sub-$0.30 prices...

  4. Leave off Baka, he is doing things his way and making a good job of it. His comments have gone from too little confidence to some over-confidence, and I guess in time he will get the balance right. He is the one to watch, he works hard and shares his opinions, what's not to like?

  5. everyone says they are in for the long term. But when it rises quickly or drops sharply, they all go nuts (in both ways). Just stay calm, never panic, set your goals, stick to them. I did not sell in 2017 because I had no plan, just greed. Now I have a plan. Only thing I can do is wait for it to unfold. It might never unfold. So be it

  6. we are still 80% up compared to last week. 3 days ago everybody was happy with the price. We are at the same level as three days ago No need to panic.

  9. The only people who win at the crypto game are the ones who sell. Hodlers who never sell can never win. When you are in the green and making profits, selling is NEVER bad, even if you don't get maximum profit or if you miss out on a leg up. Selling high gives acute FOMO and makes you feel like sh*t, it is counter-intuitive, Always remember that what matters is the $ in your bank account, even when people tell you off for dumping your bags on them. That's how it rolls.

  10. Ok i see, timing the market is never easy. Good to see you in the green. Never wrong to take profit as we can never buy at the lowest and never sell at the highest:)

The retrace has completed 40%, a normal dip percentage during bull run, and now having a speedy recovery. Selling wick is now 50% of the whole candle, indicating the buying pressure is very high to negate the selling pressure.

  12. Corrections are never fun to watch and they hurt, but it was in the cards that we could return to 45-50 cent range. It was a 50% chance so to speak so I am not surprised or shocked at all. what is most important is that we dont fall below .305, how crazy it sounds but that is the pricepoint we NEED to hold to keep an insanely bullish scenario for 2021 intact. If we look back at previous runs, we always had corrections that brought us back to a previous resistance, which in this case was .45-.50. With .305 being the breakout pricepoint where massive 3 year resistance was. It

  14. That's the rational way of handling it, however if i were to take profits here and there, it would impact my plan to retire early, i can't afford to divest any of my bags before $10, it wouldn't be life changing enough. I rather go big or go home, working is like a prison to me. Here's to hope both of us good luck. By the way, dips are being bought hard, people wouldn't let it dip below 50c for too long. Aah good times, every time i refresh my portfolio the up and downs can be around 500 to 1000 usd, such roller coaster no doubt its the bull run.

  15. Good luck, I have enough to make me rich in a few years time if XRP breaks its ATH and then goes some more. I have not reason to risk my future by playing a market I could never fully understand.

  20. I added a little this morning at around .5. Will add a bit more at .47, but think we're nearing end of this correction. I'll post some charts later today, out with family now. Cheers all, it looks good for us to get our monthly close above .305, been a long time since we did that.

  21. So, kind of a good news, bad news post. Bad news first: I think this dump is only about halfway done. Good news: during the bull market phase of BTC, these usually fully recover after about a week or so. This chart is from the 2017 run up. You see a number of big pullbacks and they usually wick down to the bottom of the Bollinger Bands. Next chart shows the current BTC chart, which shows the current chart and the estimate of where I think we bottom.

  23. Hi Baka, good for you, but make sure you have everything done in a correct format for Taxation, because everytime you sell you have a captain gain event. Get it wrong and you will be in deep trouble. Friendly advice, not out to get you ok:)

Its very interesting to see things on the sidelines as it gives me more perspective. If I am gonna guess I am gonna guess it will consolidate around the 50c mark.

  26. Wow! What a smart move to sell at 79.5c a few days ago. I certainly didn't catch the high of $1.06 but I certainly sold at the right price with my target price in mind. This drop is very sudden and it drops too fast I think, back in 2017 XRP never had a drop like this. To me this is the end of the bull run for now. There will be another one in the next few years but I think as far as bull runs this is the end of the current one. Congratulations on the people who sold and took profit.

  28. Daily dose of hopium Dont worry lads, price is just chilling a bit before going up again after a few days, refer to below pics. We had our 3 big daily green candles in 2017, and also 2020, coincidentally after that we'll cool off a bit, so that's what we should expect, so far everything still playing out as previous cycle. If you find it hard to stomach, sell now. 2017 run 2020 current

Figure I may as well take it out for a night on the town. The problem is I can’t afford anything other than a drive thru and the truck is too big to fit through it.

  30. It's important, I think, to understand the tech companies' bind, as well... They are under pressure from one political party (though it's their preferred party, it seems, so they're not too upset about it, in the short term) to both cut off any evidence about the election's integrity and to silence any questions about the election's integrity, in the name of "misinformation." (There's a subtle threat in there, too: Don't question the election or there will be more violent riots. Which is the blackmailer's tool of "it's for your safety!") That's, in linguistics, called a "double-bind"

  33. There is a lot of information about Flare/Spark on this forum, and there are many knowledgeable people over here that understand how everything works. There are simple and step-by-step explanations about how to claim Spark, how the distribution would work out, and we have discussions about wheter or not we should keep Spark, or sell it straight away: But for those who want to hold Spark, what exactly can we do with the tokens? How can we, as simple XRP / Spark holders participate in the Flare ecosystem? How can we put our Spark to work and contribute to the system? What do we get if

  34. Disagree, during the 2017 bull run of XRP, XRP never dropped more than 40% from December to Jan 2018's high, in fact it went from $0.40 AUD to $4.34 AUD in about 45 days. I dont remember any major pullback of 40% during that time, I am calling the end of the bullrun (This time), 50C AUD will be our support. Fail that we be back to where we first started.

  35. This XRP resistance band at .45 - .5 should hold unless BTC falls dramatically, but look at what ERic123 just posted in his thread following BTC.. As long as we maintain above that hard-to-crack .305 -.325 we are looking good and "lucky" investors who sold at .7 will be coming in and rebuying and pushing the price back up. This video post by @Plikkin the zerpening is being praised a lot. A good watch if you are not used to these sorts of fluctuations. He sees the fast move down as being very helpful for long term holders.

  36. It's not mathematically feasible. What you need is a wallet that can sign transactions using the private key. https://ripplerm.github.io/ripple-wallet/ That wallet can. The source code is situated on github and is open source. It's only been updated with a security patch that all wallets have had to do. Lots of us have inspected it for malware. This is the source code https://github.com/ripplerm/ripple-wallet Your "seed" for the private key is a word list. The standard "seed" for XRP is the secret key sxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. Because your word list is not compatible you have a few opti

  37. No, not sooner than was expected. Plenty of warnings that were were due a pull back, lots of estimates that we would hit the mid 40s (given that BTC has a lot more to fall to make a proper correction I think it will likely be harder than that). The choices were between selling and taking profits (and living with it when in some years time you will see people who held sitting on huge profits), Holding and living through the turbulence (ambitious but you have to be ready and psychologically prepared to live through the dumps) , or playing the market (highly risky). Not easy choices, but

I should have sold when it was hanging around 70, but no i had to hodl and get the damn lid on my nose, again! Well, this was the last time ever that i waited so long to decide to sell when prices are up and then won't move for 24 hours because that's the sign that the engine runs out of steam and then it's all downhill again. Damn i'm soo pissed right now!

  42. Actually I am either, virtual coin is a one time investment for me (bet with husband). Now I have done it I certainly wouldn't touch it again. Most of my investment are in the more traditional industry like mining and banks. FMG, WBC. But its been a hell ride with the virtual coin so its a good learning curve. Take profit if you have, preserve your original capital. And let the rest do that it does is the best option with virtual coin i reckon.

Weekly timeframe: The (5) from Daily timeframe is actually only (3) in the weekly timeframe. We have one full year ahead in 2021 for it to play it all out, be patient and HODL, take your hopium doses everyday within recommended usage.

  45. Seems going sideways is the best we can hope for now, but more likely is a retrace to 0.50 or even the 0.40s. It's not what we want to see or some want to hear, but it's just that the strong bull run of course has to be reversed sooner or later and we definitely took that path it seems.
