  2. Things continue to look good Bitcoin is hovering around the $13,200 level give or take. Next price level to take out is the 2019 intraday high of $13,880. Bitcoin's 4 year cycle seems to be playing out similarly to the past, ( I find the arguments that the cycle time is lengthening unconvincing mainly because I feel they don't give enough weight to the halvings) if that is the case once we break the All Time High we can look forward to about a year of upward price movement. Where will Bitcoin's price peak and pull back to? If it happens like last time Peak around $400,000 and pul

  3. Just in case anyone was confused like I was. FLR stands for the Sparks token on the Flare Network. These are the tokens you'll get in December from having XRP. Might be worth hanging on to your Sparks until you can get your share of the DFLR (DAO Flare) tokens.

  7. those guys who bought at 3k will be very happy to cash out at 400k! Did you see the Crypto Eri video of the new BTC payments system on spend the bits on the XRP ledger? Convergence of XRP and BTC working together - very powerful news for both currencies?

  8. But that will be changing over the next few years. Both institutions and the average Joe will be entering the market. They will be entering not from the developed world, but also on their mobiles from under developed countries. I would think it not out of bounds for the market for digital money (perhaps a lot of this in CBDAs) to grow by X 100 + over the next decade. This is why I sleep so well at night even though my big 3 year investment in XRP still languishes in negative territory.

  11. Thank you for all you and @Eric123 do for the community! I’ve been monitoring this chat for years and recently created account to spread thanks. My gut tells me it is coming. In your opinion, what will be the length of this bull run? also, the pullback and consolidation...think it will be somewhere around 13k or a little lower?

  13. Well using Spark tokens you can generate income by becoming an agent to help generate FXRP Also YFLR is used in DeFi. Hopefullly in a couple of years these tokens will be worth some good value. Meanwhile they can potentially generate regular passive income on the side.

  14. Long time XRP holder but new to these boards. I've been reading a lot about the Flare network and how it functions. I'm particularly interested in the ability to collateralize my future Spark tokens to earn reservation and creation fees. My question has to do with the lifespan of the newly minted FXRP. It sounds like an originator could pay me the necessary fees to mint some FXRP, thereby locking up my Spark, and then keep that FXRP forever. How can I, as an agent, continue to earn fees if my Spark is locked away indefinitely? The originator pays a one-time fee. If they have man

  15. I would almost guarantee this is achieved using the native IOU functionality in conjunction with the DEX. The ability to send any asset instantly via the XRP ledger has always been one of its biggest advantages.

  17. Thanks for the kind words. Many people, including the excellent Bob Loukas, think we are in for another 4 year cycle, with the big run happening this upcoming year, in 2021. Others think that the cycles are lengthening and we are looking more like 2023. I rather favor the former and so I think the next year will be very exciting. I would not rule out a 6 figure BTC price. I think the pullback may not go much lower than 12k, definitely should stay above 11k. And it may not happen at all, we may just consolidate by time rather than price. Either way, it won't just be straight up to mo

  18. The 10 day MA is the blue line. Based on this slope, probably will run into it on Tuesday or Wednesday? Could also dip down to meet it anytime today or tomorrow. No guarantees, of course, but that seems to be the way it plays out during bull market impulsive moves. Would also caution that this likely rip up to 14k+ is going to be quickly followed by a pullback and consolidation as we form the daily cycle low. That should happen sometime in early to mid November. If you are looking for an entry to BTC, that might be the time to grab it. I truly believe that we are just entering what w

YMIN - used by Flare Mine YFLR- Yield Flare - the main platform token, used by Flare Loans & Flare Mutual. YFIN - Governance token used for voting on amendments Services... Flare X - distributed ODL between FLR = Spark, FXRP, FUSD, & YFLR Flare Farm - staking pool Flare USD - Stable Coin Flare Loans - distributed ODL for lending/borrowing Flare Mutual - some kind of insurance or risk sharing service (similar to KarmaCo

Pay as you go, this is for small retailers or individuals who want to accept CRYPTO . I asked why don't you offer the pay as you go with XRP. And this is the response I got. "The main reason is how fees are collected for non utxo chains. We would not be able to collect fees at the time of the transaction like which we do for BTC. This means we need to accrue withdrawal fees until the end of the month and send and invoice. As you can imagine,

  33. If someone would have told me in 2017 that BTC would be $13,000 in October 2020, I would have bet everything I had that XRP would be atleast $1.80 right now. XRP has always underperformed the rest of the digital asset market. But when XRP does move upward, it doesn't just catch up to the rest of the market's gains, it blows passed them. XRP has always seemed to have selling pressure which has kept the price more steady than most other digital assets. There has always been a steady flow of sellers that have deep pockets of XRP. This being companies, foundations or charities etc. whi

  35. I originally invested equal amounts in both ETH and XRP at the same time. My ETH investment is now worth about 15 times my XRP investment. I'm still holding out hope that XRP could one day skyrocket. But I'm becoming more and more pessimistic as time goes on. Now we're seeing Garlinghouse talking about moving the company to another country. It's never a good sign when CEOs start blaming (scapegoating) external factors like regulation for their own shortcomings.

  36. Basel III came out because of the 2008 crisis and banks taking a shit load of risk with all type of derivatives and counting them as reserve capital. Basel III has guidelines that a much higher amount of tier-1 capital needs to be maintained among other things. I don't have a finance background but I know a bit of this because I worked with a big 3 bank in 2009 in a technical role developing applications to do fed stress tests which were Basel II compliant and had to be Basel III compliant in the coming years to show that that the banks capital reserves could absorb various stress test scena

  37. Righ now Bitcoin is hanging around in the $12,900 range, we got another green day yesterday and not much pull back from Wednesday's intraday high of $13,200. Yesterday Bitcoin (closed) at $12,983, higher than the highest close in 2019 which was $12,920 on June 26, 2019. Yesterday's close was the highest close since January 15, 2018 which was $13,607. Now the price needs to break 2019's intraday high of $13,880 which occurred on June 26, 2019. Looking good.

  38. LOL its such a big problem you can't even PAY banks to solve it with XRP! Cue the regulations excuse.... So sick of that excuse! You know there is a WHOLE world out there besides the US, some have even given XRP the regulatory OK. Guess what you can't pay those banks in those countries to use it either to solve this mysterious trillion dollar problem. XRP volumes are pathetic even in places where they have regulatory approval and can use XRP. No one wants it.
