Blog: Ripple Partners and XRP Price

In this blog I discuss the impact of partnership announcements, price movements of XRP, and discuss how YOU can stay involved! Please share this across the social social media platforms you use and follow me to stay up to date. And please let me say this, if you are on Twitter, please RT this. Twitter has silenced the voice of many good XRP investors, and for what reason we do not know. Blessings! https://bigbuckor.wordpress.com/2018/03/02/ripple-partners-and-xrp-price/

Hello, folks. I'm the same dude that built Large Funds Tracking (~90B XRP) visualizer. This time, I've spent a bit of time building a crude trade simulator for those who are interested in getting into trading but worried to perform poorly and lose real money. I think the simulation page is about stable enough to be made public, so here it goes: Data Analysis Panel & Simple Trade Simulation (though, it may be a bit buggy at times. ) I hope you find it useful. Cheers!

lol, that's adorable. Sell? Why the mother of godly f*cks would I sell? Just because I'm not on the forum 24/7 anymore yelling out all sorts of MOON's and LAMBO's doesn't mean I sold. Have an imagination.

    FUD source identified?

Start with this: https://seekingalpha.com/article/4151800-ripple-taken-ride-now-look-continued-fall Here is my favorite part in case you don't have time to read the article: "Our recommendation is to stay away from Ripple, or sell news coming out from its team." Then notice this: Then notice that SeekingAlpha has a series of articles on Ripple, some of which are FUD and some that are not. Each FUD article is tagged with "Winklevoss Bitcoin Trust ETF". Here are some examples: None of the listed articles explicitly reference Winklevoss Bitcoin Trust ETF and contain the term only in the associated search tag. Each article has a seemingly different author, yet all employ the exact same strategy: Each gives out at least one shout out to Bitcoin as still being the market leader Each one focuses on recent xrp news and provides at least some semi-legitimate insight to the news In each instance the author is "not fooled" by the news, which they then proceed to spin into an affirmation of their expert opinion pointing to the inevitable xrp failure You can draw your own conclusions here. If you ever found yourself believing the FUD as it was too wide spread, the sources simply too diverse for it not to be true, and the notion that these so-called FUDsters were deployed in some sort of coordinated fashion simply too far fetched - you are not the only one; I felt the exact same way. Paid FUDsters? Evil whale bots suppressing xrp price? Anti-XRP Twitter campaigns? Give me a break on that tinfoil hat conspiracy crap. I mean, who could these supposed "bitcoin maximalists" be that would even have the incentive (and never mind the resources) to orchestrate this type of sustained and prolonged attack? This is who: Just for giggles, cross this with the past 12 months of xrp and btc price action and ask yourself how you would play the market if you were the one sitting on a large btc position that could be threatened by the rise of xrp. (HINT: not much more differently than it already played out)

Okay....so you forgot you owned xrp. Then you forgot you owned some BTC mining equipment. Do you see a pattern here? You do remember you're on an xrp forum, correct?

More banks offer cold coin storage

It's not if, but when traditional banks are offering cold storage for digital currencies. AML and other regulations might make it tricky to offer cold storage for coins that were bought through non-bank exchanges. This bank offering in Liechtenstein brings us a step closer to more secure storage, which would probably greatly accelerate acceptance of digital currencies among the general population. https://cointelegraph.com/news/liechtensteins-bank-frick-introduces-direct-cryptocurrency-investment-and-cold-storage Swiss banks Swissquote, Vontobel and Falcon Private already offer cold storage, but only for existing account holders who bought coins via the bank (at inflated commissions). Now Dutch crypto product Rabobit (from Rabobank) is up to something similar: https://www.rabobit.nl/ That's great news that will drive more market-friendly regulation. Of course I'm waiting for the day that banks offer cold storage to any coin holder.

I Guess I’m the luckiest man on this forum. My son was born almost 17 years ago, and suffers from autism and he’s mentally disabled, having an iq less than 30. He’s almost a grown man now, but functions as a nearly two yr old toddler. He can speak a few words ( thank God of that) so it’s possible to communicate with him at his level. Despite the less luck he ( and we ) had in life, he’s my most precious ( with my beautiful 22 yr old daughter off-course). Many downsides on having that bad luck, but then again, which father is entitled to binge Sesamestreet, Bob the Builder and other great series for young kids all day long without people questioning my own sanity?

If some people were stupid enough to pay $20,000 for one worthless Bitcoin I certainly hope some people will be smart enough to pay $500+ for one valuable Zerp.

Man, I hate this crap. Just bought more. On 1 hand I feel like I keep dumping money away with every paycheck, into something that really hasn't reacted well to good news, and I'm only continuing to buy because of FOMO. On the other hand, I never invest more than I can afford to lose, I believe in the tech (love Ripple but not 100% sure about XRP), and if things skyrocket, I'm rich, and if things go to zero, well like I said I never invest more than I can afford to lose. But yet every time I buy more, I look at my wallet and I'm like, "Damn, that's a lot of money I have invested overall." I guess I'm just at the age where I'm just saying WTF, I'm growing a big pair of balls and saying f*** it, I want to retire early, this is the horse I picked in the race, and I'll ride it to the moon or lose everything (that I could afford to lose). I know I shouldn't even be following this stuff on a daily basis, because if it works out it's clearly a long-term thing, but it's like crack and I just can't help myself.

Other than the obvious reasons like XRP (along with just about every other digital asset) is tied to BTC...I think maybe one reason we aren't so easily moved is because all of the announcements have been either big name remittance companies or smaller banks. Ripple has been pushing the "we are here to fix SWIFT" angle in the media very hard and I think to some degree people aren't going to give Ripple the credit it deserves until some well known bank stands up and makes it clear "We are moving from SWIFT to Ripple w/ xRapid". It's unfortunate, but that's how I'm starting to feel because as everyone has pointed out the news has been amazing and relentless over the last several weeks. Even a few articles have phrased the recent XRP Pilot announcements as "Ripple managed to find a use case in the remittance arena". Managed? Bleh...I shake my head at that kind of sentiment and lack of understanding of the technology and how it can literally be applied to any business sector and produce some level of cost savings for businesses that utilize the tech. I guess what I'm trying to say is XRP appears to be held to a higher standard than the other digital assets out there. And that's OK. I'd rather hold a digital asset that is scrutinized to hell and back and still comes out on top than just be another digital asset getting pump and dumped. The future is very, very bright for Ripple and XRP. I can't wait to see the innovation over the next few years.

    FUD source identified?

Bunch of losers, they don't matter. I can't stand intellectual dishonesty, no matter the circumstance. Edit: And I'll add that the whole BTC philosophy is to throw out the 'good old boys' because they are inefficient and corrupt. Well, relative to crypto, BTC holders are the 'good old boys' and are inefficient and corrupt with the FUD that they throw out. Kind of ironic, isn't it?
