"The Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) is a large open international community of network designers, operators, vendors, and researchers concerned with the evolution of the Internet architecture and the smooth operation of the Internet. It is open to any interested individual. The IETF Mission Statement is documented in RFC 3935."

Via the Interledger mailing list, the Interledger core team plans on attending IETF 96.

According to the mailing list:


There is a 2 hour session scheduled for Interledger on Thursday 21 July where we'll be presenting the project and getting input from the IETF community.
The IETF are very keen to see how well supported the project is so if you are able to, please do attend and lend your support.
